I recently got a 2022 RSQ8 that was delivered from an out of state dealer and I wasn't able to fully inspect the car before I bought it. Only 17k miles but needed a decent amount of work. I brought it in and they took Care of every problem I addressed plus multiple others i wasnt aware of. Mostly minor work like rattles and wipers, some major like the water pump vac line and 3 oil leaks. They went above and beyond for me they treated me as if I purchased the car from them. I would like to start by saying I know bringing my vehicle to Audi is a luxury experience and I have always been happy to pay for that. I have bought my last two Audis at this location and always brought my cars here for service over the last 8 years I have been affiliated. As of yesterday I no longer believe the cost is worth the experience. I have always valued the availability of the loaner vehicles making it possible for me to complete errands and everyday tasks while my car is getting work done and have enjoyed my experiences with my last two service agents Blayne and Michelle. I appreciate the value in getting my work done all under the same roof having all my records saved in the same place for ease on myself and the service agents so that things may be done adequately and proficiently. My last service agent, Michelle has since moved away so I was assigned to a new one, Robert Shipley. I have worked the last 11 years in customer service and marketing in the area which has always made it easier for me to bring my car here as it was close and Audi Flatirons has always aligned with my values. Today I brought my car in for an oil change and immediately was told by the service agent that I would need an 80k service and spark plugs replacement - a service that I have had previously done not even a full year ago. Even having explained this he did not believe me until looking at my file, why this was not done previous to my arrival I would like to know. He continued to talk down to me without knowing my background or my knowledge of my own vehicle (maybe perhaps because I am a female in my late 20s who couldn't possibly know anything about cars???) before leaving I approved work to be done for oil change and brake fluid (that I was told I needed before anyone had even looked at my vehicle mind you) both of which I know I can get done anywhere else and at a lower cost but again I have always had excellent experiences previously. I feel it is also important to disclose that I am supposed to have "Audi Care" which I'm told is supposed to save me money on regular routine maintenance yet I have yet to see that happen or perhaps they have not done their due diligence in checking those things beforehand. Several hours later a receive a phone call from Rob telling me I have decisions to make for my car. He tells me I need new tires and new brake pads quoting me 3500$ for all the work listed above. I then tell him I will need to call him back and he tells me he needs to know now or they will skip my vehicle. Red flag number 2 now for those counting. When he calls back because he apparently could not wait for me to do so I tell him I am still going with the original approved work and nothing more. He then proceeds to try and scare me into getting the work done stating safety and that he is giving me a better deal than I can get elsewhere so so much for making a decision on my own vehicle right? I am now scheduled taking my Q3 to have the additional work done for under half the cost within the next couple days and if I had known how this experience would go I would have done it all elsewhere from the start. I have also since learned I just need to have my rear pads and rotors replaced and a tire rotation will be fine for now but will need a set of new ones within the next couple months. So while he may have some things right it is not nearly as dire as he had made it seem. If anyone does end up reading this and made it this far I recommend "All Audi and VW" as an alternative place to get your work done. Years ago I had brought my first 2003 Audi A4 here previous to buying my newer ones (2016 A3 & 2020 Q3) from Flatirons's and that car had lived to run over 250k miles. It may not have all the same luxuries that Flatirons's offers but it is family owned and operated by kind people who have a love and understanding of Audi and Volkswagen vehicles and offer reasonable prices. I also would recommend "Apikol Performance Automotive" Troy has extensive knowledge on vehicles and takes specific interest in Audi. The finance manager seemed to be a very unhappy bitter woman's with zero desire to sell any cars. They all blame their corporate structure. Every person I felt with blames the big Company. Avoid this dealership like the plague. They might have the worst service department of any dealers in Colorado. If you want real service ONLY go to Prestige Audi. They actually care about return customers and not nickel and diming you. Brought my S5 in because a tyre was damaged and I have