They are quick to sell you a vehicle but after that you are on your own. I bought a car and a warranty that the Finance Director Robert Petrosyan told me covered everything except my $200 deductible. Less than one year after I bought the car, the engine light came on. Subaru could not solve the problem. Told me I had to take it to a dealer. The dealer identified the problem and submitted my claim to my warranty company. The warranty denied the number of hours submitted for repair time. The dealer tried for weeks to resolve the problem with no luck. I contacted Atlantic Subaru and spoke to Finance Manager Max Youmans. Max assured me that he would take care of it. Three days later I called him again and he was on vacation. I once again spoke to Bob who said he would take care of it. Well.....SIX weeks later.....still unresolved!!! Phone calls to the President Levon Semerjian have also gone unanswered. If you are looking for an honest business that stands by their word....this is not the place. Do NOT buy a car here. They will leave you high and dry if anything goes wrong. read more

I think I gave enough time to Atlantic Subaru so that I don't have to write this review, as originally I would love to give a full 5-star review and have met some good people working for the dealership, but my recent purchase of Subaru Ascent has been terrible. My purchased vehicle on the paper had some accessories installed according to the specification, on the day of vehicle review cargo net has been missing. I did indicate this missing part to the sales associate (Thomas Megan), who even took a note of it and assured item will be present on the day of car pickup/purchase. On the day of purchase item was still missing and dealer didn't have replacement in inventory. I was told the dealer will order item and it should arrive within 2 business days to my home address. Car got picked and once the deal was closed: sales associate never picked up the phone (though previously before I finalized my purchase he was picking up the phone), never responded to voicemails left and never got back to texts sent. It's more than a month and a half since I purchased my vehicle: nobody ever contacted me back neither missing accessory arrived in mail. The problem is not with this non-expensive accessory but the disgusting customer relationships experienced during the purchase. I hope nobody will reply to this review offering "give us a call so that we solve your issue" - I gave already enough calls and of my time, and there's nothing else I should discuss with the dealer. Never back to this dealer anymore. Just quoting Subaru's vision: "We believe in building lifelong relationships with our customers, earning their trust and exceeding their expectations by providing customer service with integrity and compassion." - its fair enough that Atlantic Subaru totally failed to comply with. read more

