    My center channel fixed
    Blake R.

Such a great experience. Came here after trying out another guy in another city that had no idea what he was talking about. I just felt like I was being lied to the whole time. These guys are on top of their game. They know what is up. Didn't try to hard sell me on anything. I felt like I had the best value for my money and they have an amazing store if you are into high-end home audio. I wish I could afford everything in here...you can spend a lot of money really quick here, so bring your checkbook. Everybody here is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and doesn't try to BS their way out of anything. Will definitely come again after winning the lottery..

    Great selection of vinyl records

I stopped by this company regarding services for installation of flat panel in my office. Unfortunately, they don't install TVs. They specialize in custom two channel audio. Even though they don't do this, they still recommended me to a great company in Monrovia that absolutely took care of the install 100%. Even though I didn't use any services from them, I did buy an album. They have a great selection of music as well. Thanks again for helping me out Rebecca.

I had heard about Audio Element through a good friend. So I went over there wanting to buy my dream stereo. And I was not disappointed. Ian was incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. I was there for several hours listening to their different recommendations of stereo units and turn tables. They let me select vinyls to play. Some Coltrane and then Bill Evans onto Queen and Cat Stevens. The time in their was like a crash course in music stereo knowledge. We talked about sound and how important a good needle was in getting the ultimate listening experience. I love vinyl. It is something I grew up with in the 60's and 70's especially. The system I ended up purchasing was the Rega Planar 6 turn table and the Wharfedale speakers. I am so happy with my Purchase and highly recommend Audio Element for an exquisite music experience and stellar service. And they sampled the Keith Monks Prodigy stereo record cleaner for me. This additional purchase has made so much difference in my album collection! It really does clean your albums both new and existing. Highly recommend this as well!!

The staff is very knowledgable and they pay attention making recommendations for audio gear that fits your needs and budget. I've purchased turntables and receivers for custom cabinets that I build and could not be happier.

CAAAAN YOOOOU DIIIIIIG IT? Poo-Bah can!…read more Poo-Bah Record Shop is a time machine disguised as a music store, and let me tell you--it's the place for anyone who appreciates good tunes and even better customer service. My recent visit felt like stepping into a live Spotify mixtape, and here's why. I went in on a mission: find some records as a Christmas gift for a high schooler who's super smart, learning to play piano by ear, and whose taste in music is a mystery to me. No pressure, right? I grabbed a couple of records with piano-heavy tracks and headed home. But something told me, "Maybe give these a spin before handing them off." Glad I did--one of the albums had lyrics I wasn't exactly keen on giving to a kid. Determined to support a small business (because, let's face it, every dollar counts more there), I went back to see about an exchange. Walking in, I braced myself for an awkward return situation. I explained my dilemma at the counter, saying I didn't want a refund but was open to suggestions. And that's when the magic happened. The guy at the register immediately hopped off and started digging through records to find something more suitable. Then, the owner joined in--tag-teaming the search like Billy Taylor and Quincy Jones putting together a jazz masterpiece. They didn't just recommend records; they curated options with the care of someone arranging the perfect piano solo. At one point, I half-expected Ray Charles to pop out from behind the counter, saying, "Now this is how you dig Baby!" They found me some Count Basie to keep things swinging, threw in some Modern Jazz Quartet for that cool, intellectual vibe, and made me rethink my entire approach to gift-giving. I walked out with four records instead of two, grinning like a kid at their first jam session. These folks didn't just help me solve a gifting problem; they brought me back to a time when crate-digging was an art form and music was the language of discovery. As a former DJ, I know the joy of unearthing hidden gems, and Poo-Bah's team shares that same passion and knowledge. If you're into music and crave a place where the love for it runs deep, Poo-Bah Record Shop is it. This place isn't just a record store; it's a soundtrack to the golden era of music and a reminder of why we love vinyl in the first place.

As one of the oldest independent bookstores in California, it has a really special charm. Inside, there's a wine bar, a coffee shop, and even a cute gift shop upstairs, which makes it easy to spend a lot of time browsing and relaxing. While I was there, I got to listen to an author present her book and answer questions, which added such a unique and memorable touch to the visit. The store was busy, and you could really feel how much people enjoyed being there. The layout is well organized, making it easy to find books by genre. Upstairs, there's a spacious children's section, which is great for families. I also loved the section featuring Orson Welles books and posters. It was a really cool and unexpected addition. Overall, Vroman's is more than just a bookstore as it's an experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

The staff on the floor are engaging and genuinely helpful when you're searching for a particular find. That said, my experience selling books was disappointing. The process felt impersonal, and the seller/owner was not particularly engaging. One example: I brought in a brand-new book that originally cost $40 and was offered only a $1 store credit. I understand used bookstores have to make a profit, but the experience left me feeling like my books would have been better off in a friend's library. Great place to browse and buy, but I would lower expectations if you're planning to sell.

As far as price goes...it's very hard to say. The variety of items is so large, that I'm hard pressed to say whether what's on sale is priced reasonably or not. Definitely a place to explore for an hour.
