I swore I'd never write a negative Yelp review, but after our experience with this dealership I have no choice. I implore any consumer who wants to buy or lease an Audi to go ANYWHERE other than to this dealership. A quick recap of what they did to us: Checked credit, quoted a price, wrote up the lease agreement, took our deposit. Told us they needed two hours to prep car and get bank approval. Called us back, said everything was in order. We went back in, they had us add the car to our insurance policy. Brought us to the car to walk us through the car's bells and whistles (even went so far as to connect our Bluetooth during this process), handed us 2sets of keys. They then walked us to finance managers office to sign final paperwork and lo and behold they wanted more money upfront and changed the monthly lease price. SEVEN HOUR ORDEAL!! Pure duplicity. Calling Audi corporate to report this as soon as we recover from what is undoubtedly the biggest scam operation we have ever encountered in any industry. read more

Bought a car from here 3 weeks ago but the sales associate did not provide the spare key with the sale because he said it was in the mechanics tool box. Followed up multiple times in which the sales associate Andre Cruz told me the tech was sick and couldn't make it into the shop. This went on for 1.5 weeks and I haven't heard back from him. I've reached out multiple times but have yet to hear back from Andre. This is unacceptable, he promised the spear key (which costs $400) along with an AMI cable in which we've received neither and have not heard from him. Another employee of Audi lynbrook just told me that Andre was lying about the whole mechanic being sick and that the previous owner of the car had not returned the spare key and that they will have to order a new one. Dealerships shouldn't be hiring associates who make things difficult for their customers and blatantly lie. read more

I'm surprised to see this many good reviews of this place. Then i scrolled lower, and starting seeing all the 1 stars, these are more accurate. There is way to much of a run around. Maybe some of the staff are good sales people, but the person i dealt with was not. I'm not going to list a name, although they were in fact friendly, much more so than their manager. The issue at hand is that i sat there for 2-3 hours, without even understanding what is going on. My request was simple; I'm interested in the Q7, thus I wanted to understand the packages that make sense for me (i still dont know and will have to research online..). Additionally, I wanted to get some kind numbers I can look at and compare against the other SUV thats on my list. I hate dealing with back and forth negotiation, so I asked them to come forward with their best. I can respect whatever that is, even if it means sticker price is the best. Unfortunately this is where things starting going south, and I blame this on their salesmanship. This also includes their manager. They must have wasted almost 1 hour of my time giving me the runaround and "trying to find what works best for me" all while repeating several times that "we dont even have any q7's". I'm not quite sure what their strategy was, or if they even had one. All i know is that I went in there, expecting to come out knowing more. Do Not buy a car from here they are over priced and try to get more money out of you. We went there to get a lease price on an Audi A3 the salesmen was ver y nice and spent a lot of time with us. We had already had a quote given to us by another dealer but this one was close to home and figured that it would easier. After we decided on what model and color we go through the dance. We where quoted 150 more a month then the other dealer. when I said that was not going to happen they tried to get more money out of us to put down to lower the payments. I would never but a car from these people they are out to rip you off. Quite possibly the WORST car buying experience my parents and I have ever had. Avoid this car dealership at all costs! I was in the process of leasing a 2017 Audi Q3. I put my deposit down for the lease 9 days ago and was told I had to wait for the car to be shipped from Spain and it could arrive at any time before the end of the month. To my surprise I got a phone call a week later at 5:30PM that I needed to pick the car up that night (mind you the dealership closes at 9PM and I was still at work in Suffolk County). I managed to negotiate picking the car up today and boy was I in for a surprise... I was told to arrive at 11AM to pick up the car, but when I arrived, none of the people I was told to ask for were scheduled to arrive until noon and my car was still out getting washed and fueled up. When the car finally did arrive, a quick walk through revealed that there was a 4 inch scratch on the passenger side door, something sticky and red on the passenger leather seat, and bird droppings on the hood (which the salesman tried to scratch off with his fingernail). They also conveniently forgot to install the wheel locks we had negotiated into the price. The salesman first offered to let us take the car home and return at a later date to fix the scratch and install the wheel locks, but we managed to convince him to do it while we were there. Before signing the lease agreement or fixing the aesthetic issues we had noticed, the salesman insisted we sit in the car, go through the features, and even paired my phone with the Bluetooth. He then took us to his desk where we spent the next hour sitting alone and waiting to speak to the business manager to finish the lease agreement. Our salesman returned to break the news that they had made a mistake transferring my insurance policy from my previous car and needed to resolve the issue with Geico before anything else. Once that was finished, we were left alone again for a half hour. When the business manager finally did arrive to go through our paperwork, the REAL fun began. Essentially, we were told that my monthly lease payments were actually going to be about $120 higher than we initially agreed because the dealership had to include tire, scratch/ding, and Audi service coverage. If I refused the coverage, I ran the risk of finding myself owing thousands of dollars at the end of my lease--basically, I was being forced into an obscenely high lease payment that was much higher than the car was even worth. What made the situation even worse is that we asked about this exact thing when we first negotiated the price and were told not to worry about it. After an hour of back and forth between the business manager and the general manager, the best they could offer me was a $500 deductible on a future Audi purchase once my lease was up in 39 months or they could lower my payment if I put more money down. I refused both because they were just as ridiculous as the increase in my lease payment. After a nearly 4 hour ordeal, I refused to sign the lease agreement and asked for my plates to be removed from the new car and for my deposit to be refunded. They couldn't guarantee that I would receive a refund unless the car I was supposed to take was sold in the future...TBD on that... THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM OPERATION OUT THERE. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Not surprisingly, they're owned by Atlantic. I will be contacting Audi directly to complain about the sketchy operations at this dealership. Do yourself a favor--if you want a REAL luxury experience, go somewhere else, because I've gotten better service at a Honda dealership. read more

