The Trio is delicious. I didn't quite understand why you could choose a different sauce per protein until I saw how it was presented, it's drizzled over the top of the bowl. I got the Trio and it was amazing. They drizzled the perfect amount of sauce on it. The salmon was so buttery and the tuna and hamachi tasted so fresh. It comes with masago, mixed greens, carrots, cucumber, asparagus, wakame, edamame and spicy may/sweet eel sauce. It is pure perfection and I couldn't have thought up a better bowl if I tried. When I ordered they said it would be 15 minutes and they were right on the money. They text when your order is ready. The people working there are really nice. It was easy to find a table close by. I love how bright and airy this food hall is. I would go to this place every time. read more

Was a little skeptical trying here but came out pleasantly surprised and satisfied. I got the curry rice bowl with chicken katsu. It also came with corn and broccoli, both of which were chilled. Had those been warm, I would've enjoyed it more bc they were both seasoned perfectly! The chicken also was juicy and retained a bit of crunch when eaten with the slightly spicy curry sauce. I even was surprised by the rice which is usually cooked too mushy for my taste, but had a great texture. Worth a try for sure! read more

FAMILY POKE BOWL ADVENTURE!!! We all love the Poke Bowls from ATO!!! This trip me and my Girls went for lunch. The fish, ingredients and add ons are always fresh. Food to Value = very good!!! Price point is average in comparison to competitors, about 12-15$ per bowl. The difference is the quality of the food. ATO is definitely at the high end in food quality. One of the best places to get a Poke bowl from. AS ALWAYS, TRY IT DOR YOURSELF!!! read more

The portions are pretty bad for what you pay for especially for add ons, they basically just wanna get the orders out of the way, other then that the service is good but it's just the portions that makes it terrible the one in winter haven doesn't portion like that at all read more

As one of the few spots in Lakeland to get a poke bowl, Ato really holds down the fork (it was funny just admit it). They are located in the Joinery amidst a couple other good food options, but most of the time I just end up coming back to good ole Ato. The poke bowls are just really, really good. It's always really fresh ingredients and it's fun to even get gyoza or crab rangoons sometimes as an extra treat. Not only can you get poke bowls, but you can spice it up a little and get a sushi burrito. Yes, it is pretty much a sushi roll that hasn't been cut up yet, but it's still pretty darn good. If you are at all a sushi/ poke fan, Ato is a valid choice for downtown eats! read more

Pretty decent sushi bowls and rolls. Just need to get better at customer service. Lacks that 100%

Well we rolled in 30 deep on a charter bus full of collegiate athletes that just finished a game and Ato took amazing care of my team. They were kind, attentive and the service was quick considering. Never a moment of panic when their line was long and they worked with us to break up the payment to make it easier on them. The poke bowls were very big and my ladies were beyond excited and happy with the taste and quality of the food. I appreciate that so much and made the bus ride home great!! Thank you Ato for one of our best post game meals yet!! The joinery overall is a really neat spot, even found some of our parents hanging out after the game. The outside is very inviting and a lot of people out enjoying the less humid weather of the evening. I highly recommend Ato for small groups or even giant ones like ours. read more

Best poke bowl I've ever had. Service was solid and all ingredients tasted fresh. I got the tuna bowl and it was delicious. Price was typical. Seemed like a clean set up and food came out fast. Will definitely be back read more

Her crepes are delicious and she is super kind. The crispy rolls are super nice and not soggy at all.

Delicious sushi burrito for a quick lunch. Miso soup was fine but not too hot and the fried tofu was a nice textural component. The Joinery is a cool food hall with a modern vibe and definitely somewhere we'd visit again read more

The portions have become smaller and the rice is no longer fresh. It has a weird dry but mushy texture almost like it was frozen and then reheated. I was very displeased with the meal, especially for the price. read more

Ato is a solid goto when visiting the Joinery. A slightly paired down version of Zukku in Tampa still offers a decent selection. You can't go wrong with a make your own double protein bowl. Serving sizes are typically pretty good for the price. Especially since there are not many other options like this nearby. read more

Lunch here at the joinery. Part of their great selection. Food was yummy and fresh and ready pretty quickly. Not the best ever but pretty good and worth a repeat. We got two poke bowls and both so good. Recommend read more

