Terrible Customer service, Left voice mail to get a quote for a 98-inch TV. No call back. Called them again and they said they would have to check with best buy first to see what they charge and would call back. No call back. Called again and he said he still had to check with best buy as they have never mounted a 98in TV. Seems really odd they couldn't give me a quote until they checked with best buy. Very unprofessional. I would think they would have mounted many TVS as this is something they state they do and should be able to give me a quote without having to go to best buy. read more

Well I thought I would update my review... Here is how are started my last one... "Audio Labs is the place I would most like to spend 10,000 dollars if I had it laying around! I have always wanted a truly HI-FI amazing sound system to play my records and cd's on. Someday you will be mine!" Well now you are mine! Yep I got to sit down with the staff from Audio Labs and play some music through multiple sets of receivers, speakers, turntables to find what truly might be the best sounding hi-fi set up for my money.. Mind you I had about 9 times less then I wanted to spend as you read above but I got a really nice new set up for playing music, that fit my budget and that's what I was shooting for! Lots of options and it's cool they take the time and explain what might be best for you! Top notch stuff and top notch customer service.. They event loaded it into my trunk for me! read more

Remarkably rude. I called to ask some questions about an audio set-up, to understand if I could get rid of a current speaker set-up in favor of new speakers connected via Bluetooth. After explaining why I was calling I was curtly interrupted by Jim (prefaced by Jim saying "before going any further...") to ask if I had purchased the equipment I was calling about from Audio Labs. I said no. And he immediately shut down the conversation, saying we can't help you and saying bye before even allowing me to respond. I am ok being told someone can't help, but Jim's tone and presumptive attempt to end a conversation was remarkably rude. Little did he know I was interested in purchasing a new set of speakers/enhancing my audio set up but apparently audio labs isn't interested in that. Not only will I never call back or seek out audio labs in the future, I will actively advise people to seek out other businesses. If Jim isn't the owner, hire better. If Jim is the owner, you have room for improvement. read more

I went in to demo equipment. The salesman constantly recommended Paradigm. I asked, "can you tell me what sets this speaker brand apart from other companies such as Sonus Faber, Revel, Bowers & Wilkins, Martin Logan, Mcintosh?" The salesman stated, "let's not worry about that, let's just let this brand speaker for themselves". Jim the Owners, said "there are other stores that sell those brands, sorry but good luck". Pathetic, and very pushy for Paradigm or Magnapan. The Salesman could NOT TELL ME ANY TECHNOLOGY BACKED BEHIND THIS BRAND. Worst experience ever, however I went to Audio Logic and much better selection of Actually hi-fi products. I did purchase through Best Buy and got a McIntosh c2700, 2 mono block MC611 amps, and Bowers & wilkins 802 speakers. I've just moved to DSM from Dallas,TX and wanted to support a local business for tv mounting. Jim suggested that I go to Best Buy instead since it was a "basic service" He was extremely nice but it was just really annoying that he made the comment to me. read more

In 2014 we build a home and wanted to have some modern touches. AudioLabs was our first choice to handle the lighting, and security, but we didn't really have any plans for home audio. After several meetings with Harry, he convinced us to install a Nuvo music system in our house... This system has changed the way my family listens to music. Our new house turned out great, but the Nuvo system is our favorite part, and now we listen to more music than we watch TV. I would recommend AudioLabs for anything related to home audio, security or home automation. They won't over sell you, and the prices are fair. Great service! read more

Save yourself time, money and frustration and go to Audio Labs first rather than best buy. I made the mistake of thinking best buy was giving me a good deal and it sounded like they knew what they were talking about... then I tried Audio Labs - the difference is night and day - the people at AL are all very knowledgeable and if what you're looking for or asking about isn't their area of expertise they'll introduce you to the person there that can best help you. They take their time with you - sit you down in the sound room and have you listed to as many different devices and/or speakers that you want to and tell you all about them. They are not pushy at all and would rather you leave not buying anything at all then leaving with something you're not sure about or may not be happy with...try saying that after leaving Best Buy or Travis! The products at AL are more expensive than BB and Travis but you will definitely know why you're paying more and you'll hear/see the difference - if you've only shopped at BB check out AL - you'll be happy you did! read more