Recently, I've been in the market for a new Audi. After a terrible experience with a national dealer, it was suggested to me that I check my options in the Tri-State area. I found a beautiful A3 which was nicer, newer, had less miles and cost less than the one I had wanted. A perfect find! I called up Audi Of Lynbrook and requested more information about the car. I was then transferred to Jason Chance; a Brand Specialist on the sales team. Throughout the entire process, Jason was professional, courteous, personable and informative. As I was out of state, he provided a virtual tour of the vehicle, highlighting every feature, and made every effort to make the process as seamless and painless as possible. He handled everything beautifully, and provided frequent updates to keep me in the loop. Unfortunately, in the end, we were unable to make the deal happen, but there is no doubt that when I am able to revisit this decision, I know who to call. Thank you, Jason, for all your hard work, and for exemplifying the extraordinary standards one expects from the Audi name. I hope we are able to work together again soon! read more

This place is deceptive beyond words and Audi should immediately revoke their dealership. If you are a consumer...avoid this place at all costs!!! I bought a Certified A5 from this dealership and since I was from out of state they took $250 for the cost to register my car, in my home state, but promised to refund the balance between the $250 and the registration, which was $50. They owed me $200 but when I inquired to the payment, I was told they were keeping it as an "administrative fee". Deceptive crooks! Now, they sold me the car Certified in March of 2013, but now that I am looking to trade that car in on another Audi product (at another dealer), I am being told that the car is worth far less than trade in value because my car had been in an accident in January of 2013, which I have confirmed with Carfax. Audi does not permit a car to be sold as Certified, if it does not have a clean Carfax history. This dealership intentionally and deceptively sold me a Certified Audi product, despite knowing full well that it had been previously in an accident. I am currently working with Audi USA to get retribution for the deceptive practices of this dealership. However, if you are reading this review and considering buying or leasing an Audi product from this dealership, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This dealership has proven themselves to be deceptive to the point of criminal. Avoid them at all costs. read more

