I went into the store to inquire about a bathroom window that needs replacement. Yhonathan stated someone would be at my home the following day @ 8:30 to look at the work and provide me a quote. No one showed up. I called after 8:30, spoke to Yhonathan and he sounded like the conversation we had the day prior didn't even take place. I told him to not send anyone to my home, since we already stated off wrong. Undependable, not truthful, and possible price gouging. Not good experience at all. Total waste of time. read more

Will not ever use again. The door quality was good and installation was done properly. Out of the two doors we had an issue with one of the door lock sticking. After several attempts reaching the sales office we finally got an appointment to have someone come out to do the repair. The day of the appointment no one showed up or called. STAY AWAY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! I have experienced the worst customer service from Atlantic Windows and Shutters in Miami. After spending over $40,000 +/- in windows and doors. I received 8 windows and 2 doors that were measured incorrectly by Atlantic Window. My windows were measured by a AW representive. I later found out that they only send their installers to measure if I use the company installers. The reason why I did not use AW installer was after getting several quotes AW was charging me double than the going rate for window installation. If I would have been told this from the beginning, I would have reconsidered using Atlantic Windows. After several weeks of calling and leaving messages and being totally ignored my gut told me this was not good sign. Finally, the rep from AW told me they would take care of there mistake. Nothing happened. Called back numerous times and was told the AW rep was no longer with the company. Then one day the owner Al-Jamal Fahad and his assistant shows up at my house around 6:30pm (without calling) I showed him all the mistakes and I explained the additional cost I had to pay to make the windows fit. But I had a door that the cost was way too much to make fit. Mr Fahad (the owner) told that they would take care of the door. "That he would help me" NOTHING happened I would call the store leave messages and nothing. I personally went to the store and of course Mr Fahad was not available. The manager had my file and I was told he was just waiting for Mr Fahads approval. After several weeks I received a call from the manager and he told me Mr. Fahad said NO that they were not responsible. It was my problem. I am a very active in my community and a Realtor I will NEVER give them another referral. read more

The worst service ever. Sales guy was great installers were awesome until there was an issue with the exterior bathroom door. Atlantic blamed the issue on CGI the manufacturer of the window and told us to contact them directly. As a contractor how and why you would ask the client to contact the manufacturer is beyond me. So here we are 3 months project not done, playing ping pong with the manufacturer and the contractor and nothing has been resolved. Lies! I Informed this company I needed to have my glass blocks replaced with impact glass before my homeowners insurance was up on 2/15/22. The insurance company told me they weren't going to renew until they were replaced with impact glass. I spoke with Ignacio at the company who assured me they would be installed in time. Lie! I placed the order in October 2021 and it is now May 2022 and the windows are still not installed. The Insurance company cancelled and I scrambled to find a company to insure costing me thousands more. My calls most times are not answered and when they were I was given excuses as to why the glass I already paid for is not yet installed. Workmanship was sensational, little stress cause the professional installers, Omar and JC, were true gentlemen and kind in helping where I couldn't move furnitures. As a single mom I have nobody to depend on and for them to not complain about anything dealing with moving made it pleasurable. Past permit inspection and insurance inspection. I highly recommend this company. Great materials and workmanship which in my opinion goes hand in hand. I insisted they place a sign on my property advertising the company. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAAAAY!!! They will waste your time just to get a contract signed they can't fulfill!!! I uploaded pictures of the estimate & texts to show this company is out to take advantage of you. I called two S. Florida companies out in April and because they were unexpectedly higher prices, I chose to go to a place more local from an ad they bought in the local paper. Huge mistake. I called AWS in early May and they sent out a salesman named Steve. He talked a big game about 30+ years in the construction business and that he guaranteed the best price. It sounded great until he couldn't put a quote together. After two weeks of nothing, I called his boss, Gordon Pasqual. He apologized and said he wouldn't send out a salesman this time and that he'd send out his top technician Moe. Moe came out the following week and that where things went downhill. He said he needed a week to build a quote which turned into another remeasuring of my house not once, twice, three times, four times, but FIVE TIMES over the next three months. Moe refused to return calls or texts but when I was transferred to him, he would acknowledge the calls/texts and say he was busy. That's when I contacted his boss Gordon Pasqual. In between this highly unprofessional & incompetent staff, their boss, Gordon Pasqual was the leader of this train to nowhere. He was full of more excuses on why he couldn't supply a quote and all were "I'm sorry, I'll have it tmw" (or Friday...or first thing next week). The operator, Maria, was given the company line that whether it be Steve, Moe, or Gordon, they never were available and would relay the message but they would not call back. In the end, they sent a estimate twice as much as any company. The estimate for 20 windows was broken down into three parts that no customer could have signed because it lacked basic detail. It was obviously put together in a few minutes just to continue a scam. I urge you to STAY AWAY and find ANY other reputable company out there with good reviews. read more

Worst experience ever with any home improvement project I embarked on. What was promised to be a 2-3 day project to install the windows took over 5 months (and that's not including the time to order the product - adding that to the timeline would make it well over 8 months). There were several phone calls, emails and letters that went unanswered and unaddressed. The job was extremely dirty, very little care was taken even to cover contents with plastic to mitigate the dust involved with grinding down cement from every opening. Window openings were left unsealed for weeks while Atlantic was figuring out how to finish the project correctly. Beware, once they take your initial deposit, Atlantic really doesn't care about the homeowner any longer. Further, without the additional expense of hiring an attorney to get them to hold up their side of the contract, I feel this project would still be incomplete. read more

