I recently hired Austin Professional Painters for a pretty large project: we had remodeled our…read morekitchen and had installed new shiplap, headboard, and chair rail throughout the main areas of our downstairs. The cabinets and walls needed a total refresh of paint, and all that new woodwork had tons of caulking/filling/sanding/priming etc to do. Then we needed new crown molding added to our half bath, and there were several sheetrock patches plus some ceiling cracks which needed good prepping and feathering in. Also, our front and back doors needed to be repainted. So - a lot of work! And I am picky about quality. I chose Austin Professional Painting because they seemed well organized, well qualified, and ready to go at a scale of enough workers that we could get back to living in the downstairs of our house in a reasonable amount of time. Their comfort with good quality paint was also a key factor in my choice. So: the guys who came out to do the work, Carlos and Ivan - plus another couple of guys on certain days, were very nice, polite, and extremely hard working. They did a very good job and I am satisfied with the work. I would hire Austin Professional Painters again (and probably will this fall when we get around to renewing the master bath), and I definitely recommend them. I'll have to update this review with photos soon, I just need to take a bunch of them.

Not only did they give us the most competitive price, John and his crew were very professional and did an awesome job. They painted the whole house including the trim and front door in about 4 days. They also used top quality paint (Sherwin Williams Emerald) so the paint should be looking good for many years. This was by far my best experience with a painting company so I highly recommend APP and will be using them for any future painting work.

We've used VanRossun Contracting twice now for work on our home and there's a reason we keep going…read moreback to them: the quality of the work and attention to detail can't be beat. Clint really has a way of finding really talented craftsmen and workers. Additionally, unlike others we've worked with where you don't know who is showing up on what day at what time, Clint's guys work consistent hours, for us they typically showed up at 8 and had cleaned up for the day by 5. As disruptive as a remodel can be it's a relief to have a little consistency. Another reason we've stuck with VanRossun is because unlike other contractors we've worked with or gotten bids from, Clint is a good open communicator about the budget. He's been great about sitting down with us and pricing things out, and then we can sort of trim from there to get what we really need out of our budget. Really happy with Clint and Isabel and their crew, and we plan on going back to them in the future.

Ben came over, helped me with the finances, talked me through the process and most importantly calmed my nerves. After two visits, I agreed on the terms, conditions, contract and went for it. They delivered what they promised. All interactions that I experienced was professional, courteous and made me feel like a valued customer. When we…read moreinquired, they were several months booked, so we just procrastinated and didn't do anything. On the way home one month or so back, there was a PRT crew working in the neighborhood and it motivated me to reach out again. They quickly replied through Yelp once I sent them a message and the estimator was here in a couple of days for an estimate and to provide guidance. He was very helpful in making the decisions we choose. We pretty much revamped our entire landscape. New Sod, removal of old sod and installation of zero scape/natural flat stones/gravel. Replanted all the beds, reworked sprinkler system and a massive trim out of existing shrubs and the sort. Not inexpensive, however they were still less expensive then another service, who suggested such things as a French drain, which really didn't make sense and came in a couple grand higher. The crew were numerous and were on time, courteous and knocked out the project in only a few days. One slight slip was the sod was not available on the last day, so we skipped a day and had the job completed the day after. It still was in the time frame they informed us on to begin with and let us know the day before the sod was to be installed. The result of their hard work will be truly noticed when the new plantings take hold. We have been fortunate with having several days of rain and cool weather. A couple of weeks in the sod has taken hold and none of the plantings have died and are all perking up from the transplanting experience. We are very happy with the results and the ease of working with PRT from start to finish.
