10/31/2024: I had another great experience using Atlantic Plumbing HVAC this week. I contacted Atlantic Plumbing about a week ago after I had discovered a crack starting in the copper sewer drain pipe under the crawl space of my home. I made an appointment to have it looked at to see what my options might be. I could have had just a small section of the copper pipe removed and repaired, but decided since our brick rancher was built in 1964, that all of my copper drain pipes had seen their better days and selected to have them all changed out with PVC pipe. The cost to have what was needed to be done was $8,750, and it was worth every penny. The Atlantic Plumbing HVAC workers that came out to our home were Josh P. and Junior A. They did a great job. They changed out all my copper drain lines running between my washing machine, my kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower and toilet. Its a lot of work to crawl around under a house to remove old plumbing and install new, they both earned every dollar for the work they did. This was my first time meeting Josh and Junior and I found them both friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They also answered the many questions I had and explained the process that this type of job required. I enjoyed talking to both of them and hope I deal with them again. Our little Yorkie, Tiger, usually barks at anyone who walks down the sidewalk in front of our house, and goes even crazier if they get close to our gate or front door. But this time Tiger did real good and didn't make a sound the whole time Josh and Junior worked in our home. I think dogs have a good sense of one's character which says something to me about these two guy the way he behaved. My wife and I were a little concerned how Tiger would be for the couple of days they were here, but it all worked out good and we were able to relax even better then we had expected. Thanks again guys for helping make one of my long time dreams come true while you were here. This is my 3rd time this year using Atlantic Plumbing at my home. The first time was back in March when I had a new 40 gallon Bradford White water heater installed. The 2nd time was for yearly scheduled maintenance on our HVAC gas pack, and this week having all the copper drain pipes replaced under the house. Each time, my wife and I have been 100% satisfied with the work performed. If I had to use one word to describe the quality of work that Atlantic Plumbing performs it would have to be "Outstanding." From the girls who take the phone calls for service and do the scheduling, to the workers who perform the various jobs, this company is top notch. I have dealt with a lot of home improvement and repair companies over my 41 years as a homeowner and my experience with dealing with Atlantic Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has been the best. Thanks again to everyone I dealt with this week. I couldn't be more happier with the work that was performed here and the final results. Thanks again everyone, Les, Candy and Tiger. read more

Since you want to act like I never had service from them. Here is the quote for the 80 dollar part that most places charge around 1200-1800 to fix. The entire coil price (4500ish) was for if the TVX couldn't be taken off, which it was two bolts so the coil replacement wasn't necessary. This could have been ID'd if the tech had removed the service panel and looked at the coil in the first place. So ultimately you were charging 3800ish dollars to replace a TVX which was a 80 dollar part. You wasted my time and kept my family in the heat for an additional week due to lack of communication. I got my system eventually fixed for 380 bucks ish, with nothing ID'd by your tech actually needing to be replaced. Thanks for nothing. read more

Is there some else I can speak to , other than Mary. I scheduled my maintenance through your company for December, which was the earliest at the time, when the maintenance appointment was made. The gentleman I spoke with at the time told me I could pay for my renewal during the appointment in December. Mary calls me today and says I have until tomorrow (11/11/25) which is really today or my appointment will be canceled. As a customer for over ten years, and I have always paid the renewal at a maintenance call/appointment. Why is Mary threatening me with cancellation if I do not pay today? Robert H. My work order document listed several false comments that I had NOT made. I asked them to correct the w/o document and they refused. Atlantic Co./Hampton said it doesn't matter for office use. So after talking with them for 2 weeks they are willing to let me go after being a customer for over 10 years. Very upsetting / unprofessional (office service). read more

For me to say that these guys are amazing would be a disservice to how happy I am. I was able to get a same day appointment for my problem. I called for an issue with water flow in my home. Not only did they track down the source of the problem, but they also remedied it and gave me suggestions for other plumbing-related questions I had. Thank you so much for fixing my plumbing issue! I couldn't ask for better service! The cost was definitely worth every penny! read more

Atlantic is the Absolute best. I've used them for many years. Each time, I'm always pleased with their work, their prices, and even more importantly that they care so much. Today, their techs were here for my heating tune up. We live in a cul-de-sac and it just so happened to be trash and recycling pick up day. Richie heard the truck coming and rushed out to the street to make the tower easier for the driver to reach, so we wouldn't get skipped. Might not sound like much, but it just shows how much they care about the individual customer. I've always known that. I'll never use any other company. I know eventually we'll need to replace our unit. I know who'll do that for us, Atlantic. Thank you for caring Atlantic. read more

