Great install on my sub, but I had a joint in the car in my glovebox and it mysteriously went missing after my install. It's hard to write a bad review about a company that's been in the valley for so long, but that shouldn't be the excuse to do a poor job on a stereo installation. The installer called me in the middle of the job needing the "other" set of keys in order to program the stereo, then I left and had to take it back (the 1st time) because the speakers I. The door weren't harnessed and were bouncing around which they he'd the nerve to try and blame keys in the pocket as the reason for the noise. I left there and noticed the plastic underneath the steering wheel wasn't replaced properly and they left my hood unlatched. The second time I took it back (just a few days later), the driver side speaker wasn't working at all! They did fix the issues, however, the only time the owner didn't give me complete attitude was when I was handing her over $2k for the initial job! read more

With my car in an auto body shop I had decided to upgrade the system in it because it was so mismatched with the components and had some good stuff but the biggest parts like the Deck and subwoofer were just junk. Without my vehicle I told them year make and model they helped me pick out a great deck and a great amp / subwoofer combo and kept me within my price range of $1200 installed and everything. The only thing I was a little unsure about was the amp being 600w being big enough to push just the sub at 1200w I had 6 weeks to think about it and when I finally got my car back from the shop I took it directly the these guys where I had already purchased the deck and amp/sub combo. They took my car that day and before I left I asked about upgrading the amp to something bigger and I decided to go with a 1250 w. Memphis Audio instead of the 600w Boss amp but wasn't sure if that meant I loose out on the combo price I was given for the amp/ subwoofer from 6 weeks earlier. They totally worked with me on it was still a good deal and even tho it jumped my price by $700 it was well worth it just as the said it would be and the sound quality exceeded what I had hoped for the extra cost was well worth it These guys know what they are talking about super friendly and pros had my car back the next day and writing this review 4 months later so it's accurate. read more

I literally came in once to another shop down the street for a $10 aux cord, and the guy came back with "why don't you just replace your entire radio?" Come on dude... needless to say, I walked out of that place immediately. Luckily, that wasn't the case here at Audio Addiction. I needed a new radio for a used vehicle that my dealership had because the CD changer in it wasn't working. I walked in, looked at their selection and within 2 days, the radio was installed and the car was even delivered to me so the guy can show me how to work it! After going to both Audio Addiction and Advanced Car Stereo, it was a very easy decision. I was PROMPTLY taken care of from the get go at AA where a ACS said, "I'll be right with you." and I was left for over 25 minutes waiting before I just walked out in disappointment. Enough about the bad, let's get to the great: Ray and Linda helped me when I was first scheduling an appointment and were VERY helpful. I'm in sales and I commended Ray on not trying to up-sell me and rip me off. He was very easy to talk to and ended up helping me pick out a great installation system for the subs and amp I already had. In fact, I called him out on my "great" wire that I paid half the price for - he showed me the difference of Chinese "8 gauge" compared to American... To say the least, I sent my wire back and bought new wire from Audio Addiction. Then, a week later, I showed up for my installation appointment. At first, I was a little hesitant because Ray and Linda weren't in but I spoke with Anthony and his father about what was going on, my expectations, etc. They were just as friendly and Anthony went out of his way to help me while I waited for the installation. Not only was it done faster than I expected, but it sounded absolutely amazing. At the end when I heard them testing it, I said out loud, "Is that MY car?" It was... and I'm stoked. I work with people all day and there's nothing more important to me than getting a good deal with great service; Audio Addiction had exceeded my expectations by far. I was looking around for estimates to replace my speakers, amp and add a bigger sub to replace my stock stereo system without replacing the head unit. I went in to look at Audio Addiction's inventory. Went in with my mind set on JL components and ended up going with JBL components. They both sounded great but JBL's had a bit more clarity. Devon told me they were both great speakers but it really came down to the listener's taste. Didn't try to upsell me on it, just let the demo of the various speakers do the talking. Devon was nice enough to give me two different estimates (one to upgrade slightly to see if it would improve the sound enough to be satisfactory and another for a full blown upgrade). Once again, Devon didn't try to upsell me on replacing my rear speakers. He even told me it wouldn't make a difference from the driver's seat (he didn't know I'm particular about the sound even for people I have in the back seat lol). I had a particular price in mind for the price for the total package (upgrades, install, parts, etc.). The first quote for the slight upgrade was well below what I was expecting to pay. The full blown upgrade to replace everything was a bit over what I was expecting but considering everything I had gotten done I was very surprised. When they told me they could have everything done in about 4 hours (I got lucky and it was a slow day) I just went for it. Everything was up to OEM standards, the install is super clean and the sound is amazing now. I used to have to crank my stereo up to 30 to get a decent volume and now going up to 10 is pretty loud and even when I crank it, it all sounds very clean. One issue that did come up was that the sub I was getting didn't fit so Devon suggested another sub that actually sounded better and cleaner and taking up space still isn't an issue. And they were nice enough to discount it enough to get the price pretty close to the original sub I wanted installed. And that was through no fault of their own and yet they still tried to get the price down to the original quote as close as they could. That's great customer service. Devon and the staff are great and knowledgeable (there was a lady there also, I think the owner or manager(?) who was also great and very helpful in making sure I was being taken care of. They made something that could've been extremely stressful into such a relaxing experience and they delivered with the results. read more

Long story short I had issues with another company that installed a stereo system in my 2020 Silverado. Stopped by yesterday to get pricing for my Rove Dash Cam. I supplied the hardwire kit and I spoke to Lee who quoted a very fair price and I told him I'd be back today at 10 AM. I was a few minutes late, sorry. I gave Lee the hardware kit and he took my car around back and in about an hour the job was done. I am so happy I discovered Audio Addiction. I had a touch stereo with navigation, Sirius radio, a back-up camera, and amp/speaker installed into my car by Audio Addiction. Within a few days, the stereo would short and power off. I called Audio Addiction during morning hours (no answer) so I left a message, but did not receive a call back. I assumed the stereo was a dud, and since I did not hear back from Audio Addiction and really needed music restored in my vehicle, I had a different shop take a look. I was incorrect, the stereo was not a dud, it was shorting due to sloppy installation. The tech explained that when he removed the front console to expose the stereo wiring, the wires were in total disarray. In non-stereo technical terms, he explained that the wires were left long (not cut down), nothing was zip tied in an organized fashion(wires were just everywhere), and that there should have been more than one ground wire placed (in order to properly handle the amount of power feeding to all of the additional accessories, including the car stereo and speaker box in the trunk). So I was advised to have another ground wire placed- this stopped the stereo from over surging and powering off. With that being said, I truly believe the poor installation by Audio Addiction is now interfering with other electrical processing in my car, like when I turn on my A/C; I notice a shift in continuous air power and then it powers down. And I think it all stems from the sloppy wiring work originating from the stereo installation. Audio Addiction did finally return my call, saying I had called a phone number that they no longer use as their main phone; but when I explained that the stereo short circuited because there were not enough ground wires, the owner did not even seem to acknowledge the inconvenience or poor decision making by one of his technicians, or at the very least, apologize. I did not even press the issue. As soon as the stereo started short circuiting right after initial install, I took it elsewhere because I got the impression this shop would make excuses and give me the run around. Hence the reason I took the loss and went elsewhere to have the electrical wiring "improved". read more

I would highly recommend this shop for any of your car stereo/electronic needs. They do it all and for a very fair price.
