This review has been a long time coming (yes, that's a Taylor reference)... TL;DR: They, literally, watched my dog decline (and die the next day) in front of their eyes DURING our appointment and said "you'll have to make another appointment." So let's go back... We're new to the 'hood. We come in with our two fur babies for getting their shots updated. They actually muzzle Ozzie. Dear reader, he is 12 lbs and had 2 teeth. Even our cat just stands her ground and is all "yeah, ok." Big bark and, literally, no bite. He was terribly abused when we got him. And he's absolutely the sweetest thing. The one tech, literally, jumped up on the table to get away from him. And he didn't even approach her, he just barked. He's a traveler and we're movers. He's been to over 10 vets in different cities. This was the first time anyone had the audacity to muzzle him. There was no need. Huge red flag. (And has we tell this story to our neighbors, we hear "OMG, same thing here!" These are vets and techs who straight up do NOT like animals and do NOT know how to work with them.) So despite that first drama and red flag, we go back. Eddie is 14.5 yrs old and suddenly can't really walk well. We make an appointment and take him in. DURING the appointment he goes from walking in the door to his back legs, literally, no longer working. He couldn't stand, move, or anything. We're in tears. The vet says "Well, that's not the reason you made the appointment, so you'll need to make a new appointment." Uh, no, this was the reason. There's something happening. Welp, dear reader, he passed that weekend. We left this place and went immediately to VEG (the ER vet), who then sent us for an MRI in the middle of the night at a vet ER in Annapolis. The next morning, we got the call that a tumor was, very literally, breaking his back. The vet here gave him gabapentin and kicked us out. WHILE SHE, LITERALLY, WATCHED HIM GO FROM WALKING TO NOT BEING ABLE TO MOVE HIS BACK LEGS. What. The. Actual. Fuck. The people here do NOT care about your pets. Not in the slightest. They are rude. They are scared of the animals they claim to "treat." They are the worst. I cannot comprehend how they have good reviews. And yet, everyone we talk to in the neighborhood relays stories like ours. If you love your pet, do NOT take them here. Stay far far away. They are worthless and uncaring. Never in my life of 10+ different vets in different states have we ever encountered such "treatment." read more

AtlasVet is wonderful. It's staff are so friendly and helpful and the vets are so great with the pets. Every time I bring my two babies in, I know they're in good hands, and that they'll treated gently and kindly. My cat was just diagnosed with asthma and the doctor was able to diagnose it quickly and give me peace of mind- as well as to get my cat the medicine he needed. This will be my forever vet as long as I'm in DC. read more

Make sure you are NOT getting stuck with a "relief veterinarian". They have no allegiance to the practice or to your dog. Atlas failed to disclose they were sticking me with some nasty relief vet who didn't listen to a thing I said, refused to treat my dog - let's see what happens and you can bring her in Monday and Thursday next week" and had the front desk ring me out with an exam bill for no exam, a big bag of $60 kibble, and medicine for who knows what... Atlas was apologetic but the practice of sticking you with some random "vet" SUCKS. Everybody has a backup vet who can be trusted to care for your dog. I liked Atlas and drive cross town to take my dog there. Now, I'm in the market for a more trustworthy veterinary practice read more

When I first got my dog he became sicker and sicker under Atlas vet's care, I went to their vets multiple times about my dog's stomach issues and they kept insisting that I continue to feed my dog chicken and rice. I started getting really worried. I called my parent's long time vet, and he guessed what it was over the phone. My dog was allergic to chicken, and that wasnt the only major missed diagnosis during that period. Atlas is close to my house and it was six years later so I thought I'd give them another chance for just a teeth cleaning. I was told I had to go to the office to get an estimate. They literally took my dog's heart rate looked at his teeth and posture. Not an exaggeration, I was out of the office in fewer than ten minutes. The office charges me $107 to give me an estimate on a teeth cleaning. When I emailed, the office said the vet also do an exam and had to take notes afterwards. His notes would have taken less than two minutes to write. This place is an absolute scam. I never write negative reviews, but stay away from Atlas vet. Follow up: I went to another vet, and they provided an estimate for a dental cleaning for free. Their price was 1/5 of Atlas vet's estimate for the cleaning. There was a wait, but it was worth it. I looked at other complaints about Atlas, and someone else had a similar issue with Atlas failing to disclose their prices. This seems to be an ongoing issue. read more