I contacted Atlantic Plumbing for an estimate to add a new gas line to our house. We agreed on a day for them to come out and they called that day and said they were on their way. We never heard from them again. I contacted them four times after that to find out why - three times by phone, leaving a message each time, and the fourth time via their website. I never got a response from any of my repeated requests to contact me. I can't recall a company with a more bizarre approach to conducting business. read more

Late at night on a Saturday I was unable to turn off the water in the bathtub. I was forced to turn off the main water switch. I went online to see who I could call for emergency service. I've been using Atlantic Plumbing since I moved into my current home six years ago and was surprised to see they were open until 11:30pm on Saturdays. It was about 11:10pm when I called and I actually got to talk to a live person, not an answering machine! I explained my predicament and received a call back first thing in the morning telling me that a service person was on the way. Joe arrived before 11am, diagnosed the probem within minutes, replaced the broken part and turned my water back on within an hour. Thank you for the great service! read more

We were experiencing a water leak in our front yard. We were happy to get a same day appointment. Josh and Trevor came out and found the leak within 5 minutes of digging 2 feet into my yard. They were both very nice and professional. I mentioned a low water pressure in my bathroom sink and Josh showed me what the issue was and took care of it for me. I highly recommend Atlantic for your plumbing needs! read more

I'm glad I decided to go with Atlantic! I called, asked for a quote and because the price was right I scheduled an appt! Although they had to reschedule my appt to the following day and they arrived 2 hrs later than promised, I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Joe and Junior reset my toilet and figured out the source of the leak coming from my tub spout. They also did us a solid and re-installed the circular plate for our shower handle! I was hovering and asking a lot of questions that they didn't mind answering and walked me through what they did to fix the problem! I also love that this company doesn't charge by the hr but by the job asked of them. read more

I contracted with another company who addressed issues with a gas line and gas light. The cost was $609 to include all materials, labor, permit and inspection. The work was outstanding and their pricing honest. Atlantic's work may have been outstanding but their price was less than honest. For them to quote a price of $5,965 for the same work was outrageous and a discredit to Atlantic Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. If they didn't want to do the work, they should have said so instead of quoting such a ridiculous price. My business will be going elsewhere. read more

Ok, we wake up on Saturday morning to find a bedroom carpet soaked... our hot water radiator was leaking. My wife calls Atlantic and about 15 minutes later the technician is at our door! The technician was: - Professional in attitude and skills - Thorough - Clean... he made sure the area was spotless before he departed. We only allow Atlantic to address our plumbing and heating needs. We appreciate the fixed price billing. read more

I messaged Atlantic plumbing let Sunday night about a possible water leak from our 2nd story laundry room and they replied back within 10 minutes to confirm it wasn't an emergency. The only issue I ran into is they transcribed my phone number down wrong from the night before so after an hour of not hearing from them in the morning I called and they apologized for the confusion and said they would have someone that day. Dave and Jordon arrived around 4 pm. They quickly assessed the water damage checked the attic to verify it wasn't the upstairs furnace drain. After 2 quick cuts in the drywall the leaking pipe was located. Overall the repairs were completed in about 2 hours. Dave and and Jordan were extremely professional and I would highly recommend this company again for any plumbing or HVAC needs. Bonus, the repairs were very reasonable and military discount was provided. read more

When they say they warranty their work - they are absolutely right! Professional in every respect! They honor their work and word, which are not a given. I am the son & grandson of plumbers, and just could not be more pleased with every response with Atlantic over the years. They are our "go-to" when something comes up! (Kudos to Joe, who did the work today. Through in every category. Hang onto him!) read more

I scheduled an appointment almost a week in advance. Amy gave me a window 11-2:00 pm which I waited and waited and waited. finally when no one showed up I called. She told me I could reschedule tomorrow. I said no thank you and hung up. Amy had no concern or care about my sitting in my house waiting for them for over 3 hours. I give Amy (the receptionist and the group) a zero out of five. Period. read more

This company is awesome! After dealing with another company and my water heater issue not getting fixed, I went to google. Atlantic popped up, I read the reviews and thought to give them a try. I am not disappointed and so glad I looked for a different company from the original. Not only was the price half of what I was previously quoted, they provided all the information and answered all our questions. As well as diagnosed an issue that we didn't even realize and is going to save our water bill in the future. I highly recommend Loic and Nick; both very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks!!!! read more

