In addition to chairs for weary shoppers to rest scattered throughout the mall, there are also some high tops, which is nice if you grab a quick bite like a pretzel or Jamba Juice and want to chill while you eat. There is a huge parking lot around the mall as well as a parking garage near Round 1 and Century. There is also an outdoor kids' play area with shade near Crate and Barrel and Tiffany. Recent additions have included Blue Bottle coffee and Knee Deep Brewing is expected to open this year. The Galleria is expansive so be prepared for a workout unless you plan to stick to 1 store. Also, while my husband and I waited to get in this morning (just as the store was supposed to open), everyone in the building was evacuated outside. They told us it was a fire drill, but I sincerely doubt it since several police officers suddenly showed up to respond to the store's call. I had to wait to come back this evening.

It's a nice outdoor shopping atmosphere that offers entertainment opportunities. We've enjoyed a variety of shopping & eating experiences here over the years. Our more frequented spots are Whole Foods, Salt & Straw, Mikuni, Peet's, Sephora, & Zocalo. We like to browse the home stores & specialty shops. The kiddo enjoys activities like corn hole, the playground, & an occasional train ride. She's part of The Fun Squad & gets a special birthday prize each year. The holidays are a fun time to come with all the decorations & to enjoy special events like The Elf Hunt. Guest services staff has been helpful. Parking is usually rough, but that's just what it is in a popular shopping area.

We had to park across in street in the large empty lot. It wasn't bad but can be tough walking with your kids on a hot day. Not bad, not bad…read more The pickup area wasn't marked at all, and my husband and I accidentally walked back into that area while looking for hoodies. On one side was a display of sweaters, so one would reasonable infer that more clothes would be on the other side. Nope. Two ladies working pickup orders. Our bad, not to mention a weird place to have that area without cordoning it off. There isn't an appealing selection of clothes that doesn't look like something that belongs in my mother's closet from the 80s. And when I did find a pair of leggings on clearance, I wasn't interested in paying $23 when I can get them for the same price at home for $10. I did like the reusable bag selection at the register (I found a hot cold bag with cherries), and the collection funkos are always fun. Good to know this target carries a solid selection of kombucha. Great customer service. Joel at the register and a sales floor associate were both especially nice. I enjoyed both of them very much.

Are all Costco's created equally?!…read more I have no idea, but I am constantly exploring new ones when I find them, and this Costco location in Loomis, California is my latest discovery. They've been open for almost a year, and it's taken me literally this long to check it out. This one just feels different and quite frankly I don't know that I can put my finger on it. Maybe it's the way the entrance and exit doors are situated, maybe it's the displays, maybe it's that still fresh feeling... I don't know but I can tell you I like it! This warehouse is incredibly well stocked, and I was able to find items here that I literally cannot and have not ever found or seen in the other warehouses that I shop at. The meat department is glorious! So many different cuts of meat, fish, poultry, I even found ground chicken packaged by Mary's. Mary's is more local to California and has a great reputation for quality poultry. The produce section was a little low, but it's also that time of year when California just doesn't have a lot of produce. Spring is just around the corner... As I perused up and down different aisles, putting more in my grocery cart than I had originally bargained for, it was almost like a treasure hunt, and I've loved every moment of it! If you live in the Sacramento area, where you happen to be driving through or near Roseville, which is just adjacent, shopping here is a great experience. Parking was easy! Yes, you read that correctly. Parking was not a problem. Finding a shopping cart was not a problem. The checkout lines, definitely were not a problem. The cashier was super sweet on top of it. Great shopping experience and definitely worth making this my go to in the area!

I…read moreneeded purchasing eggs: I noted eighteen Heirloom eggs selling for $7.87, the twenty-four pack of organic eggs selling for about the same as the Heirloom eggs then, the typical eggs which I never buy nor bother noticing the selling price. What is prominently noted in my brain: Loomis Costco is the ONLY Costco selling the Heirloom Eggs! Will someone PLEASE explain WHY all the Costcos I have shopped never have the items I want and need at the Folsom Costco, eh?

They didn't fit well so I returned them with a receipt and tags and the lady that helped me was not so pleasant. She was clearly annoyed I was returning them even though I had my receipt and only had them for two days. I probably will shop here even less, I don't need an attitude.
