We ordered late-night room service and Juan was very pleasant and personable. The food was pretty good, especially for the time of morning. The newly upgraded rooms are also very nice and made the stay even better. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area!

Based of the pictures I had seen while doing my research I was shocked to see how small the steam showers, the hot tubs and shared areas were. My Bestie and I went for my birthday which was on a Thursday, while we were waiting for our massage we tried to wait in the waiting area except there was no place to sit or stand. My favorite parts were the massage and the hot tubs were beautiful, it's like you're floating in the sky surrounded by greenery with a full view of the sky through the glass top!! Also, you get a local's discount Monday - Thursday as a local for all services (I'm pretty sure all)

This place is so cool and not cool at the same time…read more.. Here's the bad stuff... 1. Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

After fifteen years owning and living here, I've watched an inept board and bungling management company consistently fail to uphold their basic responsibilities: -They refuse to enforce community rules, misinterpret municipal code at will, and turn a blind eye when vehicles block fire lanes or garage access. -Their staff are routinely rude, dismissive, and condescending to homeowners who raise legitimate concerns. -Document and information requests are met with stalling tactics and legal posturing rather than straightforward answers. -Serious incidents--even when captured on video--are flatly denied, forcing homeowners to escalate matters to the Ombudsman or retain counsel just to enforce their rights. If you care about living in a well‑run community and protecting your property values, think twice before moving here. Save yourself the headache (and the legal fees)--this HOA will do everything in its power to waste your time and money.

I was impressed with out two story "hotel" room as it was actually a very large condominium! Clean, newer carpets, comfortable beds and couches, nice linens, and very clean grounds. The only thing that is weird is having to check in and not dealing directly with a person. It's all done via the telephone. Kind of strange even when we had to get a new room key when ours didn't work. The "person" that helped us didn't even ask for ID for our new keys. I like being a guest at a hotel and part of the guest experience is interacting with friendly staff not a voice from who knows where.

Run! Don't walk away. This is NOT a resort. There is a very small portion of this facility that is…read moreused for Interval International resort exchange. The majority is rented out to low income or disabled people. I found a woman literally passed out in a car in front of the unit my family stayed in. She was clearly under the influence, folded forward in the front seat, a cigarette in her mouth broken from when her face hit the gear shift. There was a broken down, denied, paint peeling car in a parking spot in front of our unit that didn't move the entire time we were staying there. The "gym" is gross. Ancient broken equipment. No towels. Nothing to sanitize before you use the equipment (if you can get it to work). Tbere is seldom anyone in the office to help if you have an issue. When there IS someone they don't help - even if they could. The resort doesn't hesitate to tell lies to get people to stay. For example, the website says you can purchase high speed secure internet for the week. False. There is no high speed internet. There isn't even internet to be purchased. The "open" internet has no internet connection. They have people staying here who are just plain nasty and they bring more people (who don't live here and who aren't resort exchange visitors) who are running around, yelling, leaving trash and belongings wherever they happen to land. The midweek tidy up is a joke. They didn't clean anything ... dishes, shower ... nothing. They left a stack of towels and put some in the wall holder. The shower broke so we couldn't even take showers - had to use the tub. The good thing is that maintenance came quickly to fix it. The inside of the unit is pleasant, but nothing fancy. The TVs aren't smart .... and why would they be? The internet doesn't work. There is a tiny DVD player connected to the back of the TV and it sits on the table where you are supposed to eat. Why? Because the TV is wall mounted and there is no credenza, tv table or anything under the TV to put the DVD player on. If you want to move the dining table away from the wall and actually eat at it, you have to put the DVD player on the floor There is very little counter space. And what little is there is is occupied by a microwave, tiny toaster and plastic coffee maker. Glass wear is on a glass shelf that looks like it hasn't been dusted in months. Finally, this "resort" (not) is in a very sketchy neighborhood. I do not hesitate to say this is the WORST "resort" I have ever stayed in ... for this pit, I exchanged my unit in Hawaii. I'm just disgusted!

I made a reservation at El Dorado in Reno back in June 2025 for a three-night stay…read more(Tuesday-Thursday, checking out Friday) in April 2026. After nearly 10 months of planning, I expected the basics to be handled correctly. When we checked in, we were given a double room instead of the King room we reserved. I went back to the front desk and was told that because they were oversold for Thursday night, there was no way to move us into a King room at all during our stay. That explanation didn't make much sense--they confirmed they had King rooms available Tuesday and Wednesday, but because of the Thursday overbooking, they couldn't honor the reservation for any of the nights. So even though I booked months in advance and had already arrived, I was effectively bumped in favor of guests who hadn't even checked in yet. To make matters worse, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working the entire stay, which led to long waits (up to 20 minutes to get down in the morning) and added frustration. After the fact, I looked through other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. Between the reservation not being honored and the operational problems, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. Skip this place.