We obtained a fair price for great quality windows. He recommended an efficient installer team, from optimum contractors. They worked quickly with no unnecessary noise and cleaned all the time when they finished a task. This is really a must when you have workers in your house. We were just advised that our sales rep had been terminated. After several attempts to get in contact with the rep with no response due to concerns with ordering the door handles, etc. we had to visit the store in person to receive a response, only to be told that there were other fees involved that were never disclosed in our contract which resulted in an additional cost over 1K. However, when I went in person to pick out the handles, I was told a completely different cost and at no time was it ever mentioned that we needed to hire our own locksmith. I am completely disappointed with the lack of communication we received from this company. We should have been notified regarding the termination of our sales rep and someone should have reviewed his work for accuracy. This is completely inexcusable. read more

Like many of the other online reviews I agree that Atlantic Window & Shutters seriously lacks customer service and simply client follow- up BUT thank God for Alex O. and his crew of skilled installers. Alex O., the project manager is extremely attentive, professional and responsive to all questions. His crew was focused, clean and completed my job in just one week, they moved very quickly, efficiently and were respectful to my home and belongings at all times. If you are going to use AWS, I can only suggest that you request and insist that Alex O. and his crew are assigned to your job and I would include that in the sales contract just to be certain you get a professional on your job! read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!! They told me 2-3 weeks from the day we ordered to have it installed. After 3 weeks I called they told me another month because they were "busy" which was completely unacceptable but whatever I just went with it. After that month I called and they made an appointment to install 2 weeks later, this went on, and on, and on, until about 4 months later, their excuse each time they did not show up was they did not have an installer. Finally after about 5 months from when I made the order an installer came took down our windows and when they called to have the windows delivered they said they could not find the windows?!?!? Are you kidding!!! 2 weeks before that they told me to come and pick up the windows and have someone else install it, I should have taken that option, but I had no idea what was going to happen next. They put my old windows back up, another man came the day after and remeasured our windows and had delivered what was obviously not the windows we ordered as they were too big and not even the style I ordered and dirty, they had to cut to make the windows fit and made a complete mess in the house and left everything dirty, they said they would come back to clean the mess they made but all they did was take payment and we never heard from them again and they declined all my calls. They even declined to give a discount for any inconveniences. Since they cut the wall to make the windows fit my blinds no longer fit and I had to go to Home Depot to buy new blinds. Please do yourself a favor a go elsewhere to save yourself from the headache and nightmare you will experience. It's not worth saving a few hundred dollars to be put through such a horrible experience with a company that just does not care about their customers. No option for zero stars but that's what they deserve!!! read more

I have never had such a terrible experience while buying something. Spent over $2000 for a front door and I was treated like it was charity from them. Our salesmen, Kyle, was awful he sent me the wrong quote 3 different times because he kept getting it wrong. I had to ask him multiple times when my door would arrive because he said he would call me when he had a ship date but he never called. I asked him to please help me out with some door handles and made an appointment with him on a Saturday morning. When I got there to look at the door handles he wasn't there. He never even offered to go out and do a field measurement for our door. I had to go into the store and take pictures of the door handles and sent it to him via text message. He was supposed to give me a quote on the door handles but never did even after several text messages and calls. When our door arrived it had a scratch on it and when I asked the gentlemen helping us he simple told me "I didn't delivered the door". The customer service in this place does not exist, I will never buy anything from here again. If I could put 0 out of 5 stars I would have. read more

Eventually came 2 weeks later. It's now June and I still have not received a quote. I called them for it, at least once a week. I spoke to the Digna, the operator several times. She told me she would "pass a message on". Twice I spoke to Mo, the guy that did the measuring. He was going to speak to the department that issues the quotes. Still nothing. After more than 6 months of emails and calls my french front door glass has still not been replaced. The glass began to grow something inside the interlace. The excuse is always PGT sent the wrong glass. Twice it has happened. Needless to say, Gordon, the manager will never take your calls. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They ordered 15 windows for my home in The Falls. They screwed up on the order and then they came in late. Then my side door to the garage came in "damaged" so they say. They brought in another one (different model) with the wrong measurements. Then they send me an email that my CGI Estate front door was coming on July 17???? 3 months after the original order!!! I asked when the original order was placed and then somebody named Lacey claimed that the order was incorrect and placed "sometime in May". I asked her what date the original order was placed and she dodged the question. Nothing transparent here. Just covering up. I call the sales rep numerous times and he never answers. The people working at the office for this company are incompetent and dysfunctional. The ONLY good thing about this company was the subcontracted installers who were REALLY good and had only been here from Cuba for 5 years. They were very clean, polite and professional in their work. STAY AWAY!!! HORRIBLE INSTALL AND DAMAGED PROPERTY!!! One sliding glass door has a wave. The plastering wasn't done correctly. The caulking was also cheaply done and looks horrible. Stay Away if you like your home. I even spoke with the owner, who explained that sometimes things happen and they would take measures to make sure it didn't happen to anyone else. The problem was, they couldn't fix my house correctly and was upset when I wouldn't accept a band aide on a broken arm. The answer was get through inspection and they would fix everything. Well the windows made it through inspection, so now I question MDC, and not everything was fixed. They did come out and put caulk in a couple of holes. They also ordered replacement windows that were delivered or damaged during install, that sat at their store for almost two months before PGT picked them up and took over the project. what does that say about a company. If I were the owner I would have been on sight ensuring everything was done right, but not from this place. Shop at your own risk, at least now you know. read more

absolutely terrible!! avoid at all costs. yes, they were the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. their windows were leaking and they refused to admit they were. i had multiple contractors eval the window who said they were. leaking. mohammed from atlantic wanted to charge me to take the windows out and re-stall them the correct way. they were also not installed to code. they submitted plans to the city, and then cut corners and didn't install them according to the plans they were supposed to. they are a complete clown outfit. read more
