located in the west edmonton mall, tucked in the casino, we had an amazing experience. we made it 10 minutes before happy hour ended but able to get in our happy hour order. great ambience and service. our waiter was helpful with suggesting items and very patient with us. we also ordered the bananas foster, which is flambéd and worth it.

    Lobster spaghettini

It was okay. Maybe I didn't order the best selling one and ordered the least popular ones on the menu. The truffle fries were ok. Ceasar salad was good and oysters. Lobster bisque was too rich and wasn't smooth, spicy lobster spaghettini wasn't spicy at all. Mussels and shrimps on it didn't taste right and felt like it needs to be rinsed and cooked again. The service was really good and friendly. Ambiance was a typical casino vibe. Seats were spacious.

This restaurant is located on the upper level of starlight casino in West Edmonton mall. It is near the high limit gaming area and does not allow kids under 18 years old. We have been here several times when we want to new enjoy a nice meal. This time we decided to try the all you can eat prime rib special on Sundays for $29. We ordered medium but it seemed like medium rare, we ate it anyway. The meat was so tender and flavourful I was very impressed. The sides that came with it were mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and Yorkshire pudding. The horseradish was also a little bit different and was not just horseradish. It was creamy like yogurt and very delicious! The portion was a good size. I was not able to order another piece of prime rib however my son and husband did request a second helping and our server brought out a whole plate including the sides! I have to say that was a bit too much food. We ended up sharing the meet. My daughter had the mushroom risotto and the portion was also very big. It was very tasty and well worth the $23! The ambiance is this restaurant is lovely, a pianist is playing music however at times can be a little too loud. Sometimes we can't hear each other during conversation. It's a great place for a celebration, date night, or family dinner.

    Baked Alaska $17

We came for dinner to celebrate a birthday in December. It was a busy weekend as the restaurant was a buzz of activity with most tables occupied likely for holiday celebrations. The service wasn't as attentive as it would have been if it were not busy, and the noise level was louder which sometimes drowned out the enjoyment of the music from the piano. We were seated at a booth and the server was great to offer suggestions on menu items. We had both the physical menu and the drink menu on the tablet to view. Around the table, we ordered oysters, chili rubbed cowboy rib steak, spicy lobster spaghettini, and the grilled salmon steak. The salmon steak was a fairly large salmon piece and it was tasty without being too salty. For dessert, we ordered the Baked Alaska (flambe tableside) as it was recommended by our server at Match. I have only had Baked Alaska on cruise ships and unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this dessert as much as those experiences. I think the combination of raspberry coconut ice cream, lemon sorbet, orange vanilla cake, and Italian meringue didn't seem to blend well for my palate. It was cut in small pieces for sharing around the table. For the birthday guest, she received a dessert of chocolate torte that was brought out to her. We noticed it was charged on the bill, and the server apologized when we were leaving as it was to be on the house and he provided cash back for the cost of the dessert. The experience was lovely and close to two hours at dinner. It wasn't quite a 5 star experience though.

Atlas Steak + Fish is nothing short of fabulous. From the decor to the food, I don't know where to start. Beauty is every where you look in this space. A stunning open kitchen, beautiful lighting, fresh flowers, and of course the grand piano. The ambiance is on point, and perfect for a special occasion, or just an enjoyable dinner out. If you have a large party, check out the private dining room. Of course, the star of the show is the food. I'm a huge fan of their Josper oven which smokes the dishes as they cook. I really don't think you could go wrong with any dish you pick, but I will say I was a huge fan of the seafood mixed grill, which was plenty for two people. The brie mashed potatoes & roast vegetables are a must! And for dessert - don't skip it. Just don't. Good luck picking between the salted caramel brûlée and chocolate torte ganache. Service at this location was top notch. Friendly hostess, attentive server, and the GM was super friendly and professional. Also worth noting is the cocktails, which are perfection. Atlas is a welcome (and much needed) addition to West Edmonton Mall, and the west end in general. So many times I've been asked by friends/family visiting where to eat near WEM. I never had an answer until now! Highly, HIGHLY recommended. I can't wait to go back.

