Wings were cooked well. All 3 flavors were rich and tasty. My favorite was the hot lemon pepper. This store in under new management and one of the partners did well in explaining what new items they have and that they will be doing a grand reopening soon. Looking forward to this spot. read more

Hadn't been to this place since they opened and I won't be back...ever! The place was clean and the guy who rang my friend and I up was nice, but it was the tasteless, nasty food that did it for me. My friend ordered chicken over rice and I tried a little and it was gross. I ordered the six piece Chipotle bbq wings combo with waffle fries...also gross. The wings tasted undercooked and drenched in bbq sauce. The waffle fries were fried too hard and barely edible. Complete waste..should have been a clue when we didn't see anyone in there. read more

Order waffle fries, and get regular fries. Order Pepsi and Orange Crush and when I get there, all they have are Diet Pepsi and Mountain Dew... both of which, I do not drink. It is clear that no one from this establishment monitors this location on Yelp, as I do not see them responding to reviews, so this review is for potential new customers... this place is not worth your time or money! It's a shame, because the wings were actually pretty good. read more

So the food here is usually decent, but the problem is that they never have anything available. I don't understand the point in sending out coupons to the nearby residents when you don't plan on keeping the items from said coupons in stock. I've walked out of this store more often than I've ordered from it, and wasting one's time constantly doesn't make me want to try again. read more

Website and Apple Maps says the restaurant closes at 11pm. I placed and paid for an order online just to get there and the store is closed?????? Then when calling the restaurant via the number provided in their website, my order confirmation, and Apple Maps, someone answers and hangs up once I say hello and proceeds to not answer the phone. I've never been so upset in my life. This is beyond unprofessional and I just spent $40 on food at a restaurant that isn't even open. Why are you accepting orders and providing times that it will be ready if the restaurant is not open??? Is the phone number even the restaurant number or is it someone's cell? Who do I even talk to for a refund? Terrible read more

Best price on wings I have seen and the wing and sauce are delicious! I got mango habanero they were great every time I order them!

I went in today after all days a Dentist appointment, because I've been wanting to try this place out. The owner Zach is amazing and he was very gracious in explaining the menu and recommened the Thai chili wings. First of all those things were freking amazing, very tender, not really heavy on the spicy kickback and it was worth every bite. I will definetly be coming back read more

Ordered 20 wings. Literally every wings looks different. Some are burnt some just overcooked with no sauce the rest undercooked. The first wing I bit into was punk on the inside. Never again and then I can't even get a refund read more

Best chicken and rice in the area - reminds me almost of Halal Guys food stands in NYC. Pro tip: Ask for extra red and white sauce and pay for double pita, cut and mix everything up (including the salad that comes with it) - you're welcome ;) read more

Very bright and clean space. Four TVs and sports channels on each. Cute set up. The sweet potato fries are indeed good. I went with the advice of some of the reviews, and if lemon pepper wings are supposed to taste like they do here, then I must agree that this is your spot. I tried them and I can officially say that I am not a fan of lemon pepper wings. But this is why there are other wing flavors right? The barbecue flavor was on point and the sweet and tangy was just ok...more sweetness than tang. The wings are really fresh tasting and that's awesome; I'll just have to try other flavor combinations in the future to say if I would recommend or not. read more