From start to finish -- my experience with AtlasVet was something I would recommend to any dog/cat owner. I called, because we suspected our dog had a UTI he was dealing with, looking for an immediate appointment. They were booked for the next 10 days but promised to call back if they had a cancellation or sudden opening in their schedule. Mind you, I called after I got home from work (around 7:45 PM and they close at 8 PM). The associate on the phone provided me phone numbers for six other veterinarians in the area. Before I could even get around to calling all six, the associate from AtlasVet called me back (around 9:30 PM -- well after their closing hours) to inform me that I'd be able to get my dog in the following day. I was BLOWN AWAY. They were professional, friendly and patient throughout the entire process of setting up an appointment, getting my dog in for his examination and diagnosing the problem. I went home with antibiotics, a negative heartworm test result and the booster shots my dog was due for. He's a happy camper about 5 days later, with no urination discomfort :) read more

I've been with Atlas for 5+ years. Was not surprised when they recently (2 or 3 weeks ago) raised the rate for a tech visit (monthly arthritis injection for my old dog) a few dollars. Was very surprised TODAY at an appt to learn that the rate had gone up again by $12, so the appointment could be 30 minutes and they could spend more time on medical history. This is a monthly shot. Not only that, but waited 15 minutes - for improved care? I'm a bit disappointed. read more

I've been coming here for many years until I've moved to other states, then came back after we returned to the region. The comparison between Atlas Vet and other established vets is hideous to say the least. They will do everything to get the most money out of you. I was on the phone with them about taking my dog in for one simple anal gland, by the time we arrived, they pressured us into doing multiple other services without ever discussing it on the phone beforehand. When we came in here to refill a prescription, what should have taken 5 minutes turned into over 30 minutes wait because of their incompetence and ineffectiveness. When we come for a doctor checkup, they spent maybe 5 minutes max before charging us over $200. If it only took 5 minutes, why not just discuss on the phone? Like other reviewers, I'll never take my dogs here again. They may be well-known, but at the end of the day, they are a for-profit business looking to make money off of concerned pet parents. read more

AtlasVet has been my family veterinarian since 2018, when I adopted my first cat. Wallace had to go through two different procedures--one at Atlas and one at Friendship Animal Hospital--to address a benign growth. Everyone at AtlasVet was friendly, patient, attentive and caring about my little guy; I never felt like a customer in an industrial operation. I can tell every receptionist, vet tech and veterinarian truly cares for the pets they see, and this care is reflected throughout the entire operation. Now in early 2023, AtlasVet helped me through a scary medical situation with my first dog. I was in hysterics and everyone at AtlasVet from those answering phones to the incredible medical director Dr. Cartlidge were calming and helpful. I got a thorough overview of my options for Vivian, timely email follow ups about her test results, and AtlasVet was able to squeeze her in for a same day appointment too. When I've had financial challenges the wonderful folks at AtlasVet (s/o Lorna!) have done everything they can to work together and find a solution. I will never change vets--this operation is really special. My happy and healthy animals are absolutely a result of AtlasVet's incredible care and devotion. Thank you AtlasVet, Drs. A previous review of this place I called out a tech for how he was holding my cat in her carrier in a rough manner. The tech sent me a nasty message on here. He had some crazy justification about some medical condition he had and he wasn't able to hold the carrier properly. And the condition ultimately landed him in the hospital and jobless. So two things, Atlas very well might not care about their employees nor how people view their staff. Atlas never reached out to me about the review, unlike every other business seems to on here to address my concern. I've left many positive reviews. Even less than positive reviews for other businesses. When there was some contact and an explanation I changed the review. Atlas seems to not care or feel they owe an explanation. read more

