The owner has expanded and this location holds all types of wonderful items from artists from across the country. The selection is not overwhelming but gives you plenty to look through. Jake stayed after close helping us get measurements (even though he knew we were not buying anything that night) and then went out of his way to make sure I had a quote that night so I could decide on what I wanted. He was very accommodating and even put up with my back and forth on a couple items. He made sure it was delivered quickly so my office was up and running and then met me Saturday (they're closed Saturdays) when I decided I wanted an office chair. I can't say enough good things about this company. Iowa owned and operated (as in the family actually works there)! Routh's Rubbish still offers the same great type of liquidation deals and features daily videos, but they have also expanded their hours. This makes it much easier for those of us who live on the other side of town to get over there an take advantage of some of the great deals offered here! Dig bins are available now and then (more often than not). Still offering stellar savings on drinks, bread, chips, Little Debbie's, and occassionally jerky or meat sticks... They've cleaned up the shelving and floor space so that the space has a cleaner feel to it. This makes it a little bit more welcoming to people who aren't used to this type of business. It's still more or less a warehouse space, but it feels more open and a little less congested. I'm going to miss my friend Ted. Routh's took over the business shortly before he passed. I was a big fan, and a supporter, of T.D.s, and I hope to continue doing business with Routh's!