Bougie Bites is not afraid to take off the dinner napkin and get our hands dirty for some great wings! Atomic Wings has great food, great prices, and amazing service! Bougie Bites was able to attend the Grand Opening of Atomic Wings on Saturday and we have zero complaints here! As expected there were long lines but if you were patient you were in for an amazing treat! We hope they continue to keep up the great service and amazing flavors. Atomic wings "organic and antibiotic free" quality wings puts them on top of their competitors. Flavors we tried: -BBQ Wings -Atomic Wings -Thai Chili -Garlic Parm -Lemon Garlic Our favorites were definitely the Garlic Parm and Lemon Garlic, but you can NOT go wrong with the traditional classics of BBQ and Atomic (if you love spicy we would suggest you crank it up a notch for abusive or nuclear flavors). Our not so fav Thai Chili...but we can not wait to come back and get our hands on the Jerk BBQ Flavor they sold out FAST!!!!! Other items we loved were the waffle fries (MOUTH WATERING) and their drink selection in the coolers, we love that there were some healthy options in there :). This is easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Not recommended at all!! The wife and kid were with me and wanted to try something out of the ordinary while we were in suburban Maryland. We were drawn by a verbal recommendation to Atomic Wings. When we entered, we sat down with a menu and decided what to order. My kid was hungry, so I quickly ordered with the 15 year old-looking cashier. I ordered the 10-piece chicken meal, large fries, and chicken with rice, lamb with rice, and the fried oreos. We told ourselves we'd eat a bit and then take the rest with us. I told the cashier kid to bring the food out as it was ready, not all at once, so my kid didn't have to suffer any longer. Order after order was placed after us, and I swear all those people got their food. I was still waiting 20 minutes later, so I approached another cashier (15 year old disappeared) and inquired. They were confused, and looked up my order (you don't know who placed the really big order?!), finally finding it a couple of minutes later. They gave me everything together. Fine, whatever. Except...they didn't give me everything. I got the lamb and rice and a small side of fries. I didn't know the difference between the small and large, this being our first time. The lamb and rice came later, with no fries. OK, no biggie. Then the fried oreos came. I asked for it last, but no big deal. Then they gave us a 10 wing dish. I returned it, saying it wasn't our order. I figured they got it mixed up with someone else's. It turns out that they substituted (without asking me) the 10-piece whole chicken meal with the wings, hoping that I wouldn't notice. Some lady come by and asked (rather rudely) what was going on. I told her, and she looked at the receipt and told me that they were totally out of whole chicken pieces. So then why'd they sell it to me? She goes on (with attitude) re-stating that they didn't have my meal. I had to ask for a refund, which she did. This brings me to a man whom I suppose was the owner. He was perched in a corner the whole time, watching everything transpire, without interrupting. Huh? Now all of a sudden he's the big boss?? Am I being too forthright here? So they refunded the 10 piece meal. But they still forgot the large fries. Small fries come with the chicken/lamb over rice meals (they didn't tell me that), and they didn't give me one of those small orders. Now, I get the actual fries I ordered late, and only after the three employees have a pow-wow with each other. What the heck is going on?? Talk about a process implosion. And I might have overlooked all of this had the food been worth the wait...it was most definitely not. The chicken/lamb over rice meals were dry and a sad attempt at kabseh or similar. The wings are all a standard flavor...the various flavors they offer are actually the flavor of the sugar-ridden sauce they give you. Why? Why not season it to order? The actual best part of the meal were the fries, and I've had better. So, in the end, I am not sure how this place has four stars. I have reticence giving it one. Yuck! And thanks for reading. read more

Ordered 2, 20 count boneless wings with waffle fries. After driving the whole way home to eat with my family we find put 20 of the wings we're missing. I called the store back and was originally told the wait was over an hour so I drove back any way and they told me 20 minute wait. This is my first time ordering from Atomic Wings and disappointed with this issue especially being told the manager was too busy to discuss my issue. I am a forgiving person and willing to give them another try in the future. Make sure you check the order. read more

While the cashier was very nice and the restaurant was clean, the food was another story. I ordered honey garlic wings and sweet potato fries. The fries did not have a sweet potato flavor at all. They tasted like they were marinated in some week old chicken grease. The chicken was the most disgusting, tasteless pieces of meat I have eaten on this side of my life. I had to throw the meal away. read more

Nice addition to Hyattsville, especially to have an organic wing shop is a pretty cool concept. We tried the lemon pepper and original hot, both reminded me of Wing Stop flavors minus the extra sauce underneath. The flavors are very similar, the lemon pepper here has more of a tang from the lemon which I enjoyed. The portions however were on the small side, the wings were small (but organic!) yet had enough meat on them. And you can only get them in orders of 5, 10 or 20. I was also charged for one extra dipping sauce, not a big deal but you would think for the two of us we would get atleast one sauce each? read more

WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE EVER! Will never purchase anything from here again. It's been over an hour haven't received my food yet. Will never use ubereats as well. read more

AWFUL. Do not waste your time or starve your hungry belly on this place. Tonight we ordered some wings and a grilled chicken sandwich and waffle fries for me. The best part of my meal was the ketchup packets. The sandwich looked like it had been sat on and the turkey bacon was practically raw. My dog even snubbed his nose. The wings were so dry, as if they were cooked hours before and just seasoned for the order, which is probably why the order was ready in FOUR minutes. Should've cancelled then. $30 in the trash. Will never be back. read more

This place is within its first grand opening week, and I am saying this both as a precursor and disclaimer. With that being said the service was fast and friendly, the menu options and wing sauces were aplenty, and the wings were actually spot on. The meatiness of the wings were centered perfectly between too much and too little. The sauce options I selected were the Atomic Level Spice Traditional Sauce, the Barbecue Jerk and the Thai Chili Sauce. They all were excellent and the spice on them all were exactly what you would want in a wing sauce if you like spice. Jerk BBQ 1, Atomic 2, Thai Sauce 3 in that order of yumminess. Now unfortunately I did not take any photos of the food {insert sad face} simply because I'd like to revisit this place in a few months. With new places I simply like to hold off on any judgement to ensure the level of consistency with the food and service. And lastly, the wings were good, reasonably priced, and invoked within me a felling of nostalgia with memories of the great wings from a newly introduced Cluck-U-Chicken.... And lastly really this time lol... Pictures to come on next visit, I will definitely be a return customer. read more

