About a year ago I visited this dealership. At that time I was still in the shopping around mode, but really I could have saved myself the next couple of months of looking around. It was love at first sight. Nothing else compared. I was hooked. I had found my soul mate. But I digress....there are 2 main aspects of any dealership - sales and service. The first is okay. The second is outstanding. 5 stars for the service department. I know they will take good care of my baby. They always take my list of issues (albeit a small list) seriously. If I say I have a rattle somewhere they will find it and fix it which is no small feat since it never rattles while there. Because, of course, the car never makes the same noise once in the presence of the repair guy. The courtesy wash is also a nice touch. 3.5 stars for the sales department. I made a couple of visits before my purchase. My sales guy was always friendly and patient. His manager did the typical "if you buy today we'll do this but this is good for today only"; however, once we decided to move forward they honored all of the "today only" deals which was cool. They had the usual doc fee which I knew would be added to the price. After all, this wasn't my first car buying experience so I asked up front how much it was. Then the nitrogen issue came up. I agree with Rip C. that it soured the whole experience. We had been told about how they put nitrogen in the tires and how great that is, but no one ever mentioned that we were going to have to pay extra for it. Now I know it's only $150, but at this point it became a matter of principal. We refused to pay for it. We had already agreed upon a price. They also refused to waive the fee. Ultimately, they decided they would take the nitrogen out and fill the tires with regular air. Hilarious. That was fine with us though as the benefits of nitrogen are negligible. We were considering going to Phoenix for the purchase, but I'm glad we stayed local. Overall, my experiences have been pleasant. read more

With COVID-19, I sent an email and stated which car I would like to see, a used Toyota. I specifically stated that if the vehicle was not available, please let me know and I also provided my cell number. I was informed that the vehicle was there and in great shape; I was provided a contact person and an appointment time. I arrived a few minutes early, no one was wearing masks and social distancing was not in place, to be told that the person I was to meet with was with someone else but another would be with me in a minute. I waited over 20 minutes. Finally a guy shows up to tell me that there is something wrong with the vehicle I wanted to see but he would get me another to look at - surprise, it cost more. I waited for 20 minutes and he didn't return so I got up to leave when another guy stopped me and said he would contact the one I had been talking to. After all was said and done, I decided to purchase the vehicle. It was very late and I said I forgot to check the windows and sunroof; he assured me they worked and said the key was locked up. The next day my son went to pick up the vehicle, he left the dealership and got to the Circle K gas station (.2 miles from the dealership) as the gas tank was only half full, and the sunroof wasn't working. He filled up and went back to the dealership only to be told that the vehicle was sold and he would have to wait for 30 days for the warranty to go into effect - which only covers the engine, etc. I contacted the salesman and he reiterated that we would have to wait for the warranty - I again asked doesn't that only cover the engine; no response. I also asked if there was another key as we were only provided one key. I was told they would look; again, no response so I assume there was only one key. Once this dealership gets your money, they have no interest in customer service... actually, it appears they never did since looking back at how we were treated. Good thing - I was looking to purchase a new Audi SUV for myself, and I did - I just didn't go back to this dealership. I learned my lesson the first time dealing with Chapman Audi. read more

My roommate is away on business a lot, so I make sure to take his A6 in to Audi when an issue arises. Despite this not being my car, I get top star treatment from our service person, Jill. And most recently from Dan because Jill was away on holiday. It is comforting to arrive, have paperwork prepared, a loner ready, and have genuine interactions. Being a recent graduate and also hesitant about my first solo car purchase, Neil really helped me find exactly what I was looking for and was extremely helpful along the process. I was used to living like a college kid for 8 years (darn grad school), so I wasn't used to having a real salary, but he helped me find a certified pre-owned 2013 that was just what I was looking for AND within my price range and budget. Definitely recommend going here. I test drove some other cars at Toyota and the whole experience at Audi was much more comfortable and "no-pressure". I absolutely love the car, even though I test-drove other new Audis, once I drove the one I ended up purchasing, I didn't want to get back in my little dinky Scion TC, so it was a must-buy! Cesar, my service advisor was professional and courtesy not only in person but via our email exchanges. He explained the service I received and informed me of a problem that was found with one of my tires and contacted me first about the additional charge to see if I was fine with it; which I was. I took my Audi A8 to this dealership for service after my MMI screen failed. I have to say I was disappointed and felt that there is some dishonesty occurring in their service department. I have the Audi care select package and they failed to realize this. They told me I have to replace the arm bushings and tork rod and it is no longer under warranty but I complained about this issue when my car was under warranty and at the time they said this was a common problem and they did not require replacement!! Seriously, Audi, you need to start paying attention to the service departments at your dealerships!! Very unfortunate. read more

This last visit was for regular maintenance, Jill, my Service Advisor was very prepared and organized upon my arrival. She let me know they just got backed up and were running a little late so instead of my planned wait for my car, she set up a loaner car for me to use. They give me a shuttle ride to the airport and allow me to leave the car there while it's worked on. Excellent customer service. I made an appointment online the day before (so easy) to have my oil changed. I brought in my Audi the next day and met with Cesar, my service advisor. He was very courteous and professional. He also informed me that there was a recall on an engine part, which was covered under the warranty and replaced at no additional cost. At my request, Cesar also provided me with a detailed maintenance schedule. It took approximately 1.5 hours for the oil change, part replacement and car wash. This was relatively quick in my opinion, and was not a problem as their waiting room is equipped with complimentary wifi, coffee, water, snacks, etc. Definitely a pleasant experience overall. read more