I'm giving our vet one star because ever since the pandemic, they have been slipping. Today, Friday September 10, 2021, I called at 10am to see about getting our cavapoo in. They gave me an appointment for 230p. I arrived at 2p and dutifully waited outside. I called to get checked in and they hung up on me- probably by accident. But I'd given my dog's name. I proceeded to stand, not sit so I'd be visible to all staff inside. about 12 pets came and went. Around 240p, I attempted to speak to one of the technician's who came out, and you would've thought I was a homeless person in ragged clothes asking for money; I wasn't able to say anything more than the first syllable of my first word because he made it clear he was out there to retrieve another pup, and my pup wasn't who he was tasked with coming to get. About 4 techs came out throughout the time I was out there and looked at me and never said one word- in 40 minutes. I finally decided to "push" past the annoyed look on one staffer's face and ask about our dog's appointment and she said she'd check. So finally, after 45 minutes of standing outside- 15 minutes later than our appointment time, we got in. I wasn't going to post anything, but I was just extraordinarily annoyed. Why would a woman be standing outside a vet's office with a bright pink pet carrier for nearly an hour without an appointment? How is it that NONE of the technicians-- many of whom I'd, at this point, seen come and go and get other humans and their pets, two-three times each-- stopped to say "have you been seen? Or, "do you have an appointment?" I will credit them for getting me in as soon as I successfully pulled a staffer to the side to ask what was going on. However, given that the sidewalk is pretty much the extension of the waiting room, why not just poke your head out and call a dog's name at the time they are scheduled for the appointment? I have a headache from standing there in the heat all that time. Lastly, the air is stagnant inside the exam room so was in. I am disappointed they haven't put air purifiers in exam rooms. You physically can't be more than 3 feet away from another human in some of those exam rooms. We don't always have a negative experience there, but I will note that a contributing factor to my decision to post this is the dismissive indifference I feel from staff every time I am there. read more

I brought my kitten in for 2 reasons. 1: vaccines (which by the way the first dose had an issue and cats administered this vaccine we're having side affects) and 2: to look at his back paw as he had been limping and in pain. First, I was unable to go in due to vaccination status so many of these issues could have been prevented had I maybe been in person and in the office. No proof of negative test was offered as an alternative. Second, I received a call from the vet saying he got his vaccine and that he more than likely sprained his paw and as a kitten he should be fine and kittens are resilient. I expressed that he had been not putting any weight on it and it looked broken to me. But what would I know, I'm not a vet. I was then transferred via phone to pay for the vaccine and take my cat back. 25 minutes later I call to check up as to why my cat hadn't been brought out to me. Mind you, it was raining, windy and cold. They told me the vet was still checking him. I receive another call saying that now they notice the limp and should do X-rays. I agree and they proceed. 45 minutes later I call again to see status and wait for a call back. Vet calls and says it's broken but they are going to splint it and check on it in 4 weeks to see if he needs it longer or not. I get transferred to checkout and pay for X-ray and splint. 45 minutes later I call again asking the status. The nurse tells me the vet is on the phone with ortho. I wait for another call back and the vet now tells me y cat needs surgery that will cost approx $5500. Proceeds to tell me I have 2 choices, I can bring him back and have them give him anasthesia and they would need to recast him. OR surgery. I ask how long I have to decide and am told next week. Mind you at this point I'm livid. It's been hours. You've put a splint on, incorrectly and now I have to pay to fix that. 45 minutes later I call again to see why I haven't gotten my cat still. I finally get him bring him home and take him out of carrier and he goes crazy over this splint. No cone was provided. I call them again and they tell me to drive all the way back to get one. And then charge me. After mulling over it, I decide I want to seek a second opinion especially after this fiasco. However it's nearly impossible to get him into a new vet with a cast. No one wanted to touch it. I call them back 4 weeks later and ask to change dressing (as they had initially told me I should do weekly). They inform me they would not change it without putting him under. Finally as I finally get into a new vet, they seem to have issues with emailing the records even when I emailed the request weeks prior. I spoke to the vet and she was rude. Placed the blame on me. And had absolutely no empathy for the situation. I will never go back there. Ever. I'm still dealing with resolving his paw. He's a trooper though and has been being a kitten even still. read more