My job requires me to travel often. I had a taste for chicken my coworker suggested we have lunch at Atomics Wings. Atomic wings is a small building located in a stripmall very bright welcoming inside. The menu is very straightforward providing reasonable options. I decided to try the "Boneless Wings Combo" it comes with choice of sauce, waffle fries, blue cheese, celery and carrots on the side. My choice of dipping sauce was Chipotle BBQ which was tangy yet sweet. The boneless wings were generously covered in bbq sauce and very tender. BTW the waffle fries taste great with ranch sauce. Staff was very kind and patient with me. I look forwarding to try something new and visiting again.  * I devoured my food but here's an idea of what you'll enjoy and experience read more

Let me start with some positives: I was really excited to try this place because it's located in a food desert of mostly lame fast food. The decor is very nice, service was really polite, but the staff was overwhelmed I'd say. I say that because it took WAY too long to receive my order. The good news is that the wings were nice and crispy. Now the critique: I ordered the 3 wings, 3 strips combo. That was a mistake. The strips were slightly undercooked and had a weird texture - like they were over marinated. The waffle fries were just meh. I think it was also a mistake to ask for Thai chili sauce. I am relieved that I got it on the side because there was no heat in that sauce - just cloying sweetness. I may give these folks one more shot for wings only. Maybe. It's hard when Popeyes is literally behind this location though. read more

Great wings- halal place that also offers rice bowls along with wings. Make sure to get fries as well to dip in the wing sauce!

Saw the sign (gone now) saying 1/2 price wings Monday and Tuesday so I set my iPhone alarm accordingly god love it! 10 buffalo wings with one too-small pot of blue cheese dressing for $5 and change is a great deal and they're still very yummy and very quick! I noticed 7-11 has wings for that price so I guess they had to match it especially with a 7-11 right across the intersection. 2:30pm and AW only had a customer coming in every few minutes, I sure hope they're doing enough business to stay put! Hyattsville hasn't got enough good places to eat! I do admit 4 stars is a little generous but 3 stars seems too stingy and if McDonalds has 4 stars, what can I do? BTW AW gets 5 stars for cleanliness especially the females bathroom (how cool, you get a code to unlock it!) -- my own should be so immaculately clean!!! read more

Pretty good chicken. Grand opening day. Nice people, ok service. Chicken tasty. They ran out of alot of standard sauces. They don't know what lemon pepper wet is, lol. Today was s great day. Half off wings...and they were Halal! We kinda went crazy and bought 5 different flavors...Thai Chili, Teriyaki, lemon pepper, jerk BBQ & honey BBQ. I actually liked the sweet potato fries better than the waffle fries ...although they were good enough to eat without the ketchup (sorry ChikFilA). Can't wait til they open their new location nearest me. Met the owner and his wife and they were so amazingly nice and courteous. They served and checked on us. 5 Stars, BaYBee! read more

As of September 2017, the deal went bad. This store dropped the Mondays AND Tuesdays half-price deal on bone-in AND boneless wings. As of now, they only do half-price on Tuesdays and only for the boneless wings. So I have dropped my rating down to 3 stars instead of 4 stars. As many folks have said, their service was really slow, but the wait was okay for the bone-in wings on Mondays and Tuesday and I was willing to drive out there. But wing specials are easy to find throughout the area. Other places have half-price boneless wings on Mondays and Tuesdays; and others have half-price boneless wings on Mondays and Thursdays, while having half-price bone-in wings on Tuesdays. I may stick to chains that have more locations in the area now. read more

The food is pretty tasty, especially their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. The fried chicken is great - fresh and well-seasoned. On my first visit, we dined in and we're impressed by the food and the service. The second time around, I placed an online order, which I thought was great because I could specify the pick-up time I wanted. Well, all I'll say is that this location needs some improvement in coordinating their online orders. My order wasn't ready when I arrived, and there just seemed to be a lot of confusion on the part of the staff. I hope that my next visit is better. read more

Second time at this location and I always get the African American guy as the cashier who lacks basic customer service skills. Walked up to the front and wasn't even greeted... no hi, sup, hey how can I help, nothing. Have I not said anything, we probably would've just continued to stare at each other. Other than that, I have no complaints about the food. Will be back a third time and if the customer service improves, they will get another star from me. read more
