Found this place on accident this morning and we were pleasantly surprised with the how amazing the food was. Full of flavor! We got the donut holes, a breakfast burrito and a new breakfast bowl menu item called good thyme hash (I added some cheese). Best breakfast I've had in a long time, we will be back!

Good Thyme is a hidden gem in Lakeland. Fast casual style service. Very convenient ordering ahead from toasttab app. The food is always delicious and is priced fairly. Love the chicken biscuit and if you like spice, try it Nashville hot style. The breakfast burrito is one of the best I've ever had! Try it with the house made hot sauce!

The best kept secret in Lakeland. It's quaint and has delicious, healthy take out options! Nestled right behind Concord coffee is a hip hole in the wall cafe with outdoor shaded seating. Dietary restrictions- say no more- GLUTEN FREE, vegan and vegetarian options available! Daily specials available - don't forget to ask about those- I got the breakfast tacos! Breakfast tacos- egg, I subbed chorizo for bacon, potatoes, salsa, cilantro On corn tortillas that didn't call apart with hot sauce on the side ! Delish! FYI 3 tacos will cost ya about $10 with tax- plenty of food for 1! Could have even shared a taco with my toddler if she was with me :) Excellent customer service!

When I found out about Good Thyme's soft opening last week I knew I needed to get there ASAP! I came for lunch and was not surprised they were busy! It's a take out / picnic or packed lunch type of flow that makes them different than other establishments in Lakeland. When you walk up you order at a counter and pick up your meals around the corner at the pick up window. There is limited bar style seating outside under umbrellas only. The lunch menu had many options and many of them were easily customizable to be made cruelty free and plant based. I tried two dishes: their Jambalaya with seitan was delicious, the dish had a slight heat to it and the rice was the perfect texture you would expect. I'm not sure if they make their own seitan but it was very good, one of the best I've had! The stir fry with seitan was full of veggies and had great flavor, I really liked that it was a little blackened, it added more depth to the dish. In my opinion the stir fry was a little too salty but I would eat it over and over again! I can't wait to go back and try their vegan biscuits and gravy! But I'll have to make it there by 11am to grab them. They don't have menu times listed yet, but only serve breakfast 7a - 10a, 10a -11a is a transition period to lunch but biscuits and gravy are still available. I heard they are planning to open more hours and possibly weekend but right now it's only 7a - 3p M-F. Area of improvement: Though all of the meals come in recyclable containers I didn't see any recycling bins around the outside bar seating area. The utensils didn't look to be made of a recyclable material which could be why. I would love to see them switch to completely low waste/ compostable packaging and utensils in the future and have the proper bins on site. I can see Good Thyme becoming a neighborhood favorite quickly! And I will be back!

Their fried chicken sandwich is better than Chick-fil-a's and better than Popeye's! Served on a brioche bun, with honey mustard and sweet-heat pickles. The pickles are homemade and the mustard is just tangy enough. So so delicious. They have packets of Red's hot sauce if you want it hotter like I did. Served with a side--about 4 or 5 to choose from. I got the Street Corn and that was also tasty! I'm not sure why the restaurant is labeled as vegan. They do have some vegan options but also serve meat. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast menu, because I've heard great things about it. I just wish they were opened later and on the weekends. I know that's a tricky locations since there have been a few restaurants there in the past. I hope they get more business so they can stay opened for a long time to come! Super friendly and accommodating staff. Food came out in less than 10 minutes.

The whole atmosphere is exactly what you want -- clean, positive, chill, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The ordering experience is so easy. There's a giant menu when you walk in, and then big touchscreen LCD menus that honestly feel like the food court screens at IKEA. Every restaurant should switch to this -- save paper, save plastic, and make life easier for everyone. I built my own bowl and grabbed the kale + Fuji apple smoothie. It's not a thick smoothie -- more like something between a juice and an icy -- but still really refreshing and really good. The bowls come in to-go boxes automatically, so you just ask for a lid if you need one. Super convenient. I highly recommend this spot. I don't eat out much, but I'd definitely go back. They even have an app now with $5 off your first order, which I'll definitely be using because the food was that delicious. As someone who has been vegetarian my whole life and fully vegan since early 2025, I can honestly say this place hit every single mark. Not one bad thing to say. It's that good.