Terrible experience. I honestly do not even know where to start. I bought my Audi on March 20 with Jason. Jason did not disclose the fact the car was faulty (airbag light was on and it was previously used as a rental car). The car was supposed to be ready in a few days (23rd) after purchasing but he called an hour ahead of time from when I was supposed to pick up the car to tell me it is not ready since the airbag light was on and they need to fix it. The second date (29th) I was supposed to pick it up the same thing happened. Finally I was able to pick up the car on the 30th. Once I picked up the car things were good until the airbag light came back on at the end of April. I again messaged Jason and he stated no problem he will get me a service appointment and loaner. When got back to me he stated I will need to wait a month for a loaner/service appointment. My airbags are faulty and I just bought the car and you'd like me to wait a month?? Right away someone from the service department called me letting me know they will have a loaner ready for me earlier, I appreciated that. I went to give my car and they gave me the loaner. A month later, after multiple phone calls back and forth I finally got my car back. They were saying how they were waiting for completely new parts from the main dealership and needed Audi permission/help to fix the issue. The car when picked up was in terrible condition, the car stunk from inside and there was so much dust on the outside. When asked why the condition was this way they stated I needed to tell them if I wanted my car washed prior to it being returned. I have brought my previous cars to many services departments (Mercedes/Jaguar), my car was always returned to me cleaned and definitely not stinky! I was also just very happy that the light was off and I can enjoy my new car now with no worries. Was I wrong! Again, the light came back on and now I just feel hopeless. I have not one good person to call there to actually understand my frustration and help me resolve this issue. read more

Before going into the Audi Lynbrook dealership I had an idea of what I wanted in my car: GPS, back-up camera, bluetooth, leather in addition to the price range that I would spend on the car etc. Although the Audi dealership in Lynbrook didn't have the car I wanted in their lot at that time, within a day or two they were able to find the exact type of car. It took between one and two weeks for the title to come in from the bank which was holding on to the title. Overall, had a good experience buying a pre-owned car from Audi Lynbrook. read more

I took my 2010 Audi A5 to Audi of Lynbrook to have it serviced back in May 2016 for a routine oil change and to have it tuned up. I chose this dealership because of its close proximity to the train since I work in Manhattan. I was the only owner of this car and it only had 37k miles on it. It ran great and never had any issues with it until they touched it. A week after I picked it up after the tune up, one of the engine lights came on. I took it in the next day and I was told 2 of the coils on the spark plugs were bad. I had purchased an extended warranty when I bought the car so it did not cost me anything to repair except for the deductible and sales tax on the work. Two weeks later as I was traveling to Hershey Park for a soccer tournament with my daughter on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend the engine lights came on some where in New Jersey, 90 miles from home. The car is shaking and I barley have any power to accelerate. I begin calling nearby Audi dealers as I continue driving but no one was picking up the phone. I then had to get off the highway and get gas as the car went from a full tank to a quarter of a tank in approx 90 miles. After filling up the car the car would not start. Now I'm stuck in the middle of New Jersey and not sure what to do I call Audi of Lynbrook a speak with the service consultant I worked with the last 2 times I was there and tell him of my situation. He recommends that I have the car towed back to him and he can give me a loaner. Being Memorial Day weekend I was not really interested in going back to Long Island and getting stuck in traffic coming back, I had the car towed back to Lynbrook and got a rent a car and continued on my trip. Fast forward to Wed or Thurs I get a call and I'm told that 2 of my cylinders went bad but the good news is that there was a service bulletin issued on this problem and there would be no cost to me. I said if this is a known issue I should at least be able to get reimbursed for my tow of which my insurance company covered the first 20 miles. I was told since this occurred after the 4 year warranty they will not cover it. These issues started happening when they started touching my car. Even after they fixed the car it was not running smoothly. I have since gotten rid of the car and purchased a BMW. I refused to purchase another Audi after this experience and beware having your car serviced here. read more