Located in the starlight casino on the second floor. It was a bit hard to find at first but once we found it everything was perfect. -As soon as we arrived we were seated right away. Unfortunately we were the only customers at the time. (Usually a bad sign) I was a bit on edge at first but the interior is quite beautiful. My girlfriends cocktail (imperial pearl) was delicious as she drank it right away. I had a little taste and it truly highlighted the pear quite well. -The bread that comes out with the blue cheese butter paired well together. The bread was light and fluffy and the cheese did not overpower it at all. -We started off with both the tomato bisque、lobster soup、 and the steak tartar. All were great. The tomato had quite a deep smoky flavor to it and helped battle the cold weather. The lobster soup had deep flavors of lobster through out each bite. The tar tar had a mustard type of sauce which I never imagined having it with! That truly blew my mind how well it worked! The tartar was definitely one of the highlights. -For our mains I chose the pork chop and my girlfriend had the truffle mushroom risotto. The pork chop tasted amazing no complaints. The apple relish definitely helped cut some of the fatiness of the pork belly so dont be put off by that. And the risotto had the flavor of truffle and mushrooms with each bite. You get that earthy taste that you so crave when ordering a truffle dish. Service was great and she talked to us throughout the meal. Food、service、 and atmosphere I'll be back before I leave edmonton. Do yourself a favor and eat here it's worth it.

Freshly baked dinner roll in cast iron skillet

Atmosphere, service, and environment are on the higher end. Situated right inside Starlight Casino on the 2nd floor of West Edmonton Mall (near the ice rink), this well-known steak house is famous for its high quality beef aged before being prepared in their mesquite-fired Josper oven. Live piano performance adds elegance to the experience. I wished the food was able to match up with the rest and be consistent. It was the all-you-can-eat prime rib Sunday. I couldn't finish my dish but for someone who has good appetite and loves prime ribs, this is highly recommended. I wasn't too crazy about the sauce. The steak was under seasoned but the steak itself was great. I have had better prime ribs with similar pricing. The side dishes were cooked nicely: spinach and Yorkshire pudding. The charred asparagus was well seasoned. However, the end of the stems for the majority was very tough. I had to cut off 1 inch from the end and the rest was fine. I wished the chewy ends were chopped off before being cooked. This dish was a bit too generous on oil. The freshly baked dinner roll in cast iron skillet was impressive. The warm soft bread with salt lightly sprinkled on top was served with herb butter on the side. This was the one perfect dish out of what I had for this dinner. I had to mention that the server was very courteous. He was busy and it took a little longer than usual to get his attention.

    Soooooooo yummy!

Atlas Steak + Fish is above the Starlight Casino in West Ed. Similar to the one downtown, it is classy with good ambience, which the piano player helped create. If you're looking for a place to spend a romantic dinner, special event, or just a nice evening with awesome tasting food then you need to eat here! The price for the quality of the food is also worth it. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu as all of the food is delicious. Like the Atlas downtown, there is also a private room for booking if you're looking for a location for your Christmas Parties or private events. If you're looking for a place to eat on the west side... you need to eat here!

For her - A savory-sweet mix of Ojo de Tigre Mezcal, passion fruit liqueur, blood orange syrup, lime juice, and a black salt rim. It was awesome. The hotel had an amazing gym facility and pool. We got seated at our table and then we waited...and waited...and waited... So the manager came by and asked us if we need anything and I replied, "Yeah a server." Apparently there was a mix up with communication and whose table was whose. It is gorgeous inside. Very sexy. Plush benches, silver tones, and blue lights. This would be a great place to be seen after a hockey game or something. Finally with our fixed menu in hand and some water. The manager asked us if we would like the wine paring for no extra charge. What a fabulous gift! We started out with the black truffle and brie aranchini. This is super rich and flavourful. Great texture on the outside and creamy goodness on the inside. My husband and I got one of each of the salads - Wedge and Ceasar. The portions were massive, so I am glad I got the wedge. I could pack it up and it was fresh and crisp the next day. Dressings on both of them were excellent I got the black sesame ahi tuna and my husband got the petite filet. Both were excellent but if I wanted to finish dessert I would have to get this packed for home. Finaly onto dessert my husband got the chocolate peanut butter bar, while I went with the strawberry pavlova. Both were fine, but the peanut butter bar was super rich. The wine pairings were excellent. Great place, even better when you have a super deal.

