The salsa cups were barely half full, and mostly more spice than flavor. The tortillas on the tacos and burrito weren't toasted - they fell apart while we holding them. The birria burrito came with a consommé that was great, but the burrito itself was wrapped poorly. The meats in each of the items were fine, but not as great as the reviews praised them to be. Perhaps we got them on a bad day? All in all, it's an okay taco truck.

They had their overhead heaters on, a little too warm for me, but my wife enjoyed them. The table was plain, with uncomfortable metal chairs. Our server brought out a carafe of water, which is all we wanted. We both had burritos; my wife chose the carne asada, and I the pollo asada. Mine came with nicely seasoned, tender chicken, crema, and tater tots. I think there might have been more ingredients. They also have a verde and a roja salsa, both of which were very tasty and packed some heat. The large flour tortilla was nicely browned, and both of our burritos were very flavorful. My only complaint is that one end of my burrito did not have any chicken. So, more chicken, otherwise delicious. Our server did a very good job, checking back with us a few times. She was friendly and attentive. I did not care for the noise level. It was very loud, though I could still hear my wife speaking. However, we had a larger party of women near us that were extremely loud, until they received their food, and then they quieted down. But, not a great place if you want to have some quiet conversation. However, we will most certainly be back.

About the flavor difference I don't know the potatoes taste different. The burnt ends taste different. The brisket taste different. They have also made several menu changes and changes to how they advertise in the actual brick-and-mortar location. With all these changes over the last six years, it just does not feel or taste like the same restaurant. And I'm turned off by the refusal of to go orders. It made the sandwich very hearty. The egg yolk was runny and jammy. The cheese fondue was rich and savory. The heirloom tomatoes added a nice freshness to the sandwich. All together it was a very thick sammy. All the flavors were fantastic but it did get overwhelming to eat after few bites. I enjoyed the fondue but it was a lot for me. The fondue is very rich and you add all the other elements and it gets to be too much. If I order this again, I'll probably order it without the fondue. There's already cheese in the sandwich so it was overwhelming with the cheese sauce added to it. My friend ordered the chipotle breakfast sandwich and it looked amazing. It was simple and it looked like something I would have really enjoyed vs what I had ordered. I did ask the gentleman in the food truck if they will have the curry noodles anytime soon. With the cold weather coming, they are anticipating the noodles too be back. I look forward to that! I haven't frequented many food trucks but this one has really set the bar high! I am also a huge fan of the fresh fruit, locally sourced honey and non artificially colored/flavor dyes in some of their syrups. The staff was extremely friendly and had smiles on their faces while helping us. I'm not sure if I should be embarrassed that I had never tried shaved ice but do remember snow cones. It was all explained to me as I was turning around. I can't for sure name the treat I got but think it was some special Hawaiian thing?? I liked it. A cup of shaved ice and Subtle tropical ish flavors. Why not. You know what. It was refreshing. I will definitely try it again.