I was doing some initial legwork on leasing a new car and had been going to car dealers all week. I called Audi of Lynbrook to discuss a Q5 I wanted to lease and the woman on the phone said "we are leasing Q5's now for $465 a month with the $ I want to put down. I get to the dealer and I meet with a sales person, and she says to me that its $465 with like $6K down. I told her that is not what the woman on the phone said and the sales person said "the receptionist was just reading the add" clearly only the selected buzz words from the add to get me in. Fine, that is her job, all good. When I spoke to the sales person I told her what I wanted and quoted some other prices from other dealers/similar brands. I told her that i was not ready to buy today, but doing some initial work and ready to buy in about week. She immediately shut down and said I cannot give you any pricing until you're ready to buy. Seemed strange since this is probably my 7th car leased and I've been out all week getting preliminary information and they were the first dealer to refuse soft quotes. I told her I was ready to lease in a few days and that I need to weigh my options. She said prices change, and when you're ready to buy come see her. I told her she isn't really giving me an incentive to want to come back (I guess the brand is so strong they don't need the business). She said she spoke to her "manager" who would not come out and see me and said when I'm ready we can talk. I thought the behavior was completely unprofessional, especially after being miss guided on the phone to get me in the door. Bottom line is, if that is how our initial talks began I can only imagine what would happen once we get into financing etc... I'm still looking for a car and will not be getting it from Lynbrook Audi. Stay away from this place as it seems they are highly trained in scamming! Any other dealers you can recommend, let me know. My experience with Audi Lynbrook was a breeze. I walked in and already knew what I was looking for (2017 Q3) and as I walked to the receptionist's desk, I was immediately greeted by Coldit Thompson. We chatted a bit and got familiar and subsequently took the Q3 for a test drive. Before discussing any monetary specifics, he thoroughly explained the features of the car and showed me what was included with each package (premium, premium plus and prestige). Once I knew which package/features I wanted, Saheed Alabi came over and introduced himself and the 3 of us discussed numbers. Prior to my visit at the dealership, I did a ton of research on my own and was a bit apprehensive about this location because of some of the reviews I read on here but I have to say my experience was seamless. Not only did they come in with a number slightly under what I expected/wanted to pay (I kept this to myself obviously) but they threw in the little extras that make all the difference. These two gentlemen were awesome, extremely knowledgeable, thorough and really pleasant/personable. There was no point in time where I felt like they were trying to dupe me or steal my money. They walked me through the process step by step, took care of all of the administrative tasks and were attentive to any questions or concerns I had. I ended up walking out of the dealership with my Q3 (which I literally picked up the morning after signing my contract). I cant speak for all of the salesmen (women) at this locations but these guys were great. I am very happy with the service I received from Coldit and Saheed a would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a fair deal on an Audi. read more

Brought my certified ore owner Q5 in for mandatory audi care service. I was told this service would be about 2 1/2 hours. 6 hours later i had to call to find iut status if the simole oil change. Basically it took all day.they have a valer service to return your car to you with Audi care. Do not use!!!! This is where i get a call that tje backed up and crashed ifnoring the back ip sensors they blare warnings and back up camera So for a 2 1/2 hour mandorty oil chamge i am without my new car for 3 days and counting Audi is great atlantic auto group not so much. So for all the ranting and raving of our salesman and sales manager about how awesome this year end sale was, I was called and offered the same deal on 1/1/2016. Poor high pressure sales tactics were not believable from the beginning because its very legible that the sale ended on 1.4.16...not 12/31/15... Apparently, this place sells enough cars that it doesnt have to pay attention to the details. I know im a tough customer because i see and expect more than most, but buyer beware of Audi Lynbrook, they dont need your business, which is why there is no parking for potential customers and poorly dressed salesmen. This review is late but as the saying goes better late than never. The 2 stars are for the salesman's effort. I purchased a pre-owned Q5 from this place back in November 2017. I am a busy hard-working person and wanted to treat my self for my birthday. It was long over due that I do something nice for myself. The mistake I made, was to share that info with them. They are a bunch of slick cheats and the poor salesman didn't have much of a say. I hated the fact that he kept running towards the back several times, back and forth, back and forth, to make a deal for me as though "they" couldn't come out and talk to me directly to my face like honest normal people. This act alone implies they are shady. Now, let me say, yes I like my car no doubt, but I had to persist and argue to maintain the deal/quote we made in a discussion I had with them the day before. I had a witness with me who heard everything they were promising me. On that day, all the numbers were worked out with the manager, (Sandra I believe is her name) I told her my budget, yet, the next day when I went to finalize the paperwork and pickup the car, Sandra was not there, they changed the terms of the deal on me and said absolutely NOTHING. Thank God I caught it!!! And, I called them out on it, that night I ended up leaving the dealership close to midnight, yes, close to midnight. Why didn't I just walk away you might ask? Well, because I despise shady, slick, dishonest people, who tries to cheat honest hardworking people to pad their own pockets. The typical sour dealership experience ensued here. The girl in the Finance Office was so fake and arrogant and she was the one doing all the dirty work, she was the main person I had to go to bat with because she placed documents before me to sign while talking me through the signing process as though it was the same deal as the day before and it was not. I strongly believe she was trying to distract me. Imagine, the interest rate had supposedly changed overnight by a point or two and would you believe she said nothing to me. Again, thank God I caught it, and it was at that point I lost it. I kept asking her why didn't you tell me that the rate was changed, don't you think this was important enough for me to know??? She got pissed because I caught her in a lie and that was the impetus for the shady men in the back to come running out to finally assist. That was one of the worst nights in my life, and to add insult to injury, it was my birthday -totally ruined. There is a lot more I could share here, about things that were said back and forth between us, but I am certain you get the drift. I called into Audi of Lynbrook to inquire about a specific vehicle earlier this month. A gentleman by the name of Gustavo let me know there are currently no allocations for the vehicle I was looking for. Since then I've been receiving phone calls from a 516-405-6537 at least 2x per week. When I pick the call up it immediately drops or hangs up. I call the number back and it routes me to Audi of Lynbrook. I Thought I'd call in and speak to someone who an give me some clarity on this issue. I spoke to someone who stated they were the sales manager. I explained the situation and he said it couldn't possibly be from them because they don't have an automated system for calls. I explained that I'm routinely getting these calls and when I return them, I get Audi of Lynbrook. I offered proof of the calls and also asked to speak to someone who might have more knowledge as to what's going on. He responded by saying "I'm the manager and I know a lot". He was extremely rude and told me " You won't be getting a car from here. How's that?" He said his name was Mike when I asked but I wouldn't doubt that's not his name. I think he realized how unprofessional he was being. Can't fathom how someone with such terrible customer service etiquette could be promoted to Sales manager. Very disappointed with his behavior but he was right about 1 thing, I'll never get a vehicle from Audi Lynbrook. read more

