After living in this area for ten years and seeing shop after shop after shop struggle with…read moresomething as simple as balancing tires it's a miracle to find this shop. We had tremendous and timely service from the Rexburg Car Shop. Having turned wrenches on and off for 35 years myself I was grateful to the Rexburg Car Shop for taking on a complicated repair which took a lot of very expensive shop grade tools to repair. They were fair in their pricing and the warranty on the parts and labor is for three years, not just one year.

My car doesn't drive better, but I think it's now transmitting signals to the moon. The mechanics spoke in riddles, the waiting room smelled like regret, and I'm 90% sure I saw someone summon a wrench from thin air. Either I walked into a repair shop or the headquarters of the Illuminati. Anyway, my check engine light is still on--but at least now it blinks in Morse code. Probably spelling out "RUN."

We have been here twice. The first time was for a light change in our Subaru. It was changed…read morequickly and we didn't find any problems. We went back to have them change our head gasket and back windshield wiper blade. Their quote price was about $1,000 cheaper than other places in Rexburg. We thought we got a great deal. They were quick and very friendly. Unfortunately, we went to a Subaru dealership about 8 months later because the front passenger airbag was recalled (2007 Outback with no accidents). They told us our head gasket is leaking. How can this happen when it wasn't even a year old? Now we're possibly spending another $3,000 or so to get it changed or we'll just have to junk it since we've already put way too much in it. It's very disheartening since we trusted Auto Aspects. Also, when we got our car back after taking it to them, our back windshield wiper was misaligned. We took it back and they fixed it, but it's still frustrating that it wasn't done correctly the first time. Update: I read the comment from Auto Aspects. They are correct, we were within our warranty. However, why would I return to a place when it wasn't done correctly the first time? We took it to the Subaru dealership instead. We trust the dealership's knowledge of or specific car and now we will only be taking our vehicles to dealerships. Lesson learned!

Shane explained he forgot to mention this and he was so sorry for letting it slip his mind that they did not do the work I paid for. They said they would fix the locking issue. They did BUT now the key doesnt work. I left tired of the incompetence and afraid of more damage to the vehicle. Once I arrived home I realized they did not return my $500 key I had just bought at the dealer. When I called back they said.........we dont have it, we will look.
