Came here with a intermittent bass failure issue, they quickly ran diagnostics and fixed the issue which turned out to be a faulty hi to low converter, out of all the stereo shops that I've gone to for this issue, this is the only one who actually took the time to get to the bottom of the issue and not offer all kinds of other excuses or products that weren't necessary! If you value your car, don't bring it here because this business can't be trusted to an adequate job. In addition, the owner Troy has rotten character and business ethics. I'm seriously wondering if he just has disdain for women. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. I will be writing at least to the Better Business Bureau and the BAR about my horrific experience here. My bf and I were told to go here to get our third brake light hooked up so that it would work correctly by the repair shop that was putting our car back together after we were rear-ended by a drunk driver. The repair shop was paying this place, piecing out the work. Like it wasn't bad enough we had the unfortunate accident where we had to put our life back to some normalcy with getting the truck fix, this guy Troy had to give us hell. Really nice person. NOT! They hooked up the third brake light to where it was flashing with the left hand turn signal. The third brake light was ONLY supposed to light when the brake is applied. When we took it back to tell him the problem, he insisted on telling us to get more money from the insurance company to give to the repair shop to give to him or pay it ourselves, before he'll hook it up so it worked properly. This is a sham! He was supposed to hook it up so it worked properly from the get go. Furthermore, our insurance company had already paid the repair shop an initial $8500 and $3600 in supplements to repair our vehicle. I believed the repair shop would have paid him to fix it correctly when we came back to tell him the problem, but Troy chose drama and continued to argue about things that were none of his business, like whether the problem with the brake light was accident related or if the wiring was messed up by someone prior. He was paid to get the job done, but he chose drama. He persistently argue, not letting me talk. He spins what was said to what is not true, just to be negative, and because he lacks listening skills. He then proceeded to kick us out of his shop by telling us to leave. I said GLADLY and left letting him know I would never step foot in that place ever again, nor would I refer it to anyone. If this wasn't bad enough, he bad mouth me to the owner of the repair shop saying that I had complained about the body work there when I simply was getting his opinion on whether the tailgate the repair shop put together was aligned correctly. He then dodge inappropriate behavior by saying something about the whole shop heard me and it could have been anyone in the shop that was talking to repair shop owner when I remembered distinctively speaking discretely and directly with him and only him. The repair shop owner accused me of badmouthing him. What a mess. Drama Queen! I've never met a man prior who behaves in this way. I've been working successfully as a systems engineer with a EE degree for three major aerospace companies for close to twenty years so I know what professionalism is. This place has rotten professionalism! In Reality, zero star. They should be out of business for unethical and inappropriate business conduct. This review required a one star to submit. read more

There are so many shops to choose from on this block but what makes them standout is the teamwork and dedication this team has to their craft. Im not a good sitter, during my install i watched as the team collaborate on a series of custom builds on bikes, cars, trucks and boats. I was referred by a friend who has a bad ass system in his truck. When i was offered the deal i couldnt refuse. Troy checked my used equipment to make sure it was all good. Our 2020 silverado needed the upgrade, so we installed some old and added some new. Troy also helped me get a deal on a new optima battery for my car. Do not come to this place trust me. They will underestimate you. I went to go install my car and I wanted 0 gauge at first but they told me it will cost me 300$ and I said "yeahhh no." But I was told if they install 4 gauge on my car it will be 150$ and I was okay with that. Later when they finished installing the system I notice that they didn't correctly put my air vents and my radio frame since those two are connected to each other. I also notice that they installed 8 gauge when I was promised it will be a 4 gauge. I didn't go back inside and confront them about it bc I knew they were going to charge me even more and act like they had their word about it. When I mean "they" I mean It was the owner and the kid that's in the register. Peace of advice just go to California sound or stereo city they are much much much better than that place. read more

I went Saturday January 2, 2021 looking for a remote start for my 2019 Nissan 370Z Nismo the girl seemed nice and she said I can get it there for 249.00 if I pay cash no taxes will be added and she checked to see if they can do it but she said I needed to come during the week I told her during the week the earliest I can make it would be 5pm she said the last install is st 3:30pm. So I told her I would need to take the day off to get it done so I told her I would take the day off and I went this morning to find out I lost 1 day pay for nothing. She didn't check with the installer and he said he couldn't install it with the present alarm I had on the car which I MADE VERY CLEAR ON SATURDAY WHEN I WENT THERE. So be careful with them they will talk bad about other places when they are just as bad if not worst. They will say anything to make a sale. So I took the day off n list 200.00 for nothing. Bad experience here! Took grandson"s new car to have led lights installed in interior. Charged extra for motion leds. Paid, but did not find out until evening when no motion in installed product. Only found out when called to inquire and THEN told that they did not have right module. Grandson took car back in for right module. Bad idea! He called me and told me it wasn't what he wanted. Never were we told that we would give up colors for motion. Bad attitudes with 17yr old. When I called, I asked for owner, Troy. Told me issue was between me and girls in front??? My trunk lock was broke so I tried doing the yelp interaction for a price quote. I waited 24 hrs and no response. So I just called the gentleman told me to come around 3 because they were too busy at that moment. I came around 3 and was told it would take 2 hrs of a wait before they could even see what was wrong with my trunk, so I made another appointment for Saturday. They fixed whatever the issue was for 35. However the guy just messaged back today on yelp and quoted my price 250 and up if my lock was broke which is definitely pricier compared to when the other individual quoted me which was 85 (other shops 130-180) So it all depends who you get I guess read more

