Growing up in the Sacramento area, Arden Fair was usually my go-to shopping mall, especially when I was living in Davis. But I was always willing to make the drive out to Roseville, particularly during Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I still remember the days when people would line up outside stores like GameStop, waiting for the doors to open and hoping to score a good deal. Those were some fun times, and this mall brings back quite a few memories. Over the years, I've watched the Galleria grow and change quite a bit. What I appreciate is that it's no longer just a place to shop. There's a great variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment options, making it somewhere you can easily spend an entire afternoon or even a whole day with family or friends. The dining options are especially nice. Whether you're looking for something quick at the food court or a sit-down meal at places like The Cheesecake Factory or Il Fornaio, there's plenty to choose from. There's also Round1 Bowling & Arcade, which has a huge selection of arcade games, bowling, and other activities. Add in the movie theater, and you've got more than enough to keep everyone entertained. Another thing I've noticed is how lively the mall continues to be. At a time when so many traditional shopping malls seem to be struggling, it's refreshing to see the Galleria still attracting plenty of visitors. Every time I come here, there are people shopping, families spending time together, and a good amount of activity throughout the mall. To me, Westfield Galleria remains one of the best shopping destinations in the greater Sacramento area. It's impressive how much the place has evolved while still maintaining the atmosphere that made it popular in the first place. I have a lot of good memories here, and I'm glad to see the mall continuing to do well after all these years. Whether you're coming for shopping, food, entertainment, or just a casual afternoon walking around, it's definitely worth the trip to Roseville.

If you have lived in Roseville long enough, you remember when the Galleria didn't exist…read more It was built in 2000 and it instantly changed the shopping dynamic in the Greater Sacramento area. Once the Galleria opened up, people no longer wanted to just go shopping, they wanted to go shopping at The Galleria. Anything less and you weren't shopping at the best place possible in the area. Weekends, Black Friday shopping, Day after Christmas shopping, all were taken to the next level when the Galleria opened up. Nobody can ever forget when the Galleria was hit by a terrible fire in 2010 and was forced to be closed for repairs for about a year. I personally love the Galleria because they always have just about anything and everything to fulfill my shopping needs. It's also home to some of the best restaurants in the area, from the food court to the restaurants on the outer edges-so many food options. I think it's safe to say I've done my Christmas shopping at the Galleria just about every year since they opened in 2000. The Galleria is a true sense of pride for the citizens of Roseville and I couldn't imagine what it would be like if the Galleria ever went away. So if you ever are in the Roseville area and have a need to go shopping or maybe just window shop-don't hesitate to stop by the Galleria at Roseville. I'm sure a good time will be had.

West Roseville Marketplace - Seen close to Safeway (June 2025)

Other businesses currently operating at the time of this review are McDonald's, Bank of America, Mountain Mike's Pizza, & Lavish Nails. An EV Connect Charging Station is also located here. The other 3 business that are slated to open are Pho Madame, Donuts & Coffey, & Postal Annex. Parking is usually pretty full when I shop here, but I can always find a spot. Exiting onto Pleasant Grove Blvd to get into the left turn lanes to Fiddyment Rd can be tricky & requires luck or patience to get an opening. Best to exit by the McDonald's to have more space.

With West Roseville community growing at a very rapid speed and with all the new homes being built we are overdue! Since our move to Roseville in 2001 we've had to drive 1.5 miles to the closest grocery store and 2.3 miles for the nearest gas station. This shopping center in the West Roseville Marketplace has a Safeway with both a grocery store and a gas station and is less than 0.5 miles away so suh-weet! but I'm still waiting for the donut shop to open. The only issue I have is getting out of the parking lot. Too many cars coming from Pleasant Grove if exiting out from McDonald's (right turn only) especially during busy commute times. Fiddyment Road and Pleasant Grove Blvd have became racetracks. Roseville is just too congested but it's nice to have these businesses nearby. Review #3973

Are all Costco's created equally?!…read more I have no idea, but I am constantly exploring new ones when I find them, and this Costco location in Loomis, California is my latest discovery. They've been open for almost a year, and it's taken me literally this long to check it out. This one just feels different and quite frankly I don't know that I can put my finger on it. Maybe it's the way the entrance and exit doors are situated, maybe it's the displays, maybe it's that still fresh feeling... I don't know but I can tell you I like it! This warehouse is incredibly well stocked, and I was able to find items here that I literally cannot and have not ever found or seen in the other warehouses that I shop at. The meat department is glorious! So many different cuts of meat, fish, poultry, I even found ground chicken packaged by Mary's. Mary's is more local to California and has a great reputation for quality poultry. The produce section was a little low, but it's also that time of year when California just doesn't have a lot of produce. Spring is just around the corner... As I perused up and down different aisles, putting more in my grocery cart than I had originally bargained for, it was almost like a treasure hunt, and I've loved every moment of it! If you live in the Sacramento area, where you happen to be driving through or near Roseville, which is just adjacent, shopping here is a great experience. Parking was easy! Yes, you read that correctly. Parking was not a problem. Finding a shopping cart was not a problem. The checkout lines, definitely were not a problem. The cashier was super sweet on top of it. Great shopping experience and definitely worth making this my go to in the area!
