If you currently have a water heater installed by…read moreWeatherbee I strongly recommend checking it every 6 months minimum to ensure his budget install is not leaking/corroding. Greg uses fast food parts...cheap yes...quality NO. If you choose to use Weatherbee I also strongly recommend opening a new bank account and put the money you "saved" into that account....you're going to need it later to fix his work. Greg the owner caused $1006 worth of damage after he came out to fix his budget/faulty install. The fast food Shark Bite he uses to install water heaters started leaking and corroding in less than a year. During his warranty repair he flooded the utility room, didn't clean up the water, didn't turn the water heater back on after he flooded it (ice cold showers for everyone!), forgot to turn the sprinkler supply valve back on (never should have been turned off in the first place but he doesn't know the difference between a sprinkler supply shutoff and a water main shutoff). He left the sprinkler valve off which caused a pump in the system to run dry and burn out. $1006 for a new pump. I don't know about you, but unfortunately I don't have a "what to check after your plumber leaves without saying anything to anyone" checklist. We mistakenly trusted THE OWNER of Weatherbee Plumbing. Yes we attempted to contact Greg many times before posting this review, he chose to be a coward and never responded. Thanks Greg!

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor who appeared to be professional…read more Here's what happened: They performed maintenance on my 4 year old Navien Combi-boiler. Everything checked out and the system was stated to be functioning normally. BUT Dave thought the system could be better if I added a different circulation pump. He also thought the system should be re-piped. As the bid for everything was close to $5,000, I opted to replace pump for $864. Soon after the pump was replaced and that maintenance work was done, I noticed the pipes were clanging when the heat went off. They said air was in the system and wanted to replace the air vent. Before they could replace the air vent my system broke down. It took them a week to get back to fix the problem (that's right! No heat or hot water for a week!). After it got running again the clanking continued and when I called to ask why, I was dismissed and asked to "pay up". I decided to enlist another company certified be the manufacturer to give the system a closer look. You won't believe what they found! The pump they installed was the wrong size(was suited for a large commercial application) and they installed it UPSIDE DOWN! The technician also found the heat exchanger had failed and there was carbon monoxide and gas spewing from it! It had to be shut down immediately was going to cost me $4,250 to get the system repaired! I hold Cedar Creek Mechanical and Dave Sutton responsible for this but to this date there has been no effort by him to make things right. Whats more, the suggestion for the repiping was all wrong. The factory certified technician said it was wrong to move the pipes on this system the way he suggested. So here it is: This company does bad work, suggests things that don't need to be done and then claims no responsibility! I believe they are also overpriced when I compare to others. They might try to deny this, but my system was running fine. I have it in writing. I have all of the receipts. We will see what the judge thinks!

Absolute Mechanical? More like Absolutely no service whatsoever…read more Originally we were dealing with an AC unit and tried going through our home warranty. Don't get me wrong the home warranty is a headache in of itself; they don't get off the hook that easy. However Frank was technician number 4 and he came out to look at the unit. Originally it appeared he did a nice job; quality work, made sure to look thoroughly, etc. The original appointment was on August 10th. Sounds good right? Wrong. Most people would probably think we would hear more information from both Absolute Mechanical and the Home warranty company within a week or 2. Dead silence. After repeatedly hammering both lines of communication (home warranty and Frank, the technician, directly) we have essentially gotten nowhere. All the warranty company can tell me is that "they are waiting on additional information to be sent from the technician" I tried calling Frank and he claims that he's filled out the report and the ball is in the warranty company's court. Maybe he has filled out the report? Maybe he hasn't? On one of our calls he even went as so far to say our report was deleted by the home warranty company?? (I don't know how the home warranty company would delete our report when he was the original one who wrote it?) Don't worry though, after about 10 minutes he found the report just in the wrong folder. After much back and forth, the warranty company confirmed that they received the information for the repair on August 20th. Next steps are that the technician will call us to schedule. As of September 9th I'm still waiting on a phone call from the technician to move forward. Don't worry though, I'm sure he's going to call any day now. In addition, the warranty company now claims that they need additional information for the "replacement" rather than the "repair" and you guessed it, "they are waiting on the technician to send them that additional information. I can't believe I'm saying this, but you could probably learn the HVAC trade and fix your own AC yourself by the time Absolute decides to figure anything out
