Then he proceeded to help the older gentleman that was at the counter installing his own batteries, while I am standing there. The older gentleman leaves and the employee rings me up. The employee states "I can save you $10 if you buy a flashlight. Huh? Well we have a special and if you buy the flashlight I can $10 off." I felt I didn't have a choice, so I did. I had no idea the battery was only $5.99.. Then the employee couldn't print a receipt so who knows. Either way I feel really taken advantage of. I could have installed the battery myself. I wasted my whole lunch hour and several hours after trying to do something that Verizon should've just been happy to help me do in the first place. I went to the store to get the help I asked for the first time and the manager tried to give me a phone number and send me off again and I told her if you don't want to help me you can just take this thing back and then she said "that will be fine" because she clearly didn't wanna help. well, it's not fine because you wasted a whole bunch of my time, and didn't try to help me at all when i was trying to prevent abunch of wasted time and then when I got upset about it, she told me that I have to leave or she will call the police. I really cannot believe this happened to me, but if something doesn't get straightened out and she doesn't get reprimanded I am seriously considering canceling my service because there is no way I am going to let my phone company treat me like that.
