I would have to say this was a pleasant experience and let me tell you why. My niece said she wanted a rabbit after seeing them at the State Fair so me being the uncle that I am went to atlas pet supply to make it happen. I was greeted by a young man and he showed me where the rabbits were. He seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about the bunnies but called for a co-worker to come help. Alexa came over and helped us with everything and the store manager Mitch was very helpful as well. The Atlas team made purchasing the bunny so enjoyable that I will definitely start using them for any of my pet or pet supply needs. Been here quite a few times to just look around and it is by far my favorite pet store! The workers have come up to me and asked if I needed help and they all had wonderful attitudes. They seemed knowledgeable about the animals they carried and the supplies. While some of the containers (wouldn't really call a cage) holding the rabbits are small, they are definitely being well taken care of. I hope to buy a rabbit from them soon! read more

We were traveling through Minnesota with two dogs and a puppy when we realized we left the dog crate in Oklahoma. We were going to Petco in Stillwater and saw Atlas Pet Supply. We figured we would stop in and see if they had what we needed. It looked like they were closing so we started to get back in the truck and then they came to the door to let us in. They had exactly what we needed, and much more! Christmas items were on sale so we picked up a large toy and some treats for the dogs to share. I stopped in when I was in a pinch--in need of dog food yet far away from my normal pet store. Google saved me by giving me a list of nearby stores selling Fromms, and I popped into this store. The associate was on the phone when I walked in. I couldn't find the food right away, so took a peek back at her and she was still on the phone. Made eye contact and turned away. Unsure if it was a personal conversation or what, I roved around and found the Fromm's on my own and the right mix. I came back up to the counter, and she was still on the phone. Still unsure what the proper protocol is in this kind of situation, I dropped the bag on the counter and took a few steps back to give her some privacy. Eventually she said goodbye and rang up the food. No explanation or apology, just a total. I paid, said have a nice day, and left. I'm guessing she was on some kind of personal call, so I don't think it's fair overall to give them one stars, but it definitely stands out as one of the odder experiences I've had. read more

Still good service and reasonable prices but, STILL horribly selling small animals but worse keeping them in aquarium size housing. How can this be right? The bigger rabbits can barely turn around. This has been going on for years- I checked in a few times this autumn and it seems nothing has changed: still no regard for these small beings. Cute enough to feed and keep clean but not much else. I want to support local business, but I just can't go in here anymore. Fleet Farm and Chuck & Don's is selling high end animal food and product. I'll take my business there. What I find unsettling is that no one else looks at a bunny rabbit in a small glass aquarium and thinks, "this isn't ok" WTF? read more

Stopped in here for my dogs birthday gift. They seem to have cheaper prices than other stores and a good selection. Staff was friendly and pleasant. They have birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, rodents and other small animals. All the animals seemed comfortable and happy. The cages were small for them but most seemed content. The staff person I asked said they get their animals from a breeder. Always questionable when a store sells pets but my general feeling was good. Certainly better than smaller chain stores if you're looking for a pocket pet. I would stop her again if I was in the area. Fun place to look around. read more

Super friendly staff for pet supplies with a good benefit program. They actually carried my dog food to my car for me. Prices are ok, don't care if they are a little higher with the friendly staff. It's hard to find good customer service and this place has it. read more

A vortex of lost time. They apparently have dozens of helpful employees but I must have been exposed to the only psychotic one. I've been there three times before- only because they are local and I didn't want to drive to my preferred pet food store on that day. One thing is consistent - the achingly slow process of purchasing anything. Do not get me started on their attempt at a dog wash. Anyone ever asked to bring your own towel to a dog wash? wtf? I'm so done with this place. (And I've never actually seen their animals for sale in cramped cages, but if that's true, I'll be happy to share that information widely because they are NOT getting away with that.) read more

I had an issue and had called the store for help, I spoke with an employee who advised me to come down to solve the issue. When I arrived I was talking to someone who was kind of rude and didn't want to talk to me about the problem at the front. He ushered me into a corner of the store to talk about the problem. I assumed he didn't want anyone else to hear what was going on. I was talking quietly in the first place so I didn't understand why we needed to move. He continued to be rude and I later found out that he is one of the owners. Because of the treatment, I will not be going back. I was a long time customer there for many of my pet needs. It kind of sucks to not go back, because there is one employee there who is really amazing. Linda, who works there, is very knowledgeable and always friendly and bubbly. I will miss seeing and talking to her when I made my visits. read more

Our experience with this store was most frustrating and unpleasant. While setting up a new fish tank as a Christmas present for my grandsons, we received completely contradictory information and advice from different staff members. We were advised to purchase fish that didn't belong in our type of tank, had to endure my grandsons' broken hearts caused by eight fish deaths, had to make five return trips to the store, and were not given a refund for the most recent death, despite spending nearly $220 at this store. I don't know about their knowledge of other pets, but their knowledge regarding fish is sorely lacking, and their customer service is ridiculous. I would not recommend trying to set up a new fish tank with this pet store. read more

I been very pleased with the service at Atlas Pet Supply. During Covid I ordered what I needed by phone and they provided Curbside pickup. They are always helpful and friendly. I'm in my 80's and the always offer to carry my purchases to my car. read more

We bought a Bunting for our daughter here. The bird died the next day. All they would do is offer a discount on a new bird purchase, not replace the bird or give a refund. They made an excuse that the bird must have starved to death....in one day with ample food in the cage? Crooks read more

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable of their products and animals. Also if they don't know the answer, rather than making something up to sound smart they either ask a co-worker whom may have better knowledge of the subject or they even offer to research it for you. If they don't carry a product on hand they are always willing to at least try and special order it in to the store for you. I feel that they utilize the space they have well. And most importantly the animals seem happy and content with their temporary home. read more

I prefer Atlas over the other chains. Knowledgeable, helpful staff and always willing to help carry items to your car. I use the pet bath a few times a year for my shepherds and love it, convenient, easy on my back and affordable. Nice variety of quality dog food since my two dogs need to be on grain free. read more

Great little family owned pet shop. Very clean, fair prices and the staff is so friendly and helpful! I will gladly take my business here over Petco any day. I worked with "Casey" to find a new dog food brand and she recommended Nutrisource. Walked out with more knowledge than I can imagine! I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more
