I had absolutely no idea this little gem was available to use for events! They completely sanitized and cleaned every square inch before me and my 13 guests (family mostly!) arrived for my husbands bday dinner. It was immaculate. We felt so comfortable because there was one chef who was cooking our food and one waiter to serve vs a restaurant with lots of people. They have a gorgeous outdoor space so we had drinks there and kept the door open then whole dinner for some air. It was great - food was amazing - and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They also provided all of the rentals and the price was right. It probably cost me a bit less then going to some fancy restaurant and the experience was so much more special. My husband was so surprised and loved every second. P.S. the chef re-created my husbands favorite childhood dish to make the menu special. I love that he took the time to do that!

We had finished dinner nearby and were looking for a place to grab a cocktail, when one of my…read morefriends suggested the Hide Rooftop in the Artezen Hotel. The bi-level bar and lounge was dark, swanky, and seductive. It would make an excellent spot for dates or groups of friends, like mine. We started off sitting at the bar, as there were no large tables available upon our arrival. However, after about 15 minutes, the host approached to tell us that he could actually seat us. I picked up my glass, which was wet with condensation, and it slipped out of my hands. I was able to collect it with only a minor spill, but the host insisted that the bar staff make me a new cocktail in case the glass had chipped at all. It was a considerate gesture that I greatly appreciated. Plus, since I had already taken a few sips, I was thrilled to get those back in a new glass! In terms of my cocktail of choice, I had opted for the Hot Tijuana Tease, a fiery blend of mezcal, blanco tequila, chile poblano liqueur, and lime juice. So, it was essentially a spicy margarita, and it was excellent. There were clean, crisp notes of peppery heat balanced with layers of robust smoke. My only complaint about the lounge was that the bathrooms were beyond tiny. There were two unisex stalls in a very tight alcove that also included a cramped sink counter. It was awkward and uncomfortable to share that space with another patron. Aside from that, the Hide Rooftop was a beautiful place with a friendly staff and interesting drinks.

Just found this place and it's a great find…read more Upstairs of a hotel in FIDI, this place got a good amount of indoor seatings. I went when it's cold so their rooftop isn't open. They've got table seatings with happy hour 4 till 7pm mon-wed, 4-6pm thur-fri, and bar seatings is happy hour whole day weekdays. Their happy hour menu doesn't have a huge variety but got some great selections. We had a passion fruit margarita, Amstel beers and some of their boneless chicken wings. Drinks and food were both great. The chicken wings seemed more like nuggets but had a really good batter and was fried nicely, fingers weren't really greasy. So good we ordered another one. There was only one bartender taking our orders so it took a while to place our order since he was really busy but he was super kind and attentive, kept refilling our waters when it got low. This is a great place to wind down whether you just want some food and drinks on you're own after work or if you got a small party to chat with, volume is not too loud. They also had one large table so all good if you're a big group too. I will think their rooftop will be able to seat even more big groups but will come back and find out next time! Great find!

We planned our wedding from out of state, and this proved to be be a non issue for the staff as they easily set up phone call and zoom sessions with us and our coordinator. We felt the pricing and expectations for what was available and offered to us clear and well explained. This is an amazing space that is essentially a beautiful blank canvas, meaning you can do as much or as little as you wish here. Our day of coordinator helped us secure many vendors to fulfill all the duties of the space, almost all who had worked events here before and had nothing but good things to say. When the day of arrived, we were given free reign of the space and politely checked in with every few hours to see if we needed anything on their end. When the wedding kicked into full gear we had a small unexpected hiccup (outside their control), which they promptly worked to fix and followed up with us after the wedding. I really felt they did an amazing job with customer service and providing a clean, open space to make our dreams a reality. We brought in two food trucks, and two drop off catering to which the space lended well. The house bar staff was great and the whole day truly was a dream. TLDR; This is an amazing space, that really lets you fulfill all of your DIY dreams. It's beautiful enough on its own, but lends well to any additions you want to bring in. The house staff was great and we would definitely recommend to friends and family!

My two personal recommendations are: Indigo Bloom. A summery drink thats fruity, vibrant, and topped with I believe mint and flowers. Reverie. It's such as elegant drink. It's velvety, with cocoa nib spice notes and a creamy head. Taste each layer individual then together it was amazing. Beyond the drinks, the service made the night exceptional. Sebestian and James were attentive and professional, making sure every detail in each drink were right. It was exciting watching them create these amazing cocktails. Satyam, honestly is a natural talent. He is passionate about hospitality and making guests feel welcome. He has an energy that makes the bar experience feel personal and special. Keep him he is amazing. Overall, the combination of beautifully crafted cocktails and outstanding hospitality makes this a must-visit spot. I'll definitely return with friends.

Happy hour thankfully runs everyday, as opposed to the usual weekday only HH; I believe it's from 4-7PM. There were two bartenders who were both attentive and really nice. I tried a mojito as well as the bee's knees and was happy with both drinks, found them to be quite strong. Not an extensive food menu, but I saw some light bites and charcuterie boards being ordered. A bit of a random location away from the more restaurant-packed blocks, but thoroughly enjoyed stopping in!

Overall, I would not go out of my way to come here or even wait for a table. I'd only consider eating here if already in the area and you're able to walk in. Ambiance / Service: casual ambiance. Very big spot for locals around the neighborhood. Lots of families with young kids. Tried walking in around 5:30pm on a Friday and it was PACKED. Service was friendly enough, but inattentive. Host told us it would be about 10 minutes for a table in the back but we could sit at the bar in the meantime. He then forgot about us even though we checked back in about the table and proceeded to seat people who came in after us. We ended up just ordering at the bar. Servers brought us the wrong dish and forget our side of jalapeños. Food: this was the biggest miss unfortunately. Nothing was inherently "bad", just missing seasoning. -Queso Fundido: added chorizo. This was by far the best thing we got. It's very greasy so beware, but it's so good. Cheesy, salty, oozy, savory goodness. -Guacamole: this needed more seasoning all around - salt, garlic, lime... it was bland. -Al Pastor Tacos: again, lacked seasoning. Was very bland and meat was dry. Would not order again. -Chicken Tacos: these were pretty flavorful. Nothing crazy, but I would order this again. -Side of Rice & Beans: nothing crazy here. Standard, but fine.
