I recently purchased a dash cam for my new car. This was the second car I've taken to audio extreme to do the installation and once again Troy did a fantastic job! Professional service, fast and affordable. I highly recommend audio extreme! Thanks again Troy! read more

Thank you Troy, installed a stereo for me today very quickly and explained how the unit worked even though I didn't buy it from him. Clean shop, very professional, and polite. I didn't get the guys name that was working with Troy but he was also very polite. I will definitely recommend this place for any stereo needs or even parts that you can't find. Thank you again read more

And 30-40 minutes later I had my upgrade installed.. I was a walk-in ...done! Go check em out ,they got it all read more

I had Audio Extreme install an amp and stereo in my car. They installed the amp next to my battery and placed a small piece of wood to separate the amp from the battery. Then they installed it in a way that the battery can't be disconnected for winter storage. It disabled everything in the car and I had to have a tow truck come to unlock the door to my car so I could get in. All Troy had to say is why do you need to disconnect the battery and then threw the piece of wood to the floor. Whatever happened to customer service and providing quality service? I'm so disappointed!!! read more

Troy is a wonderful man and they have just about anything you might need for your car. I recently got a Bluetooth system. A young gentleman helped me at the front to order it Although what I didn't know is that it was gonna have to plug into a cigarette lighter. It was a decent price. Troy was really helpful. I appreciate his hard work. I look forward to having them pimp out my car. Just make sure that you ask questions first and that you understand how it's being done.. the service was quick fast. The parts arrived timely I'll definitely be back read more

I called to get a quote and revived very valuable information about my Mercedes. I am so thankful this business is honest and Troy was amazing with sharing pros and cons of changing out my stereo system. This is a business that will not scam you. I will be bringing all future customizations here. read more

Horrible customer service, I took my vehicle for repair they said it was done was very expensive service, 3 days later I took it back for the same reason and they changed me more ,have no idea what they did wouldn't take it back read more

Troy reached out with a competitive quote so I scheduled an amplifier and subwoofer install for my 25 Jeep Wrangler. Process couldn't have been simpler and Troy is a professional. We discussed the install briefly and he was on his way. I had no idea this place was an option and I am grateful I received correspondence from Audio Extreme. Top work and I definitely recommend them. read more

Warning to others considering this shop. I brought my Can-Am Ryker in to have a Boss MC900 amplifier installed with my Boss MCBK420B speakers. During the installation, the shop removed and discarded the original controller that came with the speakers and wired the system directly to the amp. After the install, the system sounded significantly worse than before -- very hollow with little usable volume. I later took the bike to another audio shop to diagnose the problem. They confirmed the amp and speakers themselves were working, but the system overall was not designed or matched properly for the performance I wanted, and the original controller had been thrown away during the first installation. I also want to mention the pricing. I was told the labor rate was $120 per hour, and the job took about 1.5 hours, but I was charged $450 for the work. Unfortunately I now have to replace the entire system. I'm sharing this so others ask detailed questions about system design, compatibility, and labor charges before agreeing to an install, and to make sure original components are not discarded without your approval read more

I have been going here for 6 yrs, my 7 yr old black car looks brand new! They always do a great job, Ive been to a couple of other places but was disappointed in the outcome read more

First Class Service Troy always takes care of his customers AAAA++++ Put a Dash cam in my car. Fast done properly very satisfied.

I can't express enough how much I appreciate this business. I came in with a problem real small problem for them, but it was a big problem for me, long story short The gentleman who took care of me could have charged me a lot more money if you wanted to, and I was in such a pickle I would've paid it, but he did not, he was honest and so kind spoken and everyone else in this shop as well I give my thanks to the owner for his staff that he has working for him read more

If you're an appointment only company, you might want that on your website, somewhere. Just drove all the way there from Riverside to find them closed an hour before their closing time. First question he asked when we called was "Did you make an appointment? We're appointment only". What a waste of time. read more

Oh boy where do I start...... well I had all my stuff pre purchased which should make any audio shop happy having a customer come there already knowing what he wants and have everything needed so all you have to do is install, so anyway let's get to it. I show up for my appointment and had them install a pioneer nex headunjt and Jbl speakers on all four doors which was 250.00 I know I over paid because I got a quote for 250 which included my sub. (We'll get to that as well lol) so I was like meh ok whatever. I had a voucher that they have here in yelp for 95.00 you get 125.00 in credit. So I asked to use it and no one there beside Troy (the owner) only knew how to use. Then he told the employee in front of me the voucher is only good if you spent 300.00 or more on product. Pause..... No where on the voucher, fine print or on yelp is this addressed which is false advertisement and a bait and switch. So i told him that and honestly he wasn't happy about it. So I inquired about getting my subs wired in which I already had everything for (amp included). And tell me why it cost 150.00 to install?!! If I was not in the oil field and made good money I'd be pissed but I figured meh times are tough, let em have it cause it'll be my first and last experience with this shop. Seeing how they can't remember customers names who seem to come in on a monthly basis case example a lady walked in, paid 800.00 yes 800!!! On a sound system with install and etc and they wrote her a invoice yet didn't know her name. I'd be damn if I had a customer spend 800 in my store and I couldn't even remember a simple name or right a invoice with it. They just told her to come tomorrow and they install. I was shocked on this lol. But hey it's the Dino so no Brainer. I think what was the most unpleasant experience as well was when I went to get my subs installed I was told I be the first scheduled appointment and he assured me I would be and when I get there early I look to see another walk in customer getting a install done which they did move out and worked on mine because they could tell I was not in the mood. And after it was done I was not notified as I'm sitting in their lounge area for a good 2 hrs when it was done way before then. Honestly if I didn't ask if it was finished I could have been there for 3 plus hours. read more