So ATO is one of a few restaurants within the Location known as The Joinery. This review is for The ATO only not The Joinery overall. I have been coming to the Joinery since it opened several years ago. Since I love all things sushi and Asian food I fell in love with this restaurant. They had a sushi burrito called the Godzilla which I wish I had a picture of. They were amazing and had a significant amount of raw chunks of tuna and a sauce that I couldn't get enough of. It was huge. So today having come to Lakeland for work I decided to stop here again for the beloved Sushi Burrito Godzilla. So when I received my burrito I pointed out to my wife that it looked much smaller than in times past. Once I bite into it I realized there were no chunks of tuna but a ground up version and not really much of that. For a burrito costing north of $16 it really was a disappointment. I did speak with the manager about my disappointment with it but he told me that this was the way it's always been made. Since I have had this dish several times over the years I truly was disappointed with this response. I feel like a better description would be a sushi roll not a Burrito. I guess next time I visit The Joinery I will eat somewhere else. read more

It's a just okay poke bowl situation. A lot more expensive than most places I have personally been to for a poke bowl. Hey that's the power of the branding. Being that this was one of the only "cold" food options at The Joinery on a 98 degree Florida day, I almost felt stuck with it. My Florida Bowl had a great amount of avocado and a decent serving of. Serving of fish. The rice had a lot of vinegar in it, which I do like, but if you prefer a more traditional sushi rice (less sweet) than you might be better getting the bowl on greens. The young man working was not rude but couldn't have cared less that I existed. read more

Calling their sushi rolls sushi burritos and charging $12.50 for them is a bit of a scam here. The item I was served was most certainly not a sushi burrito. The poke bowls look like a much more reasonable portion for the price. The service here was pretty mediocre. If I came back to the joinery I'd definitely go for ramen or pizza over Āto because the quality, portions, and service at the other spots just far exceed this one. Could use a more flavorful sauce offering to add, especially if they're calling this a sushi burrito. read more

Ok so I think this place is pricey for a poke place in Florida, I've had better with more options. If you do online order for pickup they tell you it'll be ready in like 30 minutes but it's done in 10 so you don't even have a chance to pick it up when it's fresh. read more

I have been coming here for almost 1yr now. I was ready to stop going after my last few visits. It seemed like every time we went there were new people, out of most ingredients, higher prices, quality not as good as before. Decided to give it a try tonight one last time. I was definitely surprised that it was better than it has been in 1yr. Who ever they had on staff tonight wearing a white coat they need to keep!! The quality is what I was use to, all ingredients were available and he was actually friendly. I hope next time we return it will have this same quality. Hopefully they can keep the staff that we're working today. We always do a build your own poke bowl. Tonight everything tasted fresh. read more

The lead Humphrey that assisted us was not the friendliest and that's me be nice. I found it to be over priced and my daughters poke had a mountain of cream cheese which was pretty gross to me. The place is nice but I won't be going back to them. What I don't understand is why do people work with public because if they are bitter or just plain rude then don't deal with the customers and instead prepare the poke bowls. Our first impression is important and this gentleman was not a very good first impression. read more

Love the Godzilla sushi burrito! The workers are kind and gave me a good recommendation. And there's plenty of seating nearby.

This is one of the restaurants in The Joinery, an upscale food court of sorts, in Lakeland. This is the Sushi restaurant there (there are other types of restaurants there from burgers to Mexican to pizzas). The menu is pretty good with a wide variety of choices. The Kraken looked great and tasted delicious but it was tiny. It looked like a kids meal sans any sides. It might be ok for some but for hungry men it isn't enough. Plan on ice cream at Mayberry after or an appetizer before. That said their storefront was clean, employee was friendly and it didn't take long to get your food. The service used to be kind and professional. Now, the "kids" running it seem annoyed by the fact that they must take your order and prepare your food. Heaven forbid that you should ask for an item to be subbed. I've always requested that the jalapeños be subbed for edamame on my spicy salmon bowl. This has never been a problem until recently. Now, they're charging me extra. Up until today, I've tolerated the subpar service. However, this evening the spicy salmon bowl was half the serving size as I've previously received. Can't justify eating here again. Come on, ATO owners. Please "fix" the issues with your staff, their service, and the food portions. read more

Had my second poke bowl from here tonight. Absolutely delicious the first time and even better this time. The staff was friendly both times and even got a couple laughs out of me. Overall great experience! Wish I got more protein and seaweed salad though. Only one thing to note: -The ponzu is house made I believe because it is extra sweet instead of the citrusy sour I was looking for. I would post a pic but I devoured my bowl in minutes. :) read more

My poke bowl was SO good, I didn't have a chance to take a picture of it because I ate it so fast! Seriously, I just wanted something nice and light... ended up having one of the best tasting poke bowls I've had in a long long time.