paid for Audi Pure tyre Protection. It should be a $50 deductible and everything is covered. For SOME REASON they believe their tyres cost $30 more than Audi is willing to cover and would not let me leave without paying for it. So much for the $50 deductible from a WORTHLESS very expensive roadside warranty. They will gladly lose a customer for life for $30, pathetic. This is after purchasing multiple vehicles from them. By far the worst experience I ever had with buying a vehicle. I purchased my vehicle around the end of November and when we went for a test drive the check light came on then procede to say it was false alarm and just cleared the code. So we continue with the purchase of the vehicl. Not even a day of owning the vehicle the head gasket blew and I went to call the people that I was dealing with, wanting to just have them take the vehicle back and switch to another car and said that all the money that was owed on it would roll over on to another car if I decided to trade it in. So I just settled with getting it fixed and waited about a month to receive it back also the was a huge lack of communication I would have to check every other week if I wanted updates. So I finally got my car back then not even having it for two weeks it would not start at all then I had to take to a local work shop to get it fixed turns out the transmission shift cable failed. So then I would have to wait about 3 more weeks to get my car back, during the time I had to use uber the whole time spending around 300-350 a week on uber to and from work. So then i finally went to pick up the car and everything was good for about 5 days then it wouldn't start at all again so I took it back to the shop to have them look at it and they precede to take it back and charge me another 2500 to fix the exact same issue and they replaced the starter and this process took about another month in a half and using uber again to and from work spend more money. Then they said the car was finished so I went to pick up the car and payed more to pick it up and I went to start my car and it failed to start again. Then they took the car to a jeep dealer to get it looked at and they said it would be another 1000 to work on and warranty wouldn't cover it so I just took the car back and it's been sitting outside my house for about month not working just paying a lot of money for a car I can't even drive and the dealership doesn't do anything about it so I completely unsatisfied with this business. read more

I took my S7 in for service... most likely the last time under warranty. So I asked to get everything possible checked and done. My service advisor was friendly and doing their best. They said it would be done in a day. It took 3 days. Luckily, they'd given me a loaner (which I had to wait an hour for), but it was inconvenient to have to demand my car be done and back to me on the third day. Advisor apologized when I got my car, sounds like they're hurting for techs/mechanics to get cars done on time, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a pain to not know when you'll get your car returned. At this level of ownership, I expect the work to be done on time and have a stress free experience. This was neither. I'm not naming the service advisor, because they asked me to fill out the dealership email review, which is completely stupid. The advisor said that if I put down anything but 5 stars, they are judged as failing. So I didnt bother with the dealer comment thing, which is used to mess with employees and encourages lying about the level of service one received. Don't know if I'll bring my car back here. Incompetence Reigns Supreme at this dealer! Called at 9:30 am this morning and told receptionist I wanted to talk with a salesman concerning the new Q6. She switched me to a female sales person that told me they just got a white one in that was not on the floor yet. I told her I was interested in seeing the blue one to check out the color. She told me that they had a Q8 in stock that had that plasma Blue color that I could check out. I drove 30 miles to the dealer just 4 hours later and was assigned to a salesman named Deion (who frankly doesn't know his head from his ass) who wasted 20 minutes of my time before I asked to be transferred to someone else. The next guy told me they had no Plasma Blue cars at the dealer and who could not figure out to which salesperson I talked to just 4 hours prior. Why do you overpay and buy a used car from a dealership? For peace of mind of course! Audi Flatirons does not honor warranties on their used vehicles. We bought a 2016 Audi Q5 about 6 month ago. Within less than 500 miles we started seeing the check oil light, took it in to get it checked out, they refilled the oil and said everything was ok but it kept happening and our car had trouble starting. The 2nd time we took it in they found that the engine was out of spec and the issue would fall under warranty ($8k to fix). Apparently the warranty insurance rejected the claim even though the mechanics had evidence of it being out of spec. So instead of making it right, Audi Flatirons decided not to fix the issue and told us it would be $8k to fix. Isn't that why you pay for warranty insurance? Anyway, we are left with a lemon. The trade-in manager won't return our calls either. We're constantly in fear of our car breaking down or not being able to start during our tables. Buyers beware! read more

