Visited on 9/12/2025 I stumbled into the Vine after a movie night with my fiancé and we had the pleasure of trying a wide range of cocktails. The 6 pictures. My two personal recommendations are: Indigo Bloom. A summery drink thats fruity, vibrant, and topped with I believe mint and flowers. Reverie. It's such as elegant drink. It's velvety, with cocoa nib spice notes and a creamy head. Taste each layer individual then together it was amazing. Beyond the drinks, the service made the night exceptional. Sebestian and James were attentive and professional, making sure every detail in each drink were right. It was exciting watching them create these amazing cocktails. Satyam, honestly is a natural talent. He is passionate about hospitality and making guests feel welcome. He has an energy that makes the bar experience feel personal and special. Keep him he is amazing. Overall, the combination of beautifully crafted cocktails and outstanding hospitality makes this a must-visit spot. I'll definitely return with friends. read more

The exterior of the building looks almost corporate, but once inside, there's a more comfy vibe with cushioned seating. Pretty full on a Sunday evening when I came in for happy hour. Happy hour thankfully runs everyday, as opposed to the usual weekday only HH; I believe it's from 4-7PM. There were two bartenders who were both attentive and really nice. I tried a mojito as well as the bee's knees and was happy with both drinks, found them to be quite strong. Not an extensive food menu, but I saw some light bites and charcuterie boards being ordered. A bit of a random location away from the more restaurant-packed blocks, but thoroughly enjoyed stopping in! read more

Neighborhood spot with inventive cocktails. They have a summer and winter menu with seasonally appropriate drinks that they switch between, so if you haven't been in a while the menu will likely be different. I love that this place is lively on a Saturday night yet not overly loud, and you won't have to wait for a seat if you're a party of 2 or 3. The bartenders are cool and they're frequently mixing up the music genres to keep things interesting. Keep in mind that they are a cocktail bar so the beer selection is limited. Drinks are NYC cocktail prices so it adds up quickly, but these are more fun and interesting than the usual. read more

I tried to go to this bar on Fourth of July and it was closed. There was no sign to say there were holiday hours and several people were also showed up confused. There should be better communication to avoid issues like this. read more

Brought a couple ladies with me to celebrate the tail end of a hectic and tiresome week. We arrived for the last hour of happy hour because we are all about the happy hour specials. I ordered the passion fruit martini as did one of my girlfriends. The other one ordered a very pretty mocktail. We loved the martini so much we ordered another round and added a hummus plate to share. I am very happy to discover a new happy hour place that ticks all the boxes - not crazy busy, good prices, good cocktails, vegan selections and great ambience. read more

A fun spot for cocktails tucked into the heart of Downtown Brooklyn -- there are plenty of bar seats and tables, and we didn't have to wait to snag a spot for weeknight drinks. I loved how refreshing the drinks were -- recommend the Makana (guava base and on the fruitier side) and La Sandía (watermelon base and super fresh). Cute little bar with a jungle tropical paradise vibe. My husband and I really enjoyed our time here, they have some really cool, picture worthy looking drinks such as their endeavour martini which has bubble/foam on top of the martini, it is great for those who like salty drinks as it was too salty for me. As well as their resolution which is kind of like an espresso martini except they use a coffee foam on top which I could not get enough of, would love some of the coffee foam in my everyday coffee. We also got their mariner which was a tequila drink with refreshing notes from the watermelon soda and hints of cucumber and lime. As well as the crown colada which unfortunately for me was a bit underwhelming. Tastes pretty good and refreshing like a pina colada however the description said there was japanese plum wine and sparkling wine, the plum wine was not working for me with all the other ingredients and sadly I did not detect any hints of carbonation from the sparkling wine. I encourage you to eat before coming to this bar as they only have drinks and snacks. we got their meat & cheese plate, for being in New York and the amount and variety you get for the price, it is definitely an excellent option for snacks with your drinks. If you don't come for their creative drinks, you gotta come here for their bartenders, they were so nice to talk to, friendly and funny and they take real good care of you! read more

Great spot for drinks, tucked away from the busier parts of downtown Brooklyn so there's less foot traffic. Cocktails dominate the menu - there are the usual staples (old fashioned, bee's knees, penicillin...) and some unique variations. They also have beer and wine available. The happy hour isn't the best deal, but that's because prices are already pretty hard to beat! Beers are all less than $10, and cocktails are $13 each ($11 during happy hour). The interior is a bit dark, but modern and with plenty of bar seating. They also have a good amount of outdoor table seating, which I'm sure will be popular during nice weather. read more

