LIARS, stay away from this place , the guy at the front desk is a total and complete liar, I take my work truck in for a new system and back up camera . The guys started with a 1000 dlls quote, and I added a few other things . Well it goes up to 1500 then I added tinted windows . He quoted me 1600 out the door . And he promised the truck would be ready in 1 day, so I agree. I drop off the truck at 930 as they opens , at 550pm, I start heading there , he calls me as I am leaving my house to go pick it up, and tells me it's not ready, instead of apologizing, or giving me a discount t or something, he proceeds to argue with me . This place has no ethics, they do t keep there word, so I cancel my job I had for the morning and give them till 11am the next morning, they did tint the windows as it was part of the deal. I don't have the time nor the energy to deal with this business ever again. My go-to audio system install place. I wantèd à new audio system for my 2011 Honda Fit Sport. Adam was awesome. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions and concerns. My Honda Fit had the standard radio, cd and aux system. I now have this beautiful Pioneer system that includes bluetooth, gps, handsfree phone, sirius, backup camera and I can also use my ipod with the USB/aux. Your install guy did a fantastic, clean job on my car. Looks as tho it is factory made. THANK YOU so very much. This is the 2nd install you have done for me. You installed an awesome pioneer system in my 1998 mustang. Adam also installed a.new system in our 1990 Toyota truck. Now that is up to date with new technology. Great Experience. On my 2020 Jeep they installed Tint Alarm and door locks. I had manual locks that had to be locked by hand. My doors now open with the alarm and lock when the Jeep is turned on. Great Safety add on feature. My 2017 Civic I got LED lights installed very bright and good quality. I thought my previous lights where bright no comparison. Ehmad and Alex are both very friendly and helpful. Most of all they where 100% honest. Compared to other shops they gave me the best deal and didn't try to rip me off. Wow, I walk into this shop to ask a favor of the guy, sitting, playing on his phone behind the counter. No customers at all. I asked if he could show me how to,connect my phone with my car radio. He asked if it was one he sold me. I told him no, it is pre installed. Then no, I don't work on anything I don't sell! Very rude! No wonder everytime I drive by I never see customers. read more

Make damn sure you're buying the correct part. I called ahead, was told they had my adapter. Came down, picked it up, went to install and it's for the wrong year. So, I came back in, they don't actually have the part and they won't give me a $20 refund...only store credit. (Adam) When he went back they said they needed $100 deposit to make an appointment he refused to pay the $100 to make appointment. My husband replied what if you damage my truck or do something wrong ??!'ll pay once it's installed. They said ok but pushed for him to then leave a $20 deposit which he reluctantly did. I said that is NOT normal practice to pay for an appointment and called to cancel. Left message to cancel then called back to request our refund from this shady company. You didn't order anything for him it's a service and you haven't supplied it. He continued to double talk making no sense. I said I want our money back he refused said you can have store credit only. ( not even my doctor charges me that high) they quoted me around $1,200.00 and they asked me to shop around when I told them their price was way too high for just a simple alarm. I called a place in El Cajon Blvd called SOUNDIEGO I got a quote for 199.99 for a Viper alarm but I choose a higher model with notification mode and they did an excellent job installing the Viper alarm for only $299.99 total cost in only 1.5 hrs. Took my car to Audio Shack of El Cajon & they appeared to be professional installers. It wasn't long before I began having problems with the radio. I had to keep taking my car back to them to get it fixed, waiting several hrs. ea. time. The third time I was there, I was promised I would get a replacement radio, if I had to return one more time due to the radio not working properly. The radio malfunctioned again, but when I returned & asked about getting a replacement, the owner named "Adam" was very rude and did not honor their replacement promise. The repair person said that the wires were not done properly. The 5th time I returned the owner was extremely rude. He kept talking over me repeating loudly that he was the boss. He even followed me out to my car yelling he was the boss. I don't recommend taking your car to Audio Shack. The owner, "Adam" is not honest and doesn't stand by their promises. Don't trust them!