Setting up the 10K service was unpleasant, had to call four times and was told different things about a loaner car each time. Service manager was civil when he called me back but clearly annoyed that I asked for a loaner (I thought that was normal as I have always had loaners from BMW and Mercedes on my last few cars, on every service), he also tried to make me feel badly that I bought the new Audi at an out of town dealer - said he had recordings of all my calls and would review them (is this a Chapman policy? To record customer convos and not tell them?). They came up with a loaner, but I feeling uncomfortable about even dropping my car off, like the service will be done poorly as they clearly don't want me as a customer. I buy a new car every 2 years, I always have, this was the 1st time I've bought from a non-Tucson dealership. I've bought at least 15 cars from Tucson dealers. So far they are making sure I don't buy one from them on my next round. I only buy from dealers who make me feel like they are glad I am a customer, regardless if it's service or a sale. I am a cash buyer, and feel uncomfortable with this service, and also feel they don't understand why I am frustrated (4 people, said 4 different things). I may change my review after the service if things change today. I love giving good reviews, and hope they turn it around. Have had great experiences at other dealerships in Tucson, always. Hopefully I am in a position to change this review experience after my service. read more

Wow. I don't even know where to begin. Impressed with the certified pre-owned vehicle itself; the exact opposite of impressed with sales staff. Dear Audi of Tucson, We know that you've been working very hard to be noticed as a luxury car brand, especially with a newer generation of driver. I've noted your product placement in movies with amazing car chases for over ten years. We get it. We drove it, and we believe. Love the car. Can't think of anything we didn't like about it. So why are we not buying it? Because of the extremely fungible and slippery (nonexistent?) price from literally one day to the next, the BS "We'd be taking a loss" line, the "Yesterday someone put a deposit on it, but we'd still sell it to you." Do you think since yesterday, when you refused to even discuss anything over the sticker price, that I came in today to engage in a fake bidding war to pay MORE for the vehicle? No. We came in with the 2014 Mercedes we looked at yesterday that the extremely motivated Mercedes salesperson insisted we test out for 24 hours, which, contrary to your assertion that they're "apples and oranges," is a direct class competitor, at a lower price. Also, even though I know you're probably making up the "someone has a deposit on it" story, do you think we'd be impressed that you'd sell a car from under someone who, in good faith, placed a deposit? In everything you said and did, we felt like you completely lacked integrity and even a modicum of style. There's another review on here explaining a negative sales experience, and ours was extremely similar. Also, you never. ever. ever. ignore the girlfriend. Never. You don't pretend to not hear her questions, Robb, and The Girlfriend doesn't like having to ask twice. Also, when you have a young professional in your sales office looking for their first "luxury" car, maybe you want to create a lifetime of loyalty to your brand. You can probably infer that their salary is only going up with time, and that there will be more expensive auto purchases in their future. This review is for the service department. I bought my Audi at a dealership back in CT...I hated going to the dealership back there because I always felt like they were trying to upsell me on a service I didn't need. I was fortunate to have a trusty European mechanic as a family friend to double check the necessity of things out of my warranty coverage. I still have the convenience of that friend but 2,500 miles away. When I had my first trip to the service department I had a woman take care of me...I didn't get the feeling like she cared about my air conditioner going out in the middle of a 110 degree day. I felt like I was another blah customer. When it went out the second time I freaked out...I drove right over there and Dan Paris was the service person available...I am so glad it was him. He gave me a loaner car and told me he would be in touch. From then on, I have seen Dan for all my services and car troubles. The service I receive from Dan has been exceptional...he has also gained my trust. He has helped me to prioritize the importance of different services based on safety and cost. I know you pay a premium at the dealership but to me its worth it...only because of Dan. If you ever need service from the Porsche/Audi dealership make sure you ask for Dan! read more

I live in Scottsdale and was able to purchase a certified pre-owned Audi from Neal Brown who was an amazing sales person. He drove the car half way so I could see it, and then delivered to me in Scottsdale and explained every detail of how to work everything in the vehicle! Audi of Tucson exceeds my expectations in professionalism and honesty. I brought my older audi into another "Private" repair place on Speedway, they kept it for several days and never fixed anything. When I brought it to Dan @ Audi of Tucson, he took care of the problem, explained what was done wrong and made sure it was fixed right, in the time frame he promised and then followed up with us to make sure things were good. Their devotion to doing things right and treating their customers with a friendly and professional attitude is amazing. I have a new audi as well and I wont let anyone other than Dan and the team at Chapman Audi of Tucson touch it. I would advise anyone with an Audi to work with this dealer. read more

the service department is 5 star ( no free lunch you will pay 30-40% more for maintenance items brakes, tires, batteries, etc., but you'll get a nice loaner and the hassle is minimal) , the management and sales team, like every other dealer i've known, will squeeze until they've gleaned that every buck has been gotten. such as, withholding $500-$1k (even on wholesale pricing) minimum on your trade, introduce silly pathetic additional prices such as filling the tires with nitrogen gas rather than air for $100-$200 additional, an option you must agree to or the deal is off. once you make the deal and go back to ask a, how do I do this or that on the audi I just bought, the sales team attitude is, the deal's over, figure it ought for yourself. If you want to buy a low mileage depreciated hi end luxury car, they have them....just don't think you'll get a fair deal. read more
