I can not say enough great things about Emad and the team at Audio Shack. My factory radio on my 2014 Camaro was just not cutting it for me anymore. The bluetooth kept giving me issues, the screen was getting blurry. Trying to use the radio was an exercise in irritation. The idea of replacing the factory radio seemed impossible due to the fact that the factory radio also has all of the A/C controls and seat warmers built into it. I needed a way to replace the radio, but keep all of my factory settings including steering wheel controls, air conditioning controls, OnStar, Backup Camera, etc. I went in to see Emad after reading the reviews on Yelp, and he came highly praised. I went in on a Friday and told him what I wanted to accomplish, and he gave me his best recommendation. While his initial recommendation was a steep price, when I asked him if he had other options he was more than happy to work with me to find something within my budget. He answered all of my questions, and explained the difference between the different receivers. I settled on a Pioneer unit, and he even gave me different options for the extra unit I would need to have installed in order to keep all the settings I wanted, including pros and cons. Now, anyone can talk a good game, but what it really comes down to is could his team deliver? He had to special order the part I needed in order to keep my settings, so we scheduled the appointment for the next Friday. By Monday I realized I never actually asked the model number on the radio, so I called to ask so I could check out all the extra features we did not talk about. Emad was more than happy to give me the information, and as a bonus he let me know the part he ordered had already arrived! Since my stock radio was driving me crazy, he worked with me to reschedule the appointment for Wednesday instead of Friday. He was super accommodating. I dropped the car off as soon as they opened on Wednesday, and by 3pm it was all done. Considering the amount of wiring that was required for this install, I was impressed with how quick they got it done. When I picked up the car I was blown away by how exact everything fit. It was like a factory radio on steroids! I included a picture so you can see how well the work was done. Emad went to the car with me to make sure I was satisfied with the look, and to show me how all the cool new features on my new radio worked. I tested all the buttons, and everything worked flawlessly. Honestly, I was nervous because there was a lot going on with this car to make it all still function the way I wanted it to and Emad and his team proved they were not only up to the task, but that they could far exceed my expectations. As someone that has worked in the automotive dealership industry on the parts side for over 12 years, I definitely was going to hold Audio Shack to a high standard and that standard was met. This is now absolutely my go-to spot for my car audio needs. Eventually I am going to want to upgrade my speakers, add an amp and probably a subwoofer. Long story short, but Audio Shack wrote the last chapter of which Omar authored and I believe the installer's name was Ishmael. Anyway, I bought a after market stereo for my new Subaru Forester on Black Friday. When they went to install it, they could not hook up the steering wheel controls, because they said there were no parts to do so yet for the model of c. I randomly drove by their shop one day and they gave me a pretty good quote to install the parts that they could use to do so. I went ahead like a dumbass and ordered the parts from Crutchfield and they told me it would only take and hour to do and with help with their Tech Support could guide me through it on a live video chat as I can figure things out, but have ZERO experience installing these newer car receivers. They also told me it would only take and hour to do so. Well they did not send enough connections and after 6 hours I bailed on the project. I went inside and called Audio Shack and Omar told me to bring it in the next day. It took them awhile to do, which I am not surprised by at all, but I never would've been able to do this on my own and should have never been told by Crutchfield I could do this little project that turned into quite the story. But I have steering wheel controls and Omar even showed me how to use MORE of the receiver and how it functions. I will be back! read more

This and Stereo Depot which are owned by the same person or people is the worst. I have been dealing with poor service from these guys for years. In 2022, I decided I wanted to replace my factory speakers and went there for them install them. They sold me a line out converter, the amp, and speakers. They cut the factory speaker mounts and cut out the factory speakers which were damaged. What if I wanted to trade in my vehicle and put the factory speakers back in....well screw that idea. I noticed I had a fader issue. They told me I needed an lc2 instead of my lc8i that they sold me in 2022. I asked them to see if when I bought the speakers were they the ones I purchased. They showed me in the car. The tech then came out to the lobby and said my speaker had a hole in it. It didn't have a hole when they showed me. And they wanted me to buy another one....fast forward I purchased a sub and amp from them and they sold me the floor model that came out of someone's vehicle. It blew and the. They replaced it because of it being under warranty with a brand new one. Im still having fader issues and lose of power $2600 Later. Will never go there again. read more

The group of guys here helped me out when I was in a pinch with my alarm system. I went in for a replacement remote. Not only were they able to help me with that they went beyond and finished what Best Buy didn't. The valet switch wasn't installed. At first I was hesitant to believe (assuming Best Buy did the job correctly) until they showed me what the piece looked like. I realized I had just seen it at home when I grabbed the manuel to make sure I received the right remote. On a side note, I had a self ran Bluetooth microphone wire that was tucked into, but not officially behind the dash. While the guy had the dash off to pair the remote to the alarm he tucked the wire behind the dash as well. He didn't have to, but he still did. Very friendly group of guys that know their product and will go out of the way to make lasting impression. I'd recommend them to friends and I plan to go back for future needs. read more

Fantastic customer service. They gave me a great deal with awesome products. They even helped me out when I chose a complicated system (JVC) which was awesome but had too many options to safely operate and drive haha so I went back and I decided to get a better but more simple Sony XAV-AX5000 which is AWESOME and goes great with the Cerwin Vega 12" subs they installed! They understood what I actually needed and worked with me to swap it out at a discounted price including installation! Came in the other day after shopping around for a bout a month for me wanting an upgrade on my stereo and called and they gave me the best pricing after searching and going through a few dozen audio shops. EMAD is the man ! He hooked it up with an amazing deal for the two 12 in subs I was looking for and even got my windows limo tinted all the way around for dirt cheap. I had a "not so common" install and needed them to just run the ground and common wire to +12 volt accessory. Gave me a fair price. I Gave them minimal info on the product, as much as I had. The installer not only did his part. But saw my main power run wasn't "up to his standards" haha. He ran all new wires the right way. Went above and beyond double and triple checked his work, and even my portion of the install. Went to stereo depot before. Now kicking myself for not going with these guys in the first place. Super knowledgeable and upfront. The guys in the back. At least my installer, Might be an electrical genius. I went to tint my car windows and when I went to get my car all the windows were dirty and not done correctly so I went the next day to get my windows fixed and he told me he would get them fixed. The two windows on the passenger side weren't right and I came back after four days and when he saw them he told me he would do them again. He told me to bring the car back in four days to fix it again and when he did it again there was a scratch on the window of the passenger side and the back window wasn't done right. When I showed him again he said he can't fix it because it's not a Mercedes or BMW and it's just a Toyota so he left them done wrong, so I have to get them done at another place and pay again. read more

I wanted to add an amp & speakers to my 2014 Camaro's stock radio. Alex recommended JL speakers & alpine amps. Sound quality is incredible. I came into audio shack to have a digital touch screen installed. They helped me out and did a perfect job. I could not have asked some to do a better job than they did with the install. Omar is the man! I've gone to Audio Shack before with a small issue and they've been super willing to help out. I came in to drop off my truck because my speakers weren't working. Super friendly felt with Emad. I brought my vehicle in to have my sub and amp hooked up to my stock Sony deck. Pricing was competitive seeing I checked also with stereo depot up the street that I've done business with before but I decided to go here seeing it was my second quote and how inviting they were.
