At the outset, the situation was a bit unusual. We are renting this home with an option to…read morepurchase. So we wanted an inspection to know if there was any pressing issues with the home before we made a decision on the option. So we didn't want a typical home sale inspection, nor is this review reflective of that type of service. Let's start with the good. This company is very easy to communicate with. They are responsive and easy to reach out to. Joseph (who conducted the inspection) is also very personable. He did a thorough review of the home and even gave us some thoughts on how we might re-design, paint or structure the rooms in our house. Finally, the price was great, He understood the unique needs of my situation and adjusted it to a reasonable rate. My big issue came after the inspection. I negotiated the receipt of a report prior to the inspection as the landlord would need a copy. I had to continuously follow up on this after the inspection and then ask him to add issues he identified that I had written in my own notes but were not included in the report. Although I finally got a report, it took a lot of effort on my end to receive it (and it was a bit less comprehensive than I hoped for).

A neighbor recommended Affordable, a family business; Carl Sr. promptly came out, assessed, and explained the options clearly and offered a work date just 1 week off. The installer, Keith, noticed my new downspouts were black and offered to spray-paint the white chimney tubing to match, no extra charge, since I had spray paint on hand. He showed me how it worked and gave me very clear instructions for the follow-up testing, and kindly answered several more questions by text, as they occurred to me over the next few days.