Really nice vet! I brought my cat in because he was making weird moaning noises in the morning, and tik tok had convinced me that he had a bowel obstruction or was otherwise dying. They recommended giving him pumpkin and ruling out cheaper problems before doing an X-ray or anything. Turns out my cat is just fat and was howling at the automatic feeder. Good, honest people who took great care of my kitty. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy vet. read more

I have been debating a really long time whether to write this review, and to change my previously 5 star rating of AtlasVet. However, I wanted to at least share my experience in case it is of help to anyone in deciding whether or not to bring their pet here. My cat was a patient of AtlasVet for about 8 years, with a hiatus of about a year when I moved to NYC. My experience with AtlasVet until recently had been so good that when I moved back to the DC area, I immediately chose to resume care with Atlas, despite living all the way out in Georgetown. Generally speaking, they were responsive, provided top tier medical service and seemed to genuinely care. That all changed once my cat entered the final chapter of his life. He unfortunately developed symptoms that required a specialist at an animal hospital to diagnose, and he was diagnosed with lymphoma. When I called AtlasVet and informed them of this, I was shocked at the response I received: "Why are you telling us this?" I was so taken aback that I asked if they didn't even care that their patient of 8 years was given a terminal diagnosis. "I just don't know why you're informing us of this unless you're trying to schedule him for care" The cruel indifference I was shown by Atlas in the hardest chapter of my boy's life was traumatizing. It took everything I could to not start crying right then and there. I simply asked the tech to inform the doctors who have overseen his care and they said okay and that someone would reach out. I NEVER heard from Atlas again. Not a call to discuss quality of life for him in his final weeks, no call asking if I needed to schedule humane euthanasia with them. Not so much as a condolence note. This place really bangs the drum of being "AV Faithful", but despite the loyalty I and my cat showed this place for 8 years, no one cared the moment he was dying, not even to help guide the decision of when to say goodbye. I know I will one day get another pet once I have grieved this terrible loss. But I can never go back here again. The betrayal of trust and pain this place caused me when my pet was at his most vulnerable is something I will never, ever be able to get over. read more

This review is for the amazing staff at Atlas, transparently, my puppy is not a current patient of Atlas. I called this morning as my puppy is having issues with his eye. I had a virtual session with a vet and they said I should try to get into my vet asap. I have an apt with my vet later on in August but wanted to try and find something sooner. Zain answered my call this morning at 8 am (amazing that they open so early) and was pretty amazing! He listened to me, provided great advice, and referred me to a vet that could fit me in the next day! Zain was incredibly kind and understanding and made me feel instantly better. One of the best experiences I've had with a vet in a while. Was apprehensive about taking my dog, emma, here after some of the less than stellar reviews, but am so glad I did! After moving to DC, I was looking for the first appointment I could find after my prior vet declared they wouldn't refill any of my dogs prescriptions. I was able to get an appointment with Atlas within the time frame I needed, at the time that worked for me. The appointment with Dr. Richardson was excellent - she was prompt, answered all of my questions, was sensitive to my dogs needs, and we were able to get everything we needed to accomplish, accomplished. In addition, the cost was way less than I was expecting. Also - I had an 8:30 am appointment and street parking was plentiful. read more