Friendly, thoughtful service. Good prices too. No nonsense. Installed a digital mirror and 2 cameras in my SUV. Would highly recommend to anyone. read more

Great service from Troy. Was willing to do the work we requested, and had professional suggestions on how to make things better. Will definitely use their service again. read more

Took my Jeep in for a new car stereo. They installed my Pioneer radio in less than one hour. Which was awesome cos I was a walk-in and they are by appointment only. They were so friendly and helpful and obviously know what they are doing. It was a brilliant experience and I would leave more than 5 stars if I could. They do great work and you can trust them. Can't recommend them enough. You can't go wrong. Cheers! read more

Troy gets 5 stars for my Tacoma Amp and subwoofer installation, with 2 x 10" kickers in a custom enclosure. Nicely installed with dedicated amplifier, great sound. Unfortunately he gets 0 stars for blowing off my BMW speaker upgrade. He ignored my request without explanation, so I ordered a Bavsound plug & play speaker and sub kit along with the tools and did it myself. Troy, Google Bavsound and Bimmertech and increase your customer base. Sell installation, not hesitation and apathy. read more

Audio Extreme - Car Stereo Installation Near Me - Calimesa, California

I contacted this business to have a custom box made to fit my car. After a back and forth, I was told it wasn't going to fit and they were happy to tell me it wouldn't fit after sending them dimensions. (Kind of rude and arrogant). So I had a company online custom cut a box for me to assemble. Fit perfectly with no issues even though this business said repeatedly it would not fit. A simple "come on over and we will see what we can do" would have sufficed. To be fair, I stated I needed 3.6 cubic feet net internal. Box ended up being 2.8 net internal and would have fit being 3.6 net too only adding about 2.5 inches to the depth. read more

Went in to fix my amplifier and got it done all within 40 mins. Installed a better amp, bolted the subs down. I loved the vibe of the place! I never leave reviews but this shop deserves it! read more

They have no customer urgency and are very rude. They will walk right past you even after you've asked for help multiple times.

Life savers! I got a component set done for my 2020 Honda Civic Sport Touring at another shop and they absolutely biffed it. But these guys NAILED IT!!! Had an amazing understanding of what to do, very knowledgeable on ALL kinds of audio and everything to do with it. Sorry if this review is skewed, but I'm just ecstatic with how well and quick they performed. Would rate 10 stars if I could! Recommend to EVERYONE! Thank you again, guys! Job well done read more

Absolute best customer service I have ever received at a stereo shop in my 20 years of installing my own stereos. Went there to purchase subwoofer and box asked what amp I had and i actually brought it with me, showed him what I had and set me up with the proper sub. He tuned my amp for me and help me understand how to adjust my head unit for the interior speakers that I already have. Will absolutely drive from Yucca Valley to Calimesa for any stereo related purchase's moving forward. Will not go to any other shop. Very Very knowledgeable and it's hard to get customer service like he provided me today! Thank you again and I will be recommending anyone I can to you! read more

This is the worst audio store I've been to . Their customer service sucks and the workers seem like weirdos in work and outside of work. Disrespectful and rude . Would NOT recommend this store if your looking to get your vehicles system upgrades . read more

Always a great experience at Audio Extreme. I would recommend them for all your car audio needs

They did an excellent job with installation and the price was right. I love my new stereo!

They have done several vehicles for us . Excellent experience every time. I highly recommend them.

GREAT WORK. Been coming here since 2009. Have taken all 3 of my little Honda's here for complete system and killswitches. Great work always in and out. But lately their scheduling and priority service is terrible. I've had to come back 3 different times, and I've got turned away this 4th time because they were all booked up. I even came 40 mins before they opened on a Saturday because the guy said Saturday's are first come first served. I seen other people walking in before 9am and when I went inside there was a line and they had already booked 4 cars before they had even opened!!! What a waste of time. And to top it off two different people at this shop gave me two contradicting quotes for the SAME WORK. Hire a receptionist ffs I was about to spend $600+ read more

Talked with owner about a stereo I was looking at on Crutchfield, he was very responsive on having me buy it, and he would install it ( no up sell pressure ). Brought my 2009 Toyota Yaris in and he had me out of there in 20 min. and a good price. Great job!!! read more

Just couldn't be any nicer or more helpful. Zero attitude. Found me the product that was right for me, and didn't try to upsell me.

I always come to Audio Extreme for my auto shenanigans, and once again they did NOT disappoint. Here is what they did for my jeep patriot: -Window tint (limo) all the way around and limo tint strip on windshield -Alarm system installed and I only have to use one key -Running boards installed -360 camera system/7 in monitor installed Everything is perfect and I love it. I definitely recommend these guys, they're great! read more

This shop previously installed a stereo into my Polaris Razor and did an excellent job. About a year and a half later, I somehow got a switch wet and shorted out the stereo. I took it down to the shop and Troy was able to diagnose the problem quickly, replaced the switch, installed a in-line isolator between my two batteries, Rewired my car and readjusted the radio again. After all this, he only charged me $50! I was more than willing to pay a few hundred dollars for the service. Great shop. I highly recommend them. Troy is knowledgeable and professional and we will definitely be visiting his shop again. Thanks guys!! read more

I had the best experience at this shop. Jamie helped me and even though she is a Woman she knew everything about the stereo systems and their functions. I landed at this place by accident sorta say but thank God I did. I believe they gave me a good deal and the installation was very fast and very professional.
