Only purchase a phone after inspecting it thoroughly and you're 100% sure you want to keep it. Do not purchase if you are on the fence. Very dissatisfied with how the manager on duty did business. Purchased a used Moto X (for $200) 2 weeks ago, found that the back kept coming off due to a crack in the case. Phone had a pretty dismal battery life and for that and other reasons, decided no longer wanted it. Came back to the store, told the girl at the counter I'd like a refund, she stated that the refund policy was only 3 days. Okay I said, I thought the sales associate said I could return the phone anytime within 30 days, but whatever. You can just buy it back from me. Girl calls manager on the phone, says he will only give me $60 for this phone that he sold for $200 just over 2 weeks ago? She told me the phone market releases have greatly affected the purchase price of this device. Really? Both Amazon and Swappa metrics show 0% decrease in average price of the Moto X in the last two months. This was obviously poor business practices and an attempt to manipulate a consumer. It also doesn't help that they give customers $10 gift cards after they leave positive reviews. They incentivize an inflated and inaccurate representation of their business. Will never do business here again, will do my best to steer friends and family away. You should too. read more

My iphone was run over by a truck. The screen was completely ruined. I was able to see light on the screen, however the glass broke into pieces. I looked up a phone repair store in des moines, iowa. KB wireless is the closest store located on 2nd avenue. When i came to the store, the store owner answered all the questions that i had. He could fix my phone within a day and the replacement service costs $85 only. Wow! Other store might charge you $200 for that. Next day i came back and my phone had been fixed. It is working like a charm until now. I also sold my used iphone to KB for $150. What a good store! I recommend anyone want to sell used phone, fix your broken phone in Des Moines. Wow and wow! My Samsung Galaxy S3 charging port decided to fall out and i have no idea who can fix it. I ran to several phone repair shops in Des Moines such as wireless exchange, ifixit ....but non of them can guarantee that my phone could be fixed. KB wireless was my last chance, so i crossed my finger. My first experience was that KB is a really nice guy. He offered to fix it for me and wouldn't charge a dollar if he couldn't get it done. I was kind of worried but it was a great offer I came back on the next day. The charging port had been fixed. I felt so happy and had been promoting this store to anyone ever since. I have had not one but now I have 2 complaints and it's because these people are unexplainabley rude to me all the Time like they don't give me 35% sale the phones all day for 600-1500.00$ when they give me 400. you'd think they would be happier with the people giving them product to make profit wit!!!! The staff I dealt with were very friendly and straightforward. My phone was repaired in about an hour and works great now. I was really impressed with KB Wireless. I had a broken LCD on a Galaxy S4. I expected the repair to take weeks. I asked tons of questions when I got there and they were extremely patient with me. He pulled the part they would use off the shelf and showed me what they would do. The phone was ready to go in 2 hours and came with a warranty for their work. I brought in a iphone 5 with a cracked screen which Apple would charged a rate of $250 to have it replaced and eta of 1-2 days.