My wife and I have used Atlantic for plumbing issues (2 separate visits now), and today we had them come out for an issue with our air conditioner. We have a 5 month old baby, and a 3 year old, so we were super impressed when they were able to come out quickly to fix our a/c. For today's visit, our tech was Mark and he did an amazing job. He was professional, polite, and he put on shoe covers over his shoes when inside our home. Mark also communicated clearly (in terms that I could understand) what was wrong, and what he did to fix our a/c unit. Between all the visits, Atlantic has done an incredible job. We can't say enough good things about their techs, and the owner behind the company, Tom Hartman. As long as we live in the area, we will always use Atlantic. If you're looking for an air conditioning, heating, or plumbing company that you can trust, and that will do an amazing job... don't hesitate at all, just call Atlantic. read more

These guys are great, reliable, doesn't try to jerk you around on price. I would recommend.

Our air conditioner went out and we called another service. They gave us a 3-hour window and then called to cancel at the last minute. So we called Atlantic. WOW! They actually answered the phone with a human voice and he had a technician call us back. They called back within minutes and set up a service which they honored ON TIME! On top of that, they were able to solve the problem and had us up and running in no time! I love these guys! Professional, courteous, and most of all TRUSTWORTHY! read more

I live out of state but was dealing with a house that was in Hampton. Unfortunately My schedule was not very flexible but they were able to work with me multiple times. I had a bad A/C unit, and bad plumbing. I had to call Atlantic multiple times and every time they were friendly, informative and extremely flexible. This is the company to work with when it comes to A/C or plumbing work. They even sent me a gift card in the mail, how cool is that! read more

I live in MD but needed to find the source of a leak coming from the 2nd floor on my rental property in Hampton. Tom Hartman promptly contacted me with a solution and scheduled a time to fix the issue with my tenant. Reasonable price and military discount was a plus! I will continue to use Altlantic Plumbing services for future needs. A+!! read more

After a bad deal with a scam of a contractor, I called Atlantic. They scheduled an appointment for the next day and everyone was professional and extremely helpful. I told Atlantic what the contractor had done and said, and both Tom and Loic said the contractor really didn't know what he was doing. But they did and got my washing machine running reliably. 20 loads of laundry later and the pipe is still draining! If I had one complaint about Atlantic it would be that they sent me a $25 new homeowner's gift card in the mail and I got it right after they visited! Too bad not before, but frankly, I'll be calling them for all my plumbing needs from now on so the gift card will be used. Excellent job. read more

I couldn't have been happier with our experience with Atlantic. They were able to set up an appointment for us when it worked for our schedule. The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and just a nice guy. He had great things to say about working for the company as well. I say call these guys first. You won't be disappointed. read more

Workers came in and out less than 1 hour and charged a very steep price ($400) for a job that had no complications. Just my opinion.

Very unhappy with this company. Had to call them numerous time in order to get our bill. Never received the books they were suppose to send regarding the A/C and furnace they installed. Had a plumber to come out to fix a leak - took 10 minutes. He made the statement "How's that for $150 dollar job". I had an emergency call for a house in Chesapeake and the service guy had to pull the stove out, a panel on the cabinets out and spent an hour fixing a leak. Their bill was only $10.00 more than their ten minute repair job. Sent an email to the various contacts at the company to complain about the service - never received a reply or a phone call asking how can we make it better. Apparently they don't care. read more

I recently used them to take a look at a rental house with an outside A/C unit that had coils freezing up. They were able to dispatch someone to look at the unit within a day. Sean was professional and gave me a good assessment of the situation and solution. The freon fillup and dye check were done on time. Jennifer was pleasant on the phone and easy to work with. I would use them again. read more

These guys are great! Renting a home and had to have the faucet replaced then the next day a pipe burst in the wall to the hose bib line. Loic fixed both repairs on separate days and was finished in no time even with the snow and icy roads they were here fast. Really knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Wish I could give a 0. It would have been nice to have a fire during this cold weather. I had them come inspect my gas fireplace on 12/9/15. Charged me $65 and told me that it would go towards any repairs that needed to be done. They told me I needed a new chimney cap and they would get it to me in a week. Over a week later and I still hadn't heard from them. I called them and they told me they would call be back. A week later and no call. I called them again and was told the parts manager was out of the office and they would call me back on that day. Again no call back. I called back the next day and was told the manager would call me back. After a few days I was called back and told that they would have the part and get it done with in a week. Well here we are January 22, 2016 and nothing! I just want my $65 back so I can go somewhere else. If you want something done look elsewhere. read more