There's such a wide variety of healthy food. Here you will find kale, romaine, zucchini noodles, quinoa, brown rice, chickpeas, black beans cucumber, onions, tomatoes, carrots, nuts/seeds, raisins, avocados, eggs, goat cheese, lean cuts of beef, chicken, salmon and so much more. Since everything is cooked to order, you can customize, add, subtract and really create your own meal. There's a little something for everyone, from salad, wraps, bowls, juices, and even food for kids. I enjoy the fact that I can buy a few bowls to help with meal prepping for the week. It saves me time in the kitchen. Catering is also available so you can share healthy eating with others or utilize it to save money when you are trying to feed your family for a little less. The restaurant is a small but is accommodating with an indoor sitting area and also has a few tables and chairs for outdoor dining as well. Pick up is a breeze you prepay or use Uber Eats/Door Dash simply grab and go from the grab and go area. If you decide to order in the restaurant, you can either use the touch screen or place your order with staff at the register. I just wish there were more locations in Orlando and Kissimmee.

Giving 2 stars because the service was good…read more.. It's been probably 10 years since I last went to Gators, which wasn't this location but I remember it being pretty good. I can't say the same for the food experience today. The mozzarella sticks tasted very plain and the marinara tasted like it was from one of those microwave frozen marinaras. It was just disgusting. I ordered the wings which the flavor was nice, but was semi-disappointed because I got 6 drums and 2 flats. Flats are better, but I just would assume I'd get at least 4 and 4. The fries were okay, not really very hot though. My wife got the chicken Philly with onion petals. She said the chicken Philly was okay and would probably get it again, but the onion petals were terrible. She said while they had a nice seasoning on the outside, more than half of them were still raw and crunchy (not from the batter), and luke warm to cold. The hostess was very friendly and loved our baby. The server, Benji, was great. He checked on us and refilled us without asking. He was friendly, but he'd make more at a place with higher quality food.

I switched to mayonnaise, which made it much better for me. The fried pickles on the sandwich were a little unusual, but not bad. I had tater tots on the side, and they were solid. My wife ordered the mini burgers with fries--both were pretty good. For dessert, we tried the apple tart (dumpling) with vanilla ice cream and caramel. It was a nice finish to the meal and enjoyable overall. Brianna was our waitress and did an excellent job. She checked on us regularly and provided very good service throughout.

The woman taking our order was semi-abrasive in the beginning, but chilled out somewhat by the end of placing our order. I ordered the Ciabatta Cheesesteak sandwich and she ordered the Frontega Chicken sandwich. I wasn't impressed, as over the years past, with my sandwich. There was not enough meat and the flavors just did not provide me with a, "yum, that's pretty good, I think we will have to come back one day" feeling. The wife's sandwich was "too peppery" for her so we swapped halves. Meh, I wasn't impressed with that sandwich either. The wife ordered just water. The "free" water, from the soda dispenser, was terrible and undrinkable, with a foul odor and heavy (nasty) hard metallic taste. We realize the water in Florida is "hard" and the reason we obtained a purifier for our home, but this needs to be rectified in a restaurant. My ice tea tasted fine. I'm giving this place a 2 star (could've been better) rating, while the wife would probably give them a 4 star (good) rating even with the nasty tap water. My Yelp account, thus my rating. The vibe is awesome with brick walls, tasteful decor, and pleasant music, and just what I look for in a local coffee shop. Prices are fairly reasonable with many drink and food options. Although there was a bit of line when I visited, it moved quickly and staff was efficient in getting ordered items out to guests. I went with a white mocha frappe (5/5), asking for it to be made less sweet. It's not something I ordinarily see on the menu at local coffee shops, so was delighted at how good it was, with just the right amount of sweetness to it. It's shame that there's nothing like it at coffee shops close to where I live, as it's something that'd be in my regular rotation of caffeinated drinks I'd order. The standout for me was the Holiday Ham breakfast sandwich, and it absolutely lived up to its name. Built on a flaky buttermilk biscuit, it layers a light, fluffy egg soufflé with thinly sliced ham, praline bacon that adds just the right touch of sweetness, and a cranberry orange jam that ties everything together with a bright, unexpected pop. Every bite tasted thoughtful and seasonal without being overcomplicated--comfort food elevated. I paired it with Jennie's Dolce seasonal espresso drink, and it was so good I immediately wanted another. Even more impressive? The second one tasted just as perfect as the first--a small detail that says a lot about their consistency and care behind the bar. The coffee shop ambience immediately stands out, with a relaxed yet polished vibe that makes it just as ideal for a casual morning as it is for catching up on work or meeting friends. Service was warm and efficient, and you can tell this place has become a staple in the downtown community. If you appreciate creative twists on classic breakfast favorites and expertly crafted coffee drinks, Black & Brew is well worth the stop. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