We have two Audis in the family. We have always had our Audi's serviced at the dealership. I went to have my car serviced as the navigation and phone electronics failed. There is a KNOWN ISSUE as the MMI Keys for these systems were corrupt. Also, there seemed to be a small leak in the cooling (radiator) system. * I also was going to look TO PURCHASE 2 NEW Audis, one for myself and my grandson wanted one. * When I arrived for my appointment, this was the second time - NO LOANERS. They stressed this when we purchased the service warranty. The dealership did provide a Lyft ride. This is better than nothing but had to ask for a Lyft to pick up the car. This is not what you were told would be provided when you purchased the car and the service warranty. * At the service appointment, I was initially told I DID NOT have any Warranty on the car. * I was subsequently told that I had a SERVICE WARRANTY but my FACTORY WARRANTY EXPIRED a month ago. (5000 miles on since my last service appointment in May 2023.) * The Audi invoices have a WARRANTY EXPIRED SLOT at the top of the invoice. It was NOT NOTED previously, and neither did my service advisor INFORM ME that it was going to expire on my last appointment * We did receive many texts and emails about the appointment and "deals" for new Audis. Strangely, this information was excluded. * I inquired about an extended factory warranty but was told I would have to talk to the finance people, but I was welcome to WAIT AN HOUR. Disgusted, I called Prestige Audi and Rowan IMMEDIATELY EMAILED options. * I was charged $360 for the KNOWN issues, paid, and left the dealership only to return because the repair to the phone system WAS NOT DONE. It was repaired within 5 minutes of labor for a $180 repair. * The invoice stated the oil level was checked/added. Fifteen (15) miles after leaving Audi Flatirons, the OIL LIGHT came on. NOT CHECKED! This is what I was told when I brought up my concerns: Ryan Watson referred me to Robert, the service manager. Robert said, "ALL CAR MANUFACTURES ARE PROHIBITED FROM DISCUSSING FACTORY WARRANTIES WITH CUSTOMERS. I called three other dealerships - Ford, Subaru, and Nissan. * They all Unequivocally stated this was A LIE. All made an effort to tell their customers about an expiring warranty. Robert stressed how it was ALL my IGNORANCE and IRRESPONSIBILITY that this happened. He also said that Audi repairs items by the scheduled date, not by VISUAL INSPECTION when I stated the air filter was replaced by a GERMAN repair shop. Audi's method was more reliable. AUDI's arrogance was that there were customers lining up behind me if I was dissatisfied. EVERY CUSTOMER IS EASILY REPLACED. It did not matter if the events caused 2 new car sales. Looks like AUDI/VOLKSWAGON is deemed to repeat a familiar declining sales pattern of earlier years at regular intervals. I contacted Audi HOME OFFICE in Virginia. 3,000 miles ago I brought my A6 in for what would eventually be brake work - front and rear including all new rotors. It was also suggested that my tires be replaced and an alignment. $7k later, I had my car back and was very happy with everything from initial greeting to receiving a loner and very good communication regarding what was needed and what was performed. Fast forward, I brought the car back for a 60k service package and all was fine until I received the video they create and text upon initial intake of the vehicle when it's up on the lift. What caught my attention was the depth reading of 6/32 on the front tires and 8/32 on rear. Brand new, the tires are either 10/32 or 11/32. So do the math, in 3,000 miles my tires lost approx 50% of their usable tread and the best my service rep could suggest was that I call manufacturer Continental to see if they could do something because the dealership couldn't. I paid my bill, retrieved my car and told my rep I would not be coming back and why. He said he's speak to his manager to see if there was anything they could do. Never received a call so I will be shopping for new tires after approx 8,000-10,000 miles of use. Needless to say, they won't be Continental and I won't buy from Audi Flatirons. read more