It was a bit too much for me, but we can't all like the same things. I think the staff might have recommended we not order two mashed potatoes, but otherwise service was sufficient and relatively attentive. Attention was given to my gf dietary needs, but no attempt at a gluten free bread was made, as has been done a similar high end establishments. Our waitress nearly gave our meal to another table, but fortunately was intercepted by another server. We arrived at 5:30 and got our meals at about 7:00. The ambiance was reminiscent of a high end pizza place- large marble topped tables to shout across. My lamb was a bit under done, but that was okay since I had allowed for that. I've had better lamb in my own home, but I admit I'm not a fan of char as the main flavour. It was very attractively plated and I liked most of the vegetables that shared the plate, excepting perhaps, one or two pieces of bitter greens. My two companions enjoyed their meals, both having ordered filet. The three of us wound up spending about $300.00, tip included.

Apparently Bundok was participating in downtown dining week and had a $65 dinner. We were never made aware of that. First impressions were...exceptionally poor. 1. It was LOUD. Like, had to routinely ask my dining partner to repeat themselves level loud for the entire meal. We were also greeted by the manager, who barely looked up and seemed quite annoyed, while waving us over to our table. I also sat at our table for well over 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged by our server. It's a very small space so this definitely stood out. My husband had time to go get something from the car, come back, browse the drink menu a few times and ask me if we wanted to leave before anyone came to talk to us. It was a busy night, sure but...I can't recall a time I've actually debated just leaving (and leaving a gift card behind) due to utter lack of service. When our server did come, she was quite lovely and did fantastic through the whole meal despite being new. This makes me wonder if the manager forgot to mention there was a new table. Food wise, we knew we had a gift card so we definitely wanted to use that up and then some. The drinks were...okay. Nothing notable and frankly the wine selection is better suited to the meal (their orange is lovely), but I can certainly see why Bundok has won awards for its menu. Every item, save for our striploin was delicious and perfectly prepared. The steak itself tasted like its prepared sous vide then seared, but was very rubbery in our case. Could have been that it wasn't fully to temp when seared. The black garlic sauce was nice, but overall, we could have done without that dish as a whole. If I look at the meal as a whole, removing the benefit of having a gift card, I wouldn't, and won't, be going back. Why? While the food IS wonderful, the price you'll pay (don't get me wrong, I have zero issue paying for an experience and good eats!) isn't necessarily worth poor service, and exceptionally loud (seriously, you're in a repurposed industrial loft that's supposed to feel intimate, the glass beside me was vibrating at some points) setting. This would be 2 stars and a non recommend, but the flavour of the food saved it. If you're fine with super loud and want an experience, give it a shot, but there are other places in the city that are far better for an intimate night out, have equal caliber food, and quite frankly, run laps around the service. While we're thankful for the opportunity, we'll happily pass on going back.

I waited 15 minutes and asked for the game we wanted to be put on. The bartender reluctantly said yes and then tried to put the game on the tv but was unsuccessful after a few minutes of attempting. I apologized for the inconvenience but she proceeded to give me dirty looks which is fine at the end of the day. What I can't ignore and reason for writing this review is when ordering a new round of drinks, I saw her use a previously poured drink that was sitting out under the taps and poured some in my glass before filling the rest of the glass up from the tap. Most likely this was not the first drink she had done this with but it was the first I noticed. I did not yell or even point this out, but chose not to drink the new beer and closed out my tab. The bartender did not ask why I l would leave a fresh beer after just ordering, so she knew I saw her but did not acknowledge how foul and revolting it is to put (at best old beer, at worse who knows what) in a patron's drink just for being so rude as to ask for a game on at a sports bar!!! Will never come back here again and they should fire this bartender for such an awful thing as pouring foreign substances into the drink of an unexpecting patron. Ruined my plans to hang out before the game.
