They examined it thoroughly and ultimately diagnosed the problem as a fault in the motherboard. The solution turned out to be putting my solid state drive into another laptop several generations newer....effectively salvaging all my data and apps on a newer machine...all this for a few hundred bucks. They were extremely communicative, provided a fast resolution and ensured my PC was working to the best of it's ability. They were able to identify the power going to the GPU wasn't enough, due to user error on my part during the installation. They even went and updated my BIOS, drivers, and OS! These guys are PROS, if you need fast and reliable, I couldn't recommend MM Tech Doctor enough. Oh, and they gave me a 90 day warranty on my PC!

The second phone had major communication problems requiring that the phone be returned. SimpleTech provided a USPS label which we used to return the phone. They subsequently strung us along with promises of repairing and returning the phone. They never did return the phone (essentially committed theft). After a simple Google search, it appears this company is in bankruptcy. So, it would be advisable to avoid doing business with them unless you want to lose your investment.

It was repaired and mailed back on 5/30, delivered to my home on 6/02. You are required to provide your phone's PIN/password and to have the battery charged above 50%. I would suggest setting up an easy-to-remember security PIN & dummy Google account so that you can actually locate the phone if it's lost in transit. Remove your SIM.