Extremely pleased with my last minute service for an oil change and tire rotation. I used the express service while on vacation. I was informed of the time it would take for the service. Also kept informed on the progress and other needed items that were covered under warranty (new wipers front and rear). Service department was very pleasant. Waiting area was clean and relaxing with free coffee and beverages (water and juices), as well as snacks if one desired. Upon checkout I advised them that I had a coupon for $11 and they informed we that they has a coupon for $11.50. Well that's a great deal. I was able to be in and out in less than an hour and under $100 to boot. I was then on my way for the next 5 hours before I reached my home in northern NH. Most recently I was experiencing a "shudder" while driving the car. Made an appointment with the service department. The service writers are personable, and very sharp, and know if the problem sounds greater than they can handle then they go to the service manager, Peter. Well things got done! Warranty on parts and labor, rental car, and days later my problem was resolved! Car is like new. I cannot say enough good thinks about Atlantic Subaru staff. Trying to sell the SL550 I purchased from Sam Tsimortos at Atlantic Subaru and I'm finding out that since it had bodywork, I am unable to get market price for the car. When I purchased the car Sam Tsimortos lied to me about the condition of the car. He told me the car had not had any paint or bodywork and that the wheels had no curb rash. Levon Semerjian and Gegam Sarkisian refused to pay to have the car repaired and so I had to go out of pocket for the repair. The service dept. foreman Peter has always gone out of his way to be fair, and honesty comes naturally to him. He has a very pleasant demeanor as well. All the techs have been great! Mike is a Subaru Master Technician who has earned our confidence; so, Jesse (our very favorite employee there) has him work on our Forrester. We have found all the employees in the service department to be competent and friendly. Jesse knows our car and there is never any concern that something will be missed. A lovely, knowledgeable, highly competent woman! We contacted a number of dealers looking for the right Crosstrek for our son. Atlantic Subaru provided the quickest and best feedback hands down. Everyone we interacted with was very responsive, courteous, and professional Our first contact was Aiden White who works in business development. Aiden was very helpful and answered all our questions quickly without any hedging. When we asked him for the out the door price, he broke it down for us without being asked. We were surprised that he wasn't already a salesman. Aiden turned us over to Matt Menga our sales representative. Matt could not have been more accommodating. He was available at all hours answering our texts usually within minutes. He did an excellent job in getting everything together quickly especially since it wasn't your typical vehicle purchase. First, everything was done online. We never even knew that Atlantic Subaru existed before finding them online. Second, we were registering the vehicle in Massachusetts using my son's New Jersey license and his address in Boston where he had just signed a lease. All the documents had to be sent to Maine for signing because our son was there for the week. Finally, Atlantic Subaru arranged to have the vehicle shipped to NJ. Matt then had us work with Haik who took us through all the offers Subaru had to offer for new and used vehicle purchases. No hard sell, just a thorough explanation of what was offered and what the cost was. In the end we did purchase the extended warranty because of the value. Haik was just as helpful and knowledgeable as the rest of the team. We ran into a couple of minor issues with the timing of delivery but Matt made sure that we were informed at all times. This place is so shitty I made a Yelp account just to save others from dealing with this. This dealership uses predatory sales tactics to pressure you into a worse deal than you should take. We called ahead and let them know that we were interested in a specific Outback. They continued to email us at least 5 times badgering us to see if we were still coming. I left work early and drove an hour and a half just to get sat down while Bob pretended to look for the car. He returned saying that someone had already put a deposit on it several hours before that day. They didn't let us know that in the emails of course. He then proceeded to offer us another Outback that was a year older and had 20 thousand more miles on it for the same price. They were banking on us being desperate and stupid. When I told him we weren't paying the same money for an objectively worse car he said, "Well that's what you're paying." I don't think so. Fuck you, Bob. I doubt the car even was on the lot in the first place. If you look at other google reviews and Yelp reviews you'll find that several people have had the EXACT same situation happen to them. I recently bought a car at Atlantic Subaru. The dealership could have been much better about COVID but some of the staff are in denial and not wearing masks correctly. I picked up my new car and had to return to have it inspected but the paperwork would not be available for 2 hours because sales still had the registration. No one in service thought to let me know that ahead and expected me to wait. They were beyond rude. I left and had my reg emailed to me and sent a copy of the inspection to the dealership to have them reimburse me the cost of the inspection. Never happened. No one contacted me again. If at the start of a car relationship with a dealer, you are treated this way why would you ever go back. read more

I would avoid this place at all costs. I emailed the Internet sales manager for a quote on an '07 Subaru Outback Sedan. They offered me a great price, so I went down to see them. Once I told them the price I was given they said they could meet it, but they low balled me on my trade to make up for the error. After an hour or so the agreed to their initial quote.I gave them the down payment and they said the car would be in the next day. The weird thing is that they refused to tell me the interest rate. The car never came in. In fact it didn't come in until 3 weeks later. The morning when I was supposed to pick up the car they called saying it had a broken ECU, but could get me a new ECU or a new car soon. That never happened either. Recently bought a 2019 Forester Limited - our first Subaru. I complained how at highway speed, I could feel a slight shake or shimmy through the steering wheel. While the dealership balanced the wheels (so they say they did, kinda have to wonder with all the bad Yelp reviews) and test drove it, there is still a slight shake. For this kind of price, I would have thought it would drive better on the highway. I was told to drive it a bit longer and let the wheels break in - I have never heard of that. So after nearly a month of driving and a trip back to the midwest, I am regretting this purchase. I have bought 2 cars from Atlantis Subaru and am generally happy with their customer service. Adam was very helpful in showing my husband and I the new Ascent. After sleeping on it, we decided that we really did not need the bigger Ascent so we started doing more research on the 2020 outback. It got very confusing to try to pick just what trim model we wanted and lunch had been skipped so hunger won out and we went to lunch. Third time is a charm. We came back for a 3rd time.Knew we wanted the Touring model, but not the turbo engine. We do very little highway and long distance driving so we didn't need it. Sam was our salesperson. He answered all our questions and walked us thru the process.Our car was brought in from Conn.very quickly. We made our deal, got all the paper work done and Andy showed us everything Tech about our new Outback. It took several hours for our insurance company to get back to Atlantic with the info so we could get our plates.Sam and Andy did everything they could to keep us updated on the progress. Gave one less star because the process itself just seems to take far longer than needed. This is our 4th Outback and it does not disappoint.