Dr. White is an absolute gem. Not only is she a highly knowledgeable and analytical veterinarian, she's also certified in acupuncture and versed in traditional chinese medicine. She has been a particularly invaluable advisor and resource for us during my 60lbs pitbull's treatment for a serious autoimmune disease (MMM). Dr. White has never once minimized or dismissed my 'dog mom' concerns and treats my pittie like her own- he adores her. Her staff is equally attentive and kind. There are too many to name but Zain is one of the stars. I'd also add that practice owner Dr. Miller diagnosed my dog with MMM. His rapid diagnosis allowed us to start immediate treatment and avoid further muscular deterioration. Thank you Atlas Vet for your compassion and expertise! read more

We have been coming here for about 5 years, but at our most recent visit about a year ago, my dog came out of the backroom (this is where they take pets for vaccination, bloodwork, etc. without the owner) extremely traumatized and stressed. I have no idea what went on back there since owners are not allowed back there, but I will never take my dog here again. They have traumatized her and I will never trust this place again. Also, while I have had good experiences with some of their vets, I also did not like the vet we saw this last time, Dr. Sanz. She seemed very cold and like she didn't want to be there. I was charged 3 times more than what it would have cost to have the vaccine given at the place where I got the cat. They have lost my future business. read more

Atlas Vet is like an expensive teaching clinic for your pets. We use to take our Old English Bulldog there until he started getting bloody noses and one of the multiple vets we saw told us it was just his allergies and we should just bath him more often then prescribed some allergy meds. We ended up taking him to a bulldog specialist, and discovering that it wasn't just allergies he had polyps in his nose, was losing his hearing. He needed surgery. I had also asked the Atlas about a trembling in his paw we were noticing. On 2 occasions, very rudely, I was told it was because he was overweight. Nope, wrong again, turns out he had a rare cancer. Unfortunately our loving pup passed away and it was truly a hard lesson learned. I will absolutely never trust Atlas with another fur baby again. Hands down, the best vet experience I have EVER had! I cannot sing Atlas' praises enough! Moved here 6 months ago and my crew of 3 Italian Greyhounds needed their annual checkups. I actually originally scheduled with a vet walking distance from my house. But as it turned out, they didn't take Care Credit. Taking 3 dogs in at the same time for annual+HW test+fecal test is pretty expensive so I like to use Care Credit to spread that payment out over a few months. Started researching other vets in the area and unfortunately there were no others walking distance from my place. I found Atlas and immediately loved their fun and bright website. I emailed to make sure they take Care Credit, and they did. Continued reading the website and about their vets and was so freaking ecstatic to read that Dr. Miller had an Italian Greyhound as well! Fate! No question in my mind, was def scheduling with them! I booked over a month in advance so had plenty of time to read all the stellar reviews they have and I was excited to come to the appointment knowing this vet practice was opposite of the norm. I can def see why they are so popular! Had our appointment last week and was greeted by the friendliest staff shrieking THE TRIO IS HERE! They were equally excited for us to come in! The waiting area is like the anti waiting area. Bright colors, trendy animal-themed decor, long comfy benches. This practice perfectly fits in with its hipterish surroundings along H St NE. There was chatter among the office and several techs came out because they just HAD to meet my crew (who are always excited to make new human friends too!) We go in our exam room and it's equally as tastefully and comfortably decorated. Trendy chairs and a big comfy rug on the floor, there was an exam table folded up because they don't like to use them. Our tech, Mikaela, came in and we all sat on the floor together! I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for such an amazing exam experience, doing everything on the floor had my dogs way more at ease! Mikaela was absolutely wonderful! She took their vitals and whatnot and then we waited for Dr. Miller. Enter Dr. Miller who was absolutely thrilled to meet my crew, and they loved him too! He was super personable and it was more like chatting with a friend than your typical cold-ish vet conversation. I can't even believe I'm saying that going to the vet was FUN! We discussed future care, especially dentals for the crew. I know their teeth are bad and I was worried I'd be scolded, but he was so awesome about everything and said we'd come up with a plan together so we could spread out the cost of everything. I really appreciated his professionalism and compassion for my crew! This was just the best experience I could've asked for! I'm SO glad that we ended up here! They are def more on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for... and I will gladly pay for the amazing service I experienced at Atlas. read more