In our search for a neighborhood bar spot, we found this one attached to the wine store. We were pleasantly surprised the service here is great and the drinks were very well made. Nice selection of cocktails on the menu, good vibes here, it's small but very neighborhood-y if there is such a thing! Will definitely go back.. It wasn't crowded on a Friday night, but it was a gloomy chill night at the beginning of summer. Look forward to going back and hanging out in the outdoor space/ street walk. read more

This used to be my go-to place, but during a recent visit I was pretty let-down. They are under new management/ownership and it definitely shows. The main draw for me in the past was the inventive cocktails at reasonable prices. They would switch between summer and winter menus, both with their own unique sets of adventurous drinks! The best part was that those drinks would generally be in the $16-18 range, with happy hour selections (more standard fare like bees knees, penicillin, etc.) at $12. There was also a small but tasty selection of snacks/light fare. Well, the happy hour drinks have stayed, but the menu was otherwise very much changed when I last visited. The "signature" cocktails (which felt significantly less inventive) started at $18 or so and went up into the $20 range! When we visited, there was also no food to be found on the menu. The general vibe of the place hasn't changed much, which is a good thing in my book. It's quiet enough to still hold a conversation at normal speaking volume. Our bartender was friendly and attentive as well. Honestly, apart from maybe the happy hour deals, I don't really see much of a reason to go back at this point. Very disappointed with the direction new management is taking things in. I understand things are expensive in NYC, but it feels like they're trying to position themselves as a slightly more premium bar, but the offerings and vibe don't quite match. read more

Dropped in on a Wednesday just to relax before dinner and were so happy that we did. Dustin tending bar was very attentive and owner Colin came out, sat with us and talked with us awhile, explaining the origin of their drinks. He recommended the Ambrosia that I was interested in but initially hesitant because of the Greek yogurt element. Boy was I wrong. This drink had clarified Greek yogurt that added a hint of creamy taste without being overwhelming or thickening the drink whatsoever. You will not be disappointed with this or any other selection. I've lived in this area for almost 3 years and have my frequent stomping grounds in the area of Downtown Brooklyn/Boreum Hill. I decided to try a new area based on the reviews of Yelp in addition to the drink menu that I looked at prior to coming. My boyfriend and I were able to get a spot at the bar on a Friday night. The space is small and has about (6-7) 2 person tables and a larger table that can ~4 people. Bar area has maybe around 8-10 seats. The drinks are well thought out and delicious with Dustin, an amazing bartender and mixologist, who carefully crafted each drink that was ordered (he did a sniff test as well as a taste test by dipping a straw and tasting then throwing away the straw to ensure the quality). I've been to countless bars in Manhattan and most do not put in the care and attention to detail that Dustin does. And a lot of the drinks in Manhattan are okay as a result of that. Also, shoutout to Axel who was super sweet and kind in addition to Dustin, who was so friendly and explained our drinks to us. Definitely check this space out - you'll love the ambiance and vibes there's. I appreciated that there was no loud music blasting or super low lights that you can barely see anything. Underrated, low key, and somewhat of a hidden gem... weekend happy hours are hard to come by, but Vine dishes out $10 cocktails from 5-7 PM daily, and they're delicious ones at that. This is such a great spot with great atmosphere and drinks! Very extensive cocktail list, including fun tropical and mixed drinks, and also classics. The interior has a nice long bench and a bar that's good for socializing, and there's an outdoor space too. Their frozen drinks are their signature! So good in the summertime. All the staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the adjacent store allows fo convenient shopping afterwards or before till 10pm. read more

Finally had a chance to stop by after seeing this place pop up a few times. Figured we would just drop in for a casual drink before moving on with our night but was overall pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drinks and snacks. Menu was full of interesting and well-executed concepts, which is surprisingly rare even for NYC. I can't even tell you how many places I've gone to with seemingly interesting cocktails that ended up tasting like ass. Ended up stopping by again the next day and ordered a couple drinks + cheese board + pretzel. Cocktails and cheese board were great though I would pass on the pretzel next time. Such great service! The staff, including the manager and the owner, cares about your experience. All of the food is local and tasty. Always love stopping by for a drink at a local spot!
