Save you money, please call a quality mechanical hvac company, they were called to my house due to my heat only running for about 4 hrs at a time, then will not run for 8 hrs or more. We woke up this morning to a 48 degree house, then when they got here the heater was running the new normal 4 hr cycle so the mechanic says nothing is wrong with your unit, but call us back when it goes out again, then sends a bill for doing nothing, I even literally told him the error code that keeps popping up, but that wasn't good enough. They just want your money no troubleshooting or anything. So we get to look forward to waking up to. 48 degree house. Very quick to respond via yelp project! I called to be certain and they were very friendly and accommodating. They gave me a two hour window and showed up 10 minutes into the allotted time frame! Diagnostics were rather quick however had to get repaired the following day due to part needed. I wish I could give more stars! We had a drain line leak and were unable to diy fix. We felt bad for calling on a Sunday on one of the hottest weekends. Other places we called prior had no availability until the next week. When we called Murillo, she was very nice and had great communication and was able to schedule us same day in the afternoon. Jay Honeycutt arrived earlier than appointment time, prompt to start the job and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. Our AC unit died in the beginning of June and we reached out to Murillo Mechanical and they were absolutely AMAZING!! They came out on June 5th to replace our unit and they were very professional and also talked and explained to our 4 year old son what they were doing and I would highly recommend them to anyone!! Our HVAC broke a day before my wife was due with our second son. With a newborn on the way, as well as a heat wave, this was a no-joke, life-threatening emergency. Murillo responded to my 6:30am message the next day within minutes and a servicer arrived within just over an hour. The problem(s) with my HVAC turned out to be complicated, but Jay and Robert kept me in the loop and generously gave of their time while I was in the hospital. When their distributor failed to timely ship a crucial part fue to COVID delays, Jay drove to two separate warehouses to pick it up himself. Then, despite the time of day (night), he installed the part, fulfilling his promise of when the a.c. would be repaired. This company goes over the top for its customers. I would recommend them to anyone experiencing an emergency or otherwise. read more

After calling 4 different companies without getting somebody to come out and check what is wrong with our AC this company answered and told me they will call me back in about 1 h which happened indeed. After 2 more hours Robert was at our business on a Saturday after 4 pm to check what is wrong and managed to fix it in about 20 min. Thank you so much! read more

If you take one message from this review, Murillo Mechanical is the business you should call if you have AC (and I assume any other) issues. My first interaction was when I called on a Friday evening because I had an AC unit installed by another company and called around to try to have my system up and running. The previous company quoted a price and then when they installed the unit, told me I needed another part. They estimated a price but said they would get me an official quote on Monday. While waiting to hear from them, I called Murillo Mechanical. A human answered and that person was not some hourly worker at a call center but the someone who actually understands HVAC; the owner of the company answered the call. He was helpful and provided me with useful information. I explained my situation and he told me that if that was the case, he gave me a price for the call out, parts and labor. On Monday afternoon, I called Murillo Mechanical and asked them to come look at the unit. The very next day, the part was ordered, installed and my AC system was repaired and cooling. I might add the cost was much less than the other company estimated it would cost and done before the other company ever called me with an estimate. In fact, at the time of this writing, the previous company still had not given me an estimate. Bottom line. Murillo Mechanical seems to do business the old fashioned way. They tell you something, their word means something, their prices are reasonable, and they do good work. I only wish I knew about them before I bought my AC unit from someone else. Next time, I will use Murillo Mechanical from the start to avoid the hassles, aggravation and disappointment that I experienced with other companies. FIVE STARS out of Five. We needed to have two float switches install on our HVAC system. I received an estimate via yelp from Murillo, I had a few questions that I sent via yelp messenger. The company's response time was incredibly quick, their prices were very competitive, and once we hired them their work ethic was awesome. The two men that came to install the float switches were on time, did the job quickly, and were friendly. Quality was great. Very good customer service. Was able to get someone out next morning. Arrived on time, shoe covers and polite. However, was not able to repair or refresh leak as it would require checking the roof unit of condo. Stated unit could only be replaced.. Checked vents and found dampers closed but deferred on opening and passed it to HOA management. Did not bring step ladder either, used my chair. I was able to get another company in later that same day. They opened dampers, went up to the roof and added refrigerant and get great results. A/C restored for my post-op son (on crutches) until unit is replaced in Fall. It helped to have the dampers diagnosed but wished he would have completed the job. read more

Did a very poor job installing brand new AC unit, as per their recommendation. A month later it was leaking into the walls due to their poor job in pipe sealing and careless water drainage work. After obvious mistakes they will argue to the death not to back their own work. Do not go with these jokers or you will regret the decision later. I am convinced that most, if not all, of their positive feedback is made up from family and friends. Unprofessional and big liars. read more

We've tried several different HVAC companies for our annual service and have been unhappy with them all. Then we tried Murillo Mechanical. What a difference! These guys were experienced and actually knew what they were doing. When we started having problems with our heat pump and water heater, we asked Murillo about replacing them. They gave us a range of options at different price points to choose from and gave us the pros and cons of each of them. They even explained why the most expensive model was not a good choice for our house. In the end, we got much better systems than were original to our house. We immediately noticed how much quieter our mechanical systems are. I highly recommend Murillo Mechanical for your HVAC needs. read more