My family and I went to look at Audis. We wanted to look at the A5. We thought going to the Audi dealer in Boulder would be a good idea.... It is also the last day of the month. You would think the sales people would be motivated and hungry. When my family went in we were told someone be right with us. We sat in every car in the showroom except the R8s. Still no sales guy. We were there 15 minutes without any sales help. That is rediculess for even the lowest level car dealership. It is unacceptable at a luxury dealership. I recommend you shop elsewhere. My experience was mediocre overall but the real issue is they tried something crazy-unethical. I bought my car out of lease through them and was asked what I wanted to put down. I explained I wanted to pay cash, and they said that is fine. Then, however, they told me that if I was paying that with a check, they were going to have to do a credit pull. I of course objected as getting a pull would hurt my credit rating and they said the only way around it was to bring a cashier's check. I did so and avoided it, but they are actively damaging their customer's credit for no reason other than to try to pitch auto loan rates to customers who are trying to buy cash. That is shady in the extreme. Avoid these guys. read more

I left my car for service to fix the steering rack, but when I picked it up, Chelsea, my service advisor, told me that they had fixed everything, even my subframe. She overcharged me for a thing that never happened, handed me a fake document that not include subframe was repaired, but on the invoice I signed, it stated that my subframe was replaced. I brought this up with the general manager, but he tried to avoid me and sent me another worker named Dan. I see Dan in the office and I simply asked him for the invoice that was signed, but he refused and threatened me. After our conversation, he printed the copies that I signed, but he did not show me the 2 papers about the subframe that was fixed for $5000. So I reached for the papers, and he pulled it out of my hand, he got mad when i caught him. So I called the cops, they arrived and helped me collect all of the documents I needed. Dan even tried to destroy the papers before the cops showed up. However, I am suing them for fraud and scams. Be careful when working with Chelsea and Dan. They will try to scam for something that your car does not need. read more

Update: After taking the time to read my review, the management team reached out to address my concerns and issues. I am thankful they took the time to figure out where things went wrong. My initial buying experience in October 2020 was great and I had no complaints, but buying out my lease had several issues. I initially contact them in early October 2022 to buy out my lease. That same week, my car had a system malfunction error code and the service center kept my vehicle for an entire week to look into the issue and review the error codes. A week after, I went into the dealership to buy out my lease. The sales representative told me I couldn't do that on the spot. Since they were technically selling me the vehicle, I had to get it inspected. Since an inspection was occurring, I decided to just pay the extra expense and get the CPO inspection done, but they couldn't schedule me for almost a month. During the inspection, I got a notification asking me to approve an additional $600 in charges to calibrate the windshield. The windshield had been replaced in September 2022 and calibrated by Safelite. Audi claimed that the windshield was at its "fault limit" when I hadn't received any errors in the panel. Mind you this is less than a month after Audi had my car for a week to investigate error codes and never once mentioned that. The Audi service rep even went as far as saying that I could pay the $600 calibration, but in his experience the windshield would likely fail and I would have to replace the glass anyways and have it calibrated again. I asked at that time if this was a requirement for the CPO, or a general inspection and the service representative told me that this was necessary to pass a general inspection and I would not be able to buy my lease out without having this resolved. So I got to pay $420 for the failed inspection. The sales representative applied pressure to me, making it seem like a large safety issue. I was told that it was not safe to use anything but the manufacturer glass, and it was at risk because the lane assist and the automatic stopping wouldn't function with the aftermarket glass. When the sales representative next checked in with me, and when I was hesitant with moving forward due to this, he didn't acknowledge my concerns or even respond to the text message. I followed up with Safelite, who inspected my car and confirmed that the windshield calibration had no issues. Upon reviewing my lease, it confirmed that OE glass was acceptable and my lease did not require me to have the manufacturer's glass installed. I went to Audi Denver at that point, and they were able to help me buy out my lease in 1.5 hours. No inspection was required, and the type of glass on my vehicle was not an issue. So thanks to Audi Flatirons, the lease buyout took approximately 2 months longer than it should have. read more