If you are bringing your car in for service I highly recommend asking for Sue in the Service the Dept. She is extremely reliable and is always available. If you email her or call her she is extremely responsive and can adapt to anyone's changing schedules. She was able to help me in a very timely manner knowing I had to leave work to bring the car in. She understood this and tried to accommodate in any way she could while handling 3 other customers. The other customers were extremely impressed as well! My review is a bit late lol but I just happened to look at theses reviews because my lease is up soon and I am considering leasing an Audi and wanted to see if things have changed at this dealership since my last experience. Especially since every negative review gets a business manager response saying they are always looking to improve! This dealership is the absolute worst! A few years back I walked into Audi Lynbrook after working out at the gym to lease a car. I was greeted by a a sales rep who saw me looking at the newly released Q7. She politely answered all my questions about the features in the car but then rudely suggested that and I quote "You might be better off looking at something like this!" pointing to what I believe was an A3 or A4. I responded that I was not interested in that vehicle and she then responded that the Q7 and I quote "This vehicle is very expensive!". I just told her why don't we just sit down and run the numbers and I'll decide if it's expensive or not. She sighed and walked over to her desk and asked me for my license and walked into a back room. 10 minutes later she came back with a manager who's name I believe was Dominic. He told me that the car had a lot of features and that I would be better off going home and building one online and that once I knew which one I wanted to comeback. I was pretty much chased out the door because they assumed I couldn't afford the car. That day I ended up going to Porsche and leasing a car from them which was a pleasant experience! The best part about this is that a few days later the manager called me to ask if I had a good experience. I told him that I was treated poorly and basically chased out of the dealership. He said "Please come back and see me! My name is Dominic." I told him he was the one who told me to leave and shop online! He didn't know what to say! But after reading these reviews it seems like nothing has or ever will change there and that I should consider shopping at another Audi dealership! read more

I went to this dealer today to look at the A5 Cabriolet and was very impressed with the car after test driving it. That was the good part of my experience. I have been buying / leasing luxury vehicles for 40 years now and this was the most frustrating experience I ever had at a dealership. Unless I was committed to walk out with the car today, getting them to quote a sales price or lease option was worse than going for a root canal. I will look further into this car but would never return to this dealership. read more

Eric the manager was incredible. He was patient, knowledgeable and took his time answering all of my questions about leasing and/or purchasing the gorgeous S5 Sportback.