Each time I need an appointment it's a 2-4 week wait. Need ear cleaner for a dog prone to ear infection? They won't just fill the prescription, they'll charge you $400 for a full work up each time if you are lucky enough to be seen after waiting the 4 weeks. Your pup has a UTI? They'll tell you it's not an emergency and you can wait 2 weeks. The front desk is rude and unsympathetic. The Dr. is fine once you get in, but the costs plus the wait time plus the front desk staff make this place a no for me. Too bad because it's a neighborhood business within walking distance. read more

After coming here for the past 4 years with our cats, I am sad to only be giving a 3 star review. But, I am very disappointed with Atlas Vet after my last appointment for our new puppy. We took our 8 month old dog here for her checkup. It took 6 weeks to get an appointment, which I gather is likely due to Covid and the rotating of doctors, normally they can see a pet much sooner-- even same day. The Vet Tech who we met outside suggested vaccines for our pup, I opted in for the Lyme Vaccine (Note: She already had her mandatory vaccines). The next day/night our dog was having a very very adverse reaction to the vaccine. We took her to an emergency vet middle of the night, and when she was doing even worse by the time Atlas Vet opened I called them, Tina answered the phone and seemed genuinely concerned-- I sent her all of the symptoms along with videos of our pups labored breathing. More than 4 hours later, I still hadn't heard back from her or our vet. My husband reached out again, and we were instructed to take her to another emergency clinic as they didn't have any appointments open. So we did, she was having an adverse reaction to the Lyme Vaccine. It lasted for about 48 hours. My disappointment for Atlas Vet comes in a few forms. I have been going here for years with our pets because they are able to see us when an emergency happens and they care. Neither of those things happened this time. Our Vet hasn't even reached out to us to check on our puppy, the puppy they gave the shot to. It feels like things may be changing at Atlas Vet and I am sad to say, that we may be looking for a new practice to go to after this experience. I know the adverse vaccine reaction is not their fault, but the way it was handled was poor at best, and negligent at worst. read more

I just took my newly adopted 2 year old kitty to Atlas for her first well visit yesterday and I have to say they are fantastic!! The waiting area, the front desk staff, the vet techs, the vet himself -- all super super awesome. Everyone is nice, accommodating, and patiently answered all of my pesky questions (I ask a lot of questions). The only downside is the cost. The shelter I adopted my cat from uses a vet outside of DC that charges $10 for a well visit & Atlas charges 7x that! However I just can't in good conscience put my kitty through a 45 min drive instead of a 10 min drive. Having never been to the $10 vet, I can't say the service here is "better" but it really is so superb I had no problem forking over what could have been a new pair of wedges for my sweet new kitty's vet visit. Parking really isn't that difficult. You might have to walk a block or two but I found parking no problem. When we were leaving it had started to rain, and the front desk staff were perfectly happy to watch my kitty while I pulled the car around so she didn't get soaked (she was traumatized enough with a new home, many new people, and then being taken to the vet all in 3 days). tl;dr - Come here. I've been going to Atlas for 2 years now. I have two cats and a newly adopted dog. I liked it right away because it was the first vet visit that my cats were calm and comfortable in and that was huge for me. The vet was really knowledgeable and kind, diagnosed my cat with a dental issue and he was quickly scheduled to get teeth pulled only a few days later. I love how they store our pets medical records online so I can view them anywhere I go, I used to lug around folders with their information and now I know if I need to go to an emergency room, I can feel safe just picking up and going. With my new rescue, they've been incredibly supportive of me as a new pup-mum and have answered many questions over the phone and squeezed him in now for two last minute appointments with some health problems popping up after being in the shelter. The staff at the front are always kind and they have a variety of treats around for both cats and dogs as well as spaces in their waiting room where you can go if your pet needs a quieter space (ie my not-yet trained dog or my anxious cats). Our family is deaf so we really appreciate that the staff ALWAYS writes back and forth with us on an ipad that is ready to go when we go back to see the doctor. They also always email me a summary of our appointment just to make sure that I have full access to information. That is huge for me! My only qualm is that they are definitely much pricier than other vets I've been to and not super affordable. That being said, their location in proximity to my home, wonderful team, safe environment for my pets, and great quality medical care makes the expense worthwhile to me. read more

