Arthur is a great guy. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for (radio, subwoofer, and amp). Gave me the best price and did a great job on the installation. He even gave me a free high quality auxiliary cable because he had to stop work on my car for 20 minutes to talk to another customer. Did a quality job and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here and will be back for any other audio needs. The work came with a 1 year warranty as well! read more

Art is one of the best in the business. He has been around for many years and I would never think of going elsewhere. From Honda's to Luxuries he knows the game. This is my second time coming to them for car audio related issue. I should have given them a five stars on my first visit, but it's never too late. Short side of the story. I had an issue with my sound system because I tampered with my amp and they were willing to diagnose it for 30 dollars. I had my sound system up and running again for 30 dollars. That's a bang for my buck. Later that day, i realized my speakers had interference. I came back and they gladly looked at it again and fixed it again. They were kind enough to take into consideration of the 30 dollars I've already spent and quoted me 70 dollars to have my system rewired and working again. By far the most knowledgeable workers there. I was so pleased with the service that I paid an extra 10 dollars, so 80 instead of 70 even though I'm on a tight budget. You can't go wrong with a family owned business. It's quality work with reasonable pricing. Will come back for future needs for car audio and alarm system needs. read more

New car, new system. This is now my 4th car that I have taken to Arthur and as always, he did an excellent job. He never pressures you to buy anything or to spend extra money just because....He does make recommendations based on the info you give him (what you are looking for, what your budget is ect,) and you should really consider what he says. Another thing is always happy to help if you are not quite happy with what you got, or if any problems come up. I've never left here unsatisfied. read more

Had a broken AUX dongle inside of my 08 Camry. Called and Arthur told me to come right in and he'll get it fixed up within 20 minutes. Got there and in 5 minutes he took it out and replaced it - 90 day warranty. Couldn't asked for better service. Highly recommend for those who has some trouble with car audios. read more

When I bought my car seven years ago I had a state of the art iPod hookup installed, which at that time meant it had the wide flat cable that plugged into the bottom of the iPod. Technology being the way that it is, the wide plug became obsolete within a few years as it didn't work on any new iPods (or phones for that matter). So for a few years I drove around without access to my music, thinking that I would have to shell out a bunch of money to upgrade my system. So I just listened to the radio. I finally decided to bite the bullet and took my car into Arthur. He said depending on the system, I might be able to just swap out cables. In ten minutes he had the dash opened up. The audio gods smiled down upon me and all I needed was a new cable! In ten more minutes everything was reassembled. Total cost $50. I should have done it years ago. The best thing about the experience was that Arthur could have told me that I needed new hardware and I wouldn't have known the difference. But he didn't because he is honest, unlike a lot of the unscrupulous people in the car audio world. I was so happy that I brought my other car in the next day to upgrade the sucky stock speakers. I asked for good low end speakers - I'm no audiophile - and he hooked me up for $175 installed. They sound soooooo much better. Arthur is the man. read more

It sucks when your auxiliary port doesn't work properly because when you're driving for a while, music is life. The auxiliary port in my Toyota Corolla had been temperamental for a while, but I dreaded the cost and time it would take to get it fixed. I asked a service person at Longo Toyota how much the repair would cost and I think he said $120 or something like that. He recommended that I go to a car audio repair place to get it done cheaper. So I checked Yelp and Google maps for a place, and this place has good reviews. I finally went in today, and Arthur replaced the port in about 20 minutes for $75. He's a nice, understated guy. I didn't think the repair could be done so quickly and so painlessly. He offers a 90 day guarantee (4 months if you're nice) so I feel even better. read more

My sister was having issues with her car radio, we went to Arthur to see if he could replace it. Rather than trying to sell us a new system he found the problem (the cigarette lighter was causing a short) and fixed the problem. He didn't charge us a dime. Arthur is very honest, I would gladly do business with his shop in the future. read more

Had my radio stolen and all the wires cut. Referred to Audio Crafters by my mechanic and stopped by. Arthur sized up the situation quickly, offered some alternatives and gave me a tremendous price. He said it would take 5-6 hours due to the rewiring work that had to be done but he was done in less than four. He also found that the amp was bad (which he fixed gratis). Clean, professional installation with better than factory installed results. read more

I have been doing all of my sound for my 1998 Honda Accord, First let's start by the owner Arthur a very knowledgable man as far as sound goes also very flexible as far as your budget. He gave plenty of options to choose from speakers to decks to what type of wire he was going to use! He actually showed me:) overall I was very impressed he does quality work! I have been going back ever since. He just did my trunk here is a pic! read more

Audio Crafters - My truck after installing Dynamat!!! Sounds superb!! - Car Stereo Installation Near Me - Pasadena, California

