Overall, they got the job done, but this will probably be my last time coming here. About two years ago, I had a Kicker Hideaway 10" installed in my truck for around $550. I was happy with it and liked the extra bass, so I returned to have the same setup installed in another vehicle. This time, the exact same subwoofer installation cost me $700. Considering the speaker itself retails for around $350, the labor charge felt pretty steep. After the installation, I had to make a return trip to address an issue. To their credit, they fixed it without any problems. However, I later started noticing random deep bass rumbles even when no music was playing. After doing my own research, I discovered my vehicle has an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system that was causing the problem. I ended up spending about 30 minutes taking apart my dashboard to access and disable the ANC module myself. The system sounds great now, but I was disappointed that this wasn't identified or addressed during the installation process. These are supposed to be the professionals, and that's why people choose to pay premium prices. In the end, the job got done, but the price was significantly higher than before, and the overall experience didn't meet my expectations. Had an amplifier and a sub installed here, a month goes by and my battery is completely drained and dead. I replaced the battery. After my new battery install I noticed it died again. I discovered the amp was ON when my truck was turned off. I made an appointment for the fix due to a "faulty" product which was purchased in this store it needed to be replaced. The owner decides to complete a "workaround" as a courtesy for me and not replace the faulty part. I asked for some type of compensation for being out a battery and a half his first answer was "no we don't do anything like that" "it's a product that was bought here but we didn't build it so we can't do anything about it" the owner presented fixing the issue THEY caused as a gesture of good faith and a courtesy (which they don't really do) he offered me a store credit if I bought something. Out $300* and now have a DIY fix on my truck. Terrible service, execution & overall care. My friend has spent thousands of dollars here we will never come back and continue to share our experience with others who love music. read more

Camera installation looks good. Customer service can be much better. I paid for a dual dash cam install. Bought a hardwire kit from them. After the install I am playing with the camera and get a message that it's an incompatible hardwire kit. I come back the next morning and with a quick flip through the manual the problem is found. They sold and installed the wrong kit. The kit is blasted everywhere on the packaging. It's obvious that it is needed. I'm told to purchase the correct kit and bring it in. Made an appointment and got it swapped out. The assumed business owner didn't take my thanks kindly. After shaking his head and with a look of distress, he said "I don't know how to say this... I should have charged you." After saying it a second time I took off. Good try, but I don't feel guilty. For how much I paid a professional to install what they do, it should have been done right the first time around. That's on top of no follow up or confirmation regarding my appointment (Read more below) EDIT: Owner dismissed initial disregard of confirmation for original appointment, which never occurred. As a result of such, I had expressed the work I was going to do. Unfortunately, per the perspective of the owner I had not realized I was supposed to pay for basic conversation as well (such as an estimate of how much wire he thinks I should get or the gauge I planned on using). Lastly, if you don't normally sell power wire to customers, let them know. It isn't as if I'm visiting a car audio shop.. oh, wait. *Went there a few weeks ago (01/02/25) to get my speaker wire in my car sorted. I was told I had an appointment on Sunday and gave them my number. I received no confirmation regarding the appointment or follow up after being told I would be. So I came in today to get supplies to do it myself as the alternative. I had mentioned that I had came over before and he said he didn't remember me at all. So I had asked for cabling and advice and how much to get. The owner had charged me 90 dollars for 12 feet of 8 gauge wire, 3 feet of ground wiring, and 2 butt connectors. While I appreciated that I got an extra 1 foot of 8 gauge power wiring and 1 foot of ground wiring.. it seemed expensive. The owner saw me coming a mile away, not knowing what to buy and how much to. These guy know their stuff. JP knew every component necessary to complete the job on my kid's car. They did an excellent job removing the old system in our 16 year old vehicle and put it back together perfectly. They added a backup camera that works perfectly. They did a professional job and it was completed in the time estimate they provided. One caveat, make sure to bring the car with you when you shop. I got tint for one of my vehicles at this location back in 2017. 4 years later, I see an unauthorized purchase from Walmart with $89 Spot and Stain Cleaner being shipped under my name to this very shop without my consent. They also ordered q-tips, lacroix 24pack, and apple juice. I've included a picture showing these items being shipped to their address for proof. Go ahead and compare their address with the one listed in the picture. Scumbags. Edit 08/18/24: I went back to Elite Car Stereo and they were friendly and understanding. They apologized for the mistake and made up for it with fixing the issue promptly. I went to Elite car stereo for their "back to school sale" which included; Savv head unit Savv back up camera Savv front and rear end dash cam Free installation All for $299. ($445 After fees and additional parts not included in the sale or advertisement of the sale) When I got to the location I was greeted by a man at the front desk, he was friendly and helpful. He informed me that the in order to have installation of the deal I needed to buy the wiring harness and installation kit, which rounded up the $299 sale to $445. If I would have wanted the steering wheel harness it would've been $150 extra. I wish they would've included this information in their sale advertisement, or over the phone when inquiring about the sale. I am an LA resident, it took me 1hr 30min (70 miles) to get to this location, due to the reviews and sale going on, I wanted to take advantage and have work done here. Unfortunately the employee forgot the front and rear end dash cam as a part of the sale so it was not installed. Due to not having enough time waiting around for it to be installed I had to leave and will now have to return and drive another 70 miles to have that installed. At no discount or alternative to the mistake. Although it might be rude to confirm over and over with the personnel that they have what you're looking for, I would sure do it to ensure you're getting exactly what you want at this location. read more