I am voluntarily changing my review because I gave them a second chance and low and behold what the GM said was true, they are going for an inviting low pressure sales environment. 2 months later with our being asked to come in we decided to go back and look at an Audi again. This time we were greeted by Jessica McDaniel, who was extremely pleasant to work with. Not once did I feel pressure to buy. It more like how can we help you be the happiest you can be in your future new car. My quote below were as the GM put it a work in progress and the experience is night and day from our first visit. So pleased! This is no longer true! "Apparently you have to dressed a certain way for a sales person to approach you at this dealership. Good and bad, if you don't want to get bombarded just dress down (khaki shorts and a hoodie). Want to get rushed dress like your a CEO on your way to a meeting. I'm sure Audi USA would love to hear how this dealership represents its brand. Especially just outside of Boulder CO. Where most everyone no matter your status dresses "down". My husband purchased a 2021 Audi A4 the car is absolutely beautiful, however the experience for him wasn't a good one due to the lack of cultural diversity at this location you are not going to get good salesmanship, which is sad since Audi is known for it's luxury the experience should be aligned to all customers. I'm so lucky this dealership broke our handshake deal on their damaged car as I found a newer model of the same car with more options and such low mileage, I have the manufacturer ls warranty. Going into the dealership, I knew the exact car I wanted. The young sal Sean was kind enough to let me test drive the car pre-detailing. It had a major alignment issue and confusing dashboard. Still, the deal was fair so I was ready to move. I left with the understanding the salesman or manager would car once the alignment was fixed and car detailed. Neither did. I reached out to find the car was on the lot. I went to drive it again. The alignment was not repaired. I was not a priority as the young sal Amanda had an appointment, which never showed. As he was solo at his desk while I test drive the car with my son. My son was leery of the auto and the dealership: great instincts. The price, if auto was drivable without making alignment worse, was decent. I endured the "I've got to talk to my manager" line many times so I wasted many 15 minute increments at a glass desk. The salesman returned with his best offer: buy the car as-is and make an appointment at their service department to fix the alignment. Given the pull and the damage to wheels and tires, a large incident caused the alignment problem, not a simple fix. I declined the offer to buy a broken car, which shouldn't be driven until repaired, and then wait weeks for the service department to fix the car to the dealership's standards. That was actually a condescending offer 'yet she persists,' asking for the promised repair. More "manager trips" and the salesman returned with papers about the car and a handwritten line underneath which, was written "Will Buy Once Alignment Fixed." He told me to sign on the line and it was legally binding. I pointed out that repairs can be deemed "good enough" and unless 100% better, it's subjective. More manager visits and we had a handshake deal that I would buy the car as soon as it was repaired. I was told the car would be fixed in the next few days. I told them I'd get a cashiers check so we verified the purchase price. Days went by. I checked online to see if the car was back on the lot. It was, and the price had increased by thousands! Reaching out to the sales manager, he was rude beyond compare. Handshakes mean nothing. Audi Flat Irons is price gouging, ignoring clients and revealing just how their lives enters will be treated. Expressing my concern, the sales manager's sole response "You wanna buy another car?" This dealership lacks ethics, honesty, and any attempt at human relationship building. They chose a few grand over customer loyalty, and ethics. Had they chosen to boost the price by creating a bidding war once they had my deal in place, there was ample opportunity to contact me. The disrespect is humiliating. I was never treated as a customer despite my full price offer they accepted. Once the chip / car shortage is over, remember how these business practices. Avoid Audi Flat Irons! My new / used car came from Gebhardt in Boulder. It drives like a dream, is two model years newer, had less than half the miles of the Audi Flat Irons, better interior color and condition, the elusive second row captains chairs, no red flags ... Gebhardt didn't use my interest to escalate the price, nor create a bidding frenzy. These were no bogus manager trips. My nightmare at Audi Flat Irons was a blessing in disguise. Audi Flat Irons dishonest price gouging reminded me of living through a Hurricane when on the east coast. One of the hour local grocery stores opted to charge $10 a bag of ice because people were in need. That company spent millions in rebranding yet no one has forgotten how they treated clients. read more