I started refurbishing a 92 Chevy Silverado, Art is great. The job was better then i could have imagined. Using the existing speakers he hooked up great system. I paid no where near what I thought it would be. I will always choose Audio Crafter's for my audio concerns. Thanks Art. Dale read more

Arthur did an amazingly clean installation of a backup camera and touchscreen radio on my Toyota FJ Cruiser. The touchscreen fits so perfectly into the dashboard that it looks like it was designed and installed by the factory. The rear-facing camera installation was similarly professional, and Arthur routed all the wiring through the correct electrical conduit in the truck. He installed the USB/Aux jacks in an existing unused switch blank. Now my iPhone talks to the radio via BlueTooth, and I can stream music, use maps, use the phone hands-free, etc. Arthur brought my old truck into the 21st century! read more

I'm very happy with the work Arthur did replacing the head unit built into my car with something more modern. Taking out the old unit to pop in a new one was not an easy job, but he made it look easy -- no seams, no mess! The one thing I will say (and this was absolutely NOT Arthur's fault) is if you replacing your old head unit with something newer, try to see how it functions in a real car if at all possible. My experience has been that the reviews will tell you about the audio quality, software quality, and features of a head unit, but they will not tell you about two things that are of every day importance - how long does the unit take to start up? Maybe you don't care, but I find this irritating as heck, and it can be very long (like 30s+) with modern units. - how bright is the screen? Especially in LA, with bright sunlight and you wearing sunglasses, the screen may just not be bright enough at some times of day, even when the brightness is cranked to the max. Overall I'm happy with my new unit (much more functional and reliable than the old head unit), but I do wish I'd taken time to research not just SW and features but also boot-time and screen brightness --- knowing what I know now, I might have made a different choice. (My choice was a Kenwood DMX7704S) read more

What I like best about Audio Crafters is that they are completely honest about what I needed in the way of replacement speakers. I would have paid a lot more for more expensive speakers but it would have been overkill. I have an older Lexus RX300 and have never liked the sound system. But thinking that the problem was the radio itself, I never did anything until I figured, "What the hell, either I buy new speakers and get better sound or I buy a new car." This was an experiment out of desperation. And thank God I decided to get new speakers first: $400 verses $40,000. AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN THE SOUND. Turns out the factory speakers are and always have been mediocre. If your sound system sucks like my did, most likely it's your factory speakers and not the amplifier in the cd / radio system. read more

Arthur installed a new Head Unit and Back-up camera in my 2013 Dodge Challenger, and it's perfect. It looks stock. No more cell-phone mounts, I use Waze directly in my head unit now. Arthur was able to keep my ipod (yes, I still use an ipod) input and transfer my SirusXM account over to the new unit, too. Arthur's rates were beyond fair, and he's an honest guy. Walked me through everything he was doing. He's fast, too. The whole thing was done in under three hours. Feels like a new car. Thanks, Arthur! Recommending you to a bunch of friends. read more

It's been 3 months since Arthur installed a new head unit in my old (but totally awesome) 4Runner. The unit is working great and everything has been perfect thus far. I had a great experience with Arthur. He is a straight shooter. He will ask you direct questions and give you direct answers. What more can you ask for? The whole installation process took about 1.5-2 hours on a weekday morning, which is probably the best time to schedule an installation with him. Also, there's a Jack in the Box across the street that you can use as a waiting room. Still not a fan of the Jumbo Jack, but they have refills for coffee. read more

Arthur not only hooked me up to the fullest- he also fixed all my issues that the other guy down the street messed up! (do not go to the guy down the street - horrible attitude & all around bad company) I wish I went to Arthur from the getgo!!! Arthur really is a true professional. His prices are fair and he really does good work. He's clean, leaves everything like how it was when you got there. I even had to come back to him 3 times for little things and he was cool about it. The things I came back to him for was not his fault. I have a convertible and I had to get it adjusted and when the mechanic did that my screen needed to be reset so it can flip up and down again. 3 times. I came Back while he was busy. He still made time. Arthur is a good guy. read more

This place is awesome. The owner gave me a quote and had my aftermarket reverse camera installed in a few hours. I went to a few other places in Pasadena and they said they either couldn't do it or had to order a part from the east coast and it would take a few days and they wanted $50-75 more. Audio Crafters had me in at 11 and out by 3pm and it looks like it came that way from the factory ! Super nice guy. Whoever gave him a 1 star didn't even bother to come in and get any work done. I highly recommend !! read more

Want the experiance of buying 11th street, downtown quality and buying experience - sans bums, beggers, crackheads, and those oh so yummy street hot dogs, this place has it. They seem to carry more of lower end brands. If you want something cheap to get you by, then sure. Get your Performance Acoustic amps and DHD subs, and Orion speakers here. I've only gone there once, and it really seems like they have no idea what sound quality is. Oh, if you want a ghetto bass system where you hear more buzzing then music, these guys know what to do. read more

