Stopped by here on the way back to ATL from Gulf Shores…read more I'm so glad we did! This is real bbq by real people who care. You could see the trophies all around the dining room. The couple that run it could not have been nicer. We sampled pork brisket, ribs. They threw in some more ribs chicken for us to sample. I would happily order any of them again. They have a homemade sauce that's quite good in addition to some additional choices for sauce. In order of enjoyment I would rank: 1. Ribs 2. Pork 3. Brisket 4. Chicken. Again all were excellent!!! They also were playing Praise & Worship on a Sunday which was a welcome bonus! I will certainly come back if I'm in the area.

Chicken tenders, peas, casserole, veggies, and roll were as expected. The catfish was delicious and I don't even like catfish. My 3 year old ate over half an adult portion of the spaghetti. (I ate the rest. It was good! ) the cornbread is sweet, just fyi. The cobbler was pretty good. There are tables, but not many. I would eat here again if I was traveling through, but probably wouldn't travel out of my way to come here.

This is a great local bbq restaurant in the town of Atmore, Al. We stopped in for lunch and found…read morethe customer service very helpful and kind and the food delicious. We enjoyed a ribs dinner which comes with two sides, and we chose, pictured below, yams and Mac and cheese (12.99). The sauce was really good and the rib meat literally fell off the bone. It came with two pieces of bread. We also got a beef sandwich (6.97), which was truly packed with beef. It wasn't a very long wait and the customers were coming in and out consistently on an off time Saturday afternoon, showing the locals love it. I was also thankful they share their Christian faith right on the wall of the restaurant. Five stars.

I actually came here based off a picture I had seen from the previous reviews and I was not let down. Shrimp was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Ribeye (cooked medium) was a bit chewy but nothing intolerable. I had the rusty dip as well. It was okay. I've never had chorizo but it was a bit too oily for my liking. Service was just okay, there was no dinner rush but I kept having to ask for basic things like refills, utensils to eat with, etc. Strawberry lemonade frozen margaritas were delicious as well with great prices all around for everything. Still 5 star quality but these few quirks made me give em a 4 star rating. I would definitely return if i get the chance.