Read a lot of good reviews for me to trust, though they lost my trust after how they installed my speakers. I understand base model kicker speakers aren't known for sounding spectacular but I also know they arent supposed to rattle. After i pulled the rear deck cover up i found only one side of the speaker mount screwed in. The mount wasnt the correct mount but couldve at least be secured down properly or at least tell me while doing installation that they dont have the proper mount. The speakers sounded alright but after i took them somewhere else they sounded way better. They did replace my subwoofer when it was blown for the warranty so that was nice. read more

I live in Rancho Cucamonga and had a stuck CD in my Lexsus CD player I tried 2 places here locally Rather than take it to my Lexsus dealer that would charge me an arm and a leg . Stopped by to have a component set and amp I had purchased installed. I didn't have the rears or a head unit and the shop had exactly what I wanted in stock. Prices for the rear speakers and head unit were on average but the radio mounting unit was priced about 30% higher versus purchasing from an authorized retailer online. The cost of the wire and rca runs and distribution block was waived so really a wash for the markup. Everything was done in a couple days and worked ok but I had issues with the head unit. It was replaced with a new one and I don't have an issue now (except for a connection issue dealing with wireless car play and poor cell phone reception). Overall good customer service. Minus 1 star for tech leaving tools inside car (Phillips bit, Allen key loose under rear seat, upholstery clips left undone under seat cushion, a random panel clip I have no idea where it's home and bits of installation stuff like cut off wire jackets.) The other -1 star is how they left the settings on the radio and amplifier. The radio had been set to hpf in the front and left in full range for the rears (not bad if amp is adjusted correctly) and crossed over way to high so was not getting any bass, the gains on the amp were cranked 1/2 way on a 5v preamp source (really really bad distortion, clipping, potential damage to speakers and amp), the installed amp was not fused from the distribution block (potential fire hazard but there is a large fuse on the 0/1 they ran) and after I installed the subs I went to jump the signal wire from the amp they installed and noticed that even though they had cut the end of the signal wire, it was smashed through to bare wire from the amp screw (potential amp issues if the screw had not pierced the wire jacket). One more thing to note is that the 0/1 fuse that is mounted in the engine bay is not screwed to anything but zip tied (potential fire hazard or engine damage if zip ties fail). Overall I think it's a decent shop with average prices with good customer service but needs to work on safe installation practices and adjusting radio/amp settings. read more