I bought a stereo a few months back from Al & Ed's. Installed, it sounded crap, so I went back there & was told my speakers had blown & in order to get good sound I needed new speakers $650. I went to Audio Crafters & talked to Arthur. He agreed new speakers would be good, but also suspected that the stereo had not been wired in properly. He was really honest & helpful & also gave me a great deal. As suspected, the stereo had not been instaled properly at Al & Ed's. My stereo now sounds amazing! I totally recommend this place. read more

Went here for head unit and he gave me a great deal. My previous radio harness had a jungle of wires spread everywhere. He went at it right away and finished the job in under 20 mins. He even shared a story about how he used to have the same car I did. Art is the man. :) read more

So I heard this place was awesome. That may be the truth but one things for sure the guy who answers the phone (arthur?) is really rude. I called to ask for a quote he was getting irritated that I was asking questions. His tone was really annoying. He was irritated and was in a hurry. Im suprised a lot of people still go here. But then again a lot of people go to Walmart. =) Anyways I hope mr. arthur or his employees changes their attitude towards potential customers or to people in general. Im never going here. read more

Came to install a sub and amp into my car and it turned out great! Staff was very nice, MY BASS SLAPS NOW!!

I had my system installed by another place down the street and for 4 years had nothing but problems. Arthur revamped my system, switched out the eq, rewired where necessary, replaced the crappy sub I paid too much for, and tuned the entire package for me. The sound is impeccable now. It's like I was wearing fogged up glasses for years, and someone finally cleaned them so I could see. From classical to rock to electronica, my music sounds clear, clean, powerful, and balanced. Good price too, and great service. Highly recommended. read more

The CD player in my car went out and I figured I was better of buying a new one then getting the stock stereo fixed. I went in to AL and ED'S and not a "Hello" or "How can I help you". I left after 2 minutes. I ran on over to Audio Crafters and right away Arthur came out and helped me. I came back to my office to look up the stereo online and read the reviews. I also wanted to show my husband the stereo that I was thinking about buying. I ran back and as promised, Arthur gave me the price he quoted (a great deal) and he installed it rather quickly. It came out great! He was very kind and even showed me how to use my new system. I am going back again for my speakers!!! Thank you Arthur! read more

Arthur is a master and knows exactly what he is doing. I have a 1990 Mercedes-Benz 500SL that I was trying to get back to stock. The previous owner had an aftermarket head unit installed and changed the wiring. The car also had a weird electrical issue where open doors would affect the lighting and radio amp. Arthur was able to solve all the problems completely and the audio works perfectly. If you are looking for quality, precise, and honest work, this is the place to go for your audio needs. Thank you for all of your help, Arthur. read more

After reading all these reviews on Yelp I decided to give this place a try. I met Arthur and told him exactly what I wanted and he immediately started trying to sell me something else. He then became offended when i repeated exactly what i wanted. It became very awkward as I was taken back after he became so hostile. He did offer the best price, but I didn't want to deal with such erratic behavior and rudeness, so I took my business over to Al & Ed's up the street. I ended up paying $80 more, but at least I wasn't hassled and my installation came with a 1 year warranty. read more

I was looking for a shop to have a head unit and backup cam installed on my truck and a friend refered me to Audio Crafters. So I made an appointment and came in two days later. Arthur was the gentleman who helped me and the work he did was fantastic. He finshed installing everything very quickly and afterwards walked me through the installation procedure. I inspected his installation thoroughly, and the job was immaculate. Arthur secured the backup cam well, the headunit worked flawlessly, and I couldn't be happier with everything. The price for the service was affordable, and was cheaper than several other shops I called. Arthur is a honest gentleman and I highly recommend that you contact him if you need any audio work done on your car. read more

I purchased a Parrot Bluetooth module and found Audio Crafters through Parrot's website (they are an authorized installer). I arrived at 10:00 on Friday. Arthur and his staff made me feel right at home and were able to complete the job in less than two hours. They even gave me a ride back to my house! I did not have an appointment but I recommend one as they are quite busy. My components were sourced and imported from different parts of the EU. Arthur was able to overcome several technical hurdles and get everything to run in sync. My install looks flawless, my steering controls function, and I couldn't be happier. If you want technical expertise, professional work, and a fair price. Look no further than Audio Crafters. Thanks Again Guys! read more

The owner Arthur was exactly the person I was looking for to help me with my car. I have an older system installed in my Subaru and I thought I could troubleshoot it myself. Needless to say I made a mess of the wiring and blew a few fuses. I called Arthur and explained the situation. I made an appointment with him for Saturday morning. He took the time to listen to what I did and then proceeded to expertly troubleshoot and put my wiring back together. I was thinking my whole morning was going to be shot but Arthur got me back up and running in less than an hour. His hourly rate is very fair. There aren't many quality installers left and I'm glad I found Arthur. I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more
