Circus Circus as seen from Silver Legacy.
Beau C.

If you are a Caesar's player this is your go to. Older property but pretty well kept. Circus was pretty sparse with lots of non working machines and open space, no table games. Silver legacy and Eldorado both had table games with $15 minimums. Lind of fun exploring the shops, restaurants and casinos which are connected by the upper floor. Great is very cold or hot. Parking garages are great if you drive a Mini or a smart car, otherwise you will find the spaces kinda tight. Parking is free.

I had to go get a bucket, fill it with ice, and put my beers in it from the bar because the cocktail servers weren't coming around.
Steve G.

As a recent customer of the El Dorado, who attended the seven diamond appreciation dinner, I reported issues with the service we received. Despite gambling a substantial amount and requesting cocktail service, we were unable to receive it, and asking the staff to turn on the TV to watch the Kings game proved to be challenging. I felt that the employees were unresponsive and did not seem to acknowledge our needs. Ive also been attempting to rent a suite for a Kentucky Derby event for four months but I've been unsuccessful in securing one. I have reached out to approximately 15 people, but none have been able to provide any assistance. I truly belive the service quality has significantly decreased since Caesars took over the properties and I have decided to go to Peppermill in the future. Oh did I mention I was brining 50 people up to party and bet in the derby, but the employees I spoke with didn't care.

It's three! It's three resorts in one! The Silver Legacy is a classy place. This resort I'm told has about 1600 rooms. The only way to feed so many people is with lots of food service options. The Eldorado is hot. Well, the Silver Legacy is too. Yet Eldorado's hotness comes from the very interesting, night time lighting, which couples will find inviting, while some might make their say here exciting. Women will love it. Circus Circus is the best place for families, singles on a budget, or couples that need a lot of distraction. I like the rooms at Circus Circus. Don't get me wrong. The quality of everything on The Row Reno is on par with The Silver Legacy. Yet, a gigantic arcade, the kind where you play carnival games and win stuffed animals, would be out of place, except here, where you can see a free trapeze act between car racing or military combat simulations. One shopping mall. I recall going up one level from the street entrances to The Row Reno, and strolling along scores of restaurants, cafes, bars, clothing shops, souvenir and gift shops, a personal shoe shine stand, jewelers, live music, bars, frozen yogurt vendors, and even sports spots where you can actually swing your arms like you're on TV playing sports. Did I mention The Row Reno has three completely separate gambling casinos? Did I tell you about casino resort ice cream? And, free parking in the secured parking garages; did I mention this? I should have said something about the spa, gym, swimming pools, and proximity to Amtrak Trains. And the FlixBus from West Oakland BART, actually stops at the curb along side the Silver Legacy! Note: If you are expecting inclement weather, ride Amtrak. The Amtrak Station is merely a 5 or 10 minute walk from The Eldorado Resort Casino

The machine dispenses $18. Fine print at the bottom says take to the cashier cage
Tracey W.

Beware of the stiffness, when you go to cash your ticket at the ATM machine they keep your change. You have to go to the cashier to get it. I wonder how much money they're making with this little trick. GSR gives you the opportunity to donate your change to a local charity which is nice, but if you choose not to they give it back to you.

Decent collection of restaurants, though with closures and vacancies it seems a bit more sparse and lacking vibrancy.

This place is so cool and not cool at the same time…read more.. Here's the bad stuff... 1. Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

Based of the pictures I had seen while doing my research I was shocked to see how small the steam showers, the hot tubs and shared areas were. My favorite parts were the massage and the hot tubs were beautiful, it's like you're floating in the sky surrounded by greenery with a full view of the sky through the glass top!! I made a reservation at El Dorado in Reno back in June 2025 for a three-night stay…read more(Tuesday-Thursday, checking out Friday) in April 2026. After nearly 10 months of planning, I expected the basics to be handled correctly. When we checked in, we were given a double room instead of the King room we reserved. I went back to the front desk and was told that because they were oversold for Thursday night, there was no way to move us into a King room at all during our stay. That explanation didn't make much sense--they confirmed they had King rooms available Tuesday and Wednesday, but because of the Thursday overbooking, they couldn't honor the reservation for any of the nights. So even though I booked months in advance and had already arrived, I was effectively bumped in favor of guests who hadn't even checked in yet. To make matters worse, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working the entire stay, which led to long waits (up to 20 minutes to get down in the morning) and added frustration. After the fact, I looked through other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. Between the reservation not being honored and the operational problems, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. Skip this place.

Normally free 2 hours parking with a casino validation. There is a small arcade for kids also, but we did not see any kids. Well if kids do come here, I am sure they are all outside at the cool Western Lights Event. "Lincoln Alley" separates their two buildings. One positive thing I want to say about the cafe restaurant, the workers every one of them are giving 150% working hard.My compliments to them. One thing that I've noticed and it's very negative is that the prices have jumped up, which has happened in a lot of places, but this is a little extreme. For example, they had a senior menu. They cut out approximately 1/2 of their senior menu, which is ridiculous. A lot of the locals come there and many are seniors the options on the menu amount to almost nothing for seniors now.. BRILLIANT SND THOUGHTFUL! Example on the regular breakfast menu they HAD a chicken fried steak it was a big chicken fried steak like all the other breakfast restaurants in the area now when you order that you get a small chicken fried steak, which was originally from the seniors menu a very downsized small chicken fried steak. Once again that chicken fried steak is not available on the senior menu instead they're using that small chicken fried steak for the regular menu. You're paying almost double and getting 1/2 of the value. CHEAP!! Also, throughout the casino, it always reeks of cigarettes smoke at one point I thought it was a very nice casino. Now I think it's rundown. Nobody really cares about anything. They're very few employees working the floor. The escalators going upstairs are always broken my opinion of the nice casino is now that it's turned into a dump!