I am in absolute awe of the utter incompetence of Atlas Vet & their staff after our last visit here. My family has been taking our dog to Atlas for 3 years. We recently moved an hour away, but decided to stick with Atlas as our dog knows and trusts the staff. 5 weeks ago, we found a worm in our dogs stool, and assumed it was a tapeworm. We immediately called to let them know we found what we thought was a tapeworm, requested an appointment, let them know that a newborn would be moving in within a week (so we needed to have meds started ASAP,) and brought in the same stool sample that contained the worm. They gave us the first pill of a month-long worm treatment, and said they would prescribe the rest upon test results. Atlas called us about 2 days later, saying that the test results for worms (yes, plural, as if they tested for all types of worms right?) was negative. I was very adamant that we saw a worm coming out of the exact same stool sample that we took them for testing. We bantered a bit as I was trying to explain there was no way the results were negative when we saw the worm. They were adamant that the results were accurate and he did not have worms. We believed they knew what they were doing and perhaps a crazy coincidence such as a worm landing on his stool may have happened. 5 weeks later (today) we received an email from Atlas stating that our dogs medication was ready for pickup. We of course replied that we don't know what meds they are talking about because we already have his heart worm & tick meds. They then admitted that their staff had sent the stool sample out for THE WRONG TEST. So 5 weeks later, they decided to double check their tests results and prescribe de wormer without even an explanation. They were trying to get away without admitting their error and apologizing. They gave us a $20 credit as if that's what our dog's (and newborn baby's) health is worth to them. Needless to say, find another vet as they are clearly incompetent. read more

Our little Gizmo deserves the best and this is the best. They are so nice every time we go in, and despite the fact that he is usually uber energetic they usually get down and play with him and treat him like a king! Dr. Rainey is so intelligent and kind. She briefed us on everything we needed to know as we were new dog owners and even checked in on the flea and tick prevention that we purchased to make sure it was ok. That's dedication! It is pricey so have pet insurance. But your dog will get treated extremely well and for us that was especially important since Gizmo is a rescue and who knows how he was treated in the past. read more

Atlas does a great job, especially in the time of Covid. They have a well thought out infection control plan and are doing the best they can to protect the customers , staff and animals. They provide excellent value and being in a new emerging commercial neighborhood are a key part of the community. Vets, Drs, Pet stores, Pharmacy, Hardware, Dry cleaners are as important as bars/restaurants and offices. Atlas is a key part of our community and a well loved enterprise. read more

I've been coming to AtlasVet for a year now and every visit has been a pleasure. All the staff, from front desk to vets, are very warm and welcoming. They really try their best to make the dog comfortable and happy. Rooms are decorated in a way that doesn't feel too "sterile" and cold. If there were any drawbacks to this place it'd be that the front space is a bit tight. Overly excited dogs can get be hard to distance ones self from if there are 5-6 dogs in the same room. Despite that tho, I can't imagine going to another vet. read more

As I was going to drop off my baby (dog ), Yeta was very rude and disrespectful. I needed the prescription for my pet who has kidney failure and she told me "she will make eye contact with me and if I do not respond she will walk back in the facility". Making eye contact is not how you get anyone's attention. This employee was very rude! I would not suggest any service to get done from her. I was baffle and when I called to speak to a manager about Yeta no one was available. Do they have a corporate number, or email! If I could give ZERO stars I would! read more