When the job was done, they informed me they are 3-way lights: Parking, Brake and Turn Signal. So on this street there are 3 Audio shops. Please save time and money and do not come to this one. To start off there prices are higher and the quality in their products are bad compared to the other two on the same street. In 2018 I drove a VW Jetta 2006 I went in to get my stereo upgraded and they charged me almost 200$ for a unknown branded single bin stereo. They didn't tell me the features or anything that came with it so I told them I'd be back. I then went to the audio shop next door and I paid 300$ flat for a pioneer touch screen stereo with car play they pulled it out the box, powered it through a power source they had in store and showed me everything that came with it before I purchased. Just comparing the two this place is the worst by far. Forwarding to now (2 years later) I have purchased a new car and want to upgrade. I have done hours on hours of research to see the options on what my car could be upgraded too and I didn't know which one to choose. I knew not to come here but I said why not I'll give them another shot. The lady at the front told me that they don't make any after market products for me car? When literally I googled hundreds of them. I didn't even bother and said okay. She didn't tell me why or nothing. Just said it can't be done and that was that. I went to their next door neighbors and again better service will work with you with prices and has plenty of more gadgets for you car. Disrespectful Staff. Brought a car to be tinted after polishing the entire car and car left with scratches/scuffs to the front bumper. Let them know day of, came back morning after and completely disregarded everything. Only compensation offered was "Store Credit." this place is the best ,,they take care of your car like it is there own , I paid them to find the battery drain , and repair my headlights ,, the interior lights didn't work .. the grounds on my car were wrong too... I've been anticipating this install for a few month now and have done A LOT of research on a variety of different products and their prices and in a WIDE area. (From HD all the way to LA). I found great products, I've found great prices, I've found great staff, and I've found great installs. Seldom can all those be found in ONE SHOP though. I went in today with an open mind, but with an end goal aswell. Chris was very knowledgeable. A lot of counter guys just make stuff up to sell, but he was able to express almost verbatim, the info I've gathered in my research. He constantly maintained a comfortable vibe even when if i disagreed or countered his wisdom. In almost 100% of my encounters, the counter guy is typically dismissive or overly aggressive on sales. I was amazed by how patient Chris was with me and all my questions. With that, and almost an hour of picking eachother's brain, we were able to come to an agreement. I'm excited to say that i will be back on Saturday for the install portion of this purchase, and will be posting a follow up review to let Yelp know how well that part goes. i was recommended to this place by a co worker and at first it was great and the customer service was also I was able to speak directly to the owner about how i wanted to have my box built. The box was built and looked great i then noticed that he did not put a false floor where the center console cabinet was sunk into the box. The bass almost broke the top off, I went in the next day with an open mind and asked him if he could fix it and mount the box as promised. He then used drywall screws to mount the box to my floor board and said that he would be charging me 75 dollars to fix it!! not happy at all!!!! will never go there again I would recommend stereo city instead. read more

Great installation best stereo shop I've been to and I've Been having systems since 2006 I wish I knew about this place before

Redone my review was happy for my installation, I cannot denied it but they still use stuff made in china and for 1200 dollars my screen radio isn't apple play, all the money was taken practically in a new dashboard practically built up for bmw, and that was very great for any clients who had European car they need to get there. I am not a liar I am happy for installation, but regret the back up camera is a piece of crap made in china which has not good vision. However I am impressed by the job they did to redone the dashboard broken in so bad shape done by car by a another con artist , the greedy other business. Unfortunately I will never return up at audio extreme except for warranty services if necessary. I was counting on them to make a full evaluation and promised statement due to the damage done by the other businesses located in Redlands near Alabama and redlands boulevard , but they turn the back on me, so I have no other choice to get to court with the other con artist but I will mention with proof of email that effectively audio extreme has proved and promised me to make a honest statements invoice about the broken items and the wrong installation they determined in the first place. I am disgusted of family business in this area pretty conservative people but they just grab you by the wallet .....and you can be sure they will never offer any advantage to a clients. read more

OK this place is the bomb.com! Troy (owner) is awesome! I went to the shop about a month ago or so and he adjusted my system with no problem. Silly me I went to RSM last week and they said that I had blew out my front speakers. They were happy to replace them however, I opted to sit tight for a minute. I decided to go and see Troy about it. Again he said I had changed the adjustments on my radio. He fixed them with no problem. Now I know why his shop gets an A. I took my brothers F150 the same day and got replacement speakers done in less than 40 minutes. Great price and awesome service! read more
