Avoid ATSI as long as they are associated with Dream Nissan. When I made the appt with ATSI I suspected that the problem I was having may have been the result of work previously done by Dream Nissan which took me 3 visits to resolve and then when I arrive for my scheduled appt with ATSI (now Nightmare Nissan) they do not show that I have a scheduled appt. So I have now driven over 5 miles each way (total 10 + miles) only to have a guy call me to say "oops, our fault, you did have an appointment)". Really unimpressed and will never patronize again and will urge others to look elsewhere when needing service for their vehicles. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO SERVICE. I had a few issues I needed looked at. My e brake was felt as if it was stripped out and not working properly. Ended up being told my passanger rear brake caliper rotor needed replaced. I had a throw out bearing going out in my clutch and my cv joints needed replaced. After the repairs I had a brake still sticking. I took my car in 5 times and each time was told they couldnt find anything. They couldnt get the brake to stick. Fast forward a couple of weeks after the last time i sent it i was heading to work and my whole brake system locked up. Drove it to the nearest mechanic and they said my whole driver rear caliper brake rotor had seized up. Anothe 750 dollar repair... brakes are still sticking. Finally found a real honest compatrnt mechanic who looked over all the work and discovered my brake pad had been out on incorrectly. Causing all the repairs to the brake rotor and caplier to be not fixed and ruined yet again. The new mechanic told me due to my car being a manual a transmission flush was not something i could have done for my car... the amount of time they charged was incorrect and on too of all that when he went to check on the work done my transmission fluid level was low. He said when you replace xv joints sometimes the transmission fluid will leak out. Literally everything this mechanic at ATSI touched was performed wrong, mis diagnosed and clearly not looked at properly because all issues could have been fixed if they were just looked at in the first place. So i desputed the bill and wong the dispute. The manager Gabbie was not happy about that and reached out saying she would be fighting it and all forms of communication would need to be done thru the company from here on out. Yet she reached out to a mutual family member to bash the fact i disputed the shotty work (at best) and involved outside people in our business transaction. Bottom line this company was incompetant to do the job, cost me 6 weeks of being out of work due to their failure to diagnose, fix properly the things needed on the car, and then when telling them something isnt right FIVE MORE TIMES still failed to do their job. It was a nightmare that took 6 months to be resolved and it also cost me a new transmission that i have not yet decided to sue for compensation. And the level of professionalism was at an all time low. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR EVEN AN OIL CHANGE seeing as a simple brake job they couldnt even out the brake pad on properly. If you do use them oay with credit so you can dispute the crappy service you receive. Save yourself the trouble though and go somewhere that knows how to properly diagnose and fix the correct problems the first or even SECOND time. 5 times and 2 mechanics and 6 months after the initial visit i finally got my car fixed and fixed correctly. read more

I can't begin to say how happy I am with the service provided at ATSI. RJ was my contact and he was very polite and thorough but here's the story.. I had a car go dead on 23rd St. I thought sure it was the transmission. I had ATSI do a Diagnostic test. Turns out it was just a loose battery cable! They still checked everything and it's all fine. Other places have been giving me estimates in the thousands (cough, cough) Big O tires in Lawrence.. but ATSI took care of me right. I've taken my car to atsi several time. Good service each time. The last time they didn't even charge us.

These guys are great! They communicated with us well and when we went to check out they sat with us and explained all of these different possibilities and options. They were so kind. We went to them with a transmission issue but based on this experience we will be going to them first with everything from now on. Even my wife felt safe and comfortable there. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP! I took my car to Atsi for transmission issue they told me it would be 90 dollars to diagnose it. After they diagnosed it they told me I would have to pay 175 because of the manual labor connected to the diagnoses and also it was going to cost over 1200 dollars to fix my car. I told them no thank you and took it to another shop in town where they fixed it for 75 dollars and it has been working fine ever since. DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAM ARTIST. read more

Fast and friendly service. They guy (Terry) that worked the phone and front counter was very professional and I didn't feel like I was being hustled. I took my wife's car in for an oil change and they kindly let me know that the rear tires are getting a little thin and might need to be replaced soon. Poor service, lost my car for a week for a small sensor. Left the car on Wednesday the FOLLOWIng Wednesday they call, actually strike that, I had to call to check. As I had every day since Monday, two business days after I dropped it off and they kept saying it'll be ready tomorrow, it'll be ready tomorrow. Well a full week after they receive my car, they tell me that it will be ready today, I call thirty mins to close since they never called me and they say no, it'll be tomorrow. Muffler is missing a piece and now my car is making noises.

I took my car to this shop to get the transmission checked out. They quickly found that my air filter was cracked. I came in paid, picked it up and was on my way! Within a few weeks it started to act up, again. My check engine light came on, and i had to get a tow. I took it back to them. Needless to say, i ended up having to take it to another shop after dealing with ATSI twice. They found that ATSI had incorrectly fixed it, and also forget to put fluids in. They are the worst Transmission shop i have ever dealt with. They refused to help me. They dont even deserve 1 star. Use them at your own risk. read more

I brought my 1998 Pontiac Bonneville into ATSI for a tranny flush and fill, multipoint inspection, and a couple other concerns. Greg at the service counter treated me very well, patiently answering all my questions. Once it turned out the service would take longer than anticipated, an employee dropped me off at home, then picked me up later. Best of all, the cost was over $100 less than the estimate I was given. Am 100 % pleased with the service on every level they were friendly kept me informed and not so outragiously expensive that i could not afford it.
