This place is super fast and convenient for me, but I had a terrible experience with the groomer, Scott. To sum it up, he literally yelled at me on the phone for canceling on them in the past (mind you, I gave plenty of notice), and then when I did bring my cats in, I asked for a short and even cut-tail, legs, everything . I tipped really well despite the attitude he gave me a few days prior, then got to my car and saw the cats were not cut properly! I brought them back in and asked him to please do a quick trim up on the furry areas and HE TOLD ME, NO! He said my cats were difficult, which was the first time any groomer anywhere has said that about my cats! I almost never came back here after such a terrible experience, but I am so happy I did! I needed my cats cut, and thought purely out of convenience, I would give them one last shot.. Heather was my groomer this time and she was so so friendly! When I picked them up, she commented that they were so well behaved, and according to their chart, they were "difficult", or so the last groomer, Scott, had written! I told her that that had surprised me, and she assured me that Scott was no longer working there! I think that was a great move for this business! Heather was amazing and my cats left happier than the time before, and they were the best they've ever looked!! 5 stars for her! I will be requesting her from now on!!! read more

We love Atlantic Doggery. We have been to a few different groomers until my Vet recommended Them. We have been going there since 2010. We try to take our pugs every month for a full grooming. Shave, nails trim, ear clean, glands, and a bath. They always come back beautiful and smelling great. My girls love being there, and get a treat each time we come as they have some really great treats and food. Ask for Heather, she is awesome! Heather and her crew are great. Our girls love them too. read more

I am so happy to have found Heather at Atlantic Doggery. She used to groom my dogs at another shop -- then she had moved onto buy her own shop. Well, I really noticed a difference when the other shop replaced Heather with another groomer! Heather really is great. The haircuts she does are consistently great. She listens and does what you ask for. The dogs love Heather, which makes me feel comfortable. The prices are totally fair, and it's an adorable shop in a great area. I urge any dog parent to give Heather a try. You will be happy. read more

Love this place. Heather is the best and my dog (my child) absolutely loves her. He's always been a bit anxious when going to the groomer but, here he runs in and goes to the back like he owns the place. Definitely makes me warm and fuzzy. read more

Atlantic Doggery - Tanner, my Hound Dude. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Pompano Beach, Florida

Our dog Jojo has been going here for a while. They are fantastic. They do a great job and are very trustworthy. 5 stars, would reccomend

While they usually do a pretty good job it takes them forever to get the dog back out the door. Turnaround times here in my opinion or wait too long. I drop my dog off at one and can't pick him up till five or 6 PM. Me that's way too long. read more

I recently moved to the area from Maryland and my mini schnauzer was in desperate need of grooming. I was very anxious to find a great groomer because a year ago, her ear had been clipped severely by a groomer we had just started going to since her previous one had closed her business. After a some exhaustive research, I decided to give Atlantic Doggery a try. After getting checked in, Heather came out to meet me personally and asked me many questions about my pup Mia. She put me at ease about any concerns I was having. I was called a few hours later when Mia was ready for pick up and when I arrived I was soooo happy!! Mia seemed completely relaxed (as much as a mini schnauzer can be) and looked amazing!!! Without a doubt the BEST she has ever looked. All of her shaved areas were completely consistent - nothing too short or too long. Her a skirt, beard and brows were all perfect also!! We are definitely making Atlantic Doggery our grooming home base!!!! read more

The haircut our dog gets here is really good, especially the paws; we love the way does them but I don't think she is disinfeting her tools the proper way. We did not have this problem before the summer but the last 2 times our dog got some problem with her ears after her grooming; she can't stop scratching them and we have to use ear drops on her. It might be because her ears are sensitive but she never gets this problem anywhere else. read more

The Best, Your Pet will Love Atlantic Doggery Our dog, Flash, loves going to see Scott, Ron, and Robbie. When I walk him in the morning he pullls me over to the doggy day care and when he sees Ron he waggs his tail so much I think he is going to dislocate his back end. We bring Flash for grooming and day care , we have never had a problem. Flash had allergies last summer and his skin was irriating him so Scottt bathed him with an all natural product and let him soak in a conditioner. Flash stopped itching and was a happy playful dog again. The service is excellent the prices are great . Camille & Alan Watson read more

I was very nervous to try a new groomer. I have a small dog that was attacked by a larger dog and almost killed. He is very skiddish around any other dogs. Heather and her staff took great care of him and his sister. Heather suggested that we start out with a shorter visit for the first time and that we keep my dogs in a separate area away from the big dogs. Not in a cage, but a small walled off open area so they can hear and smell everything going on, but feel safe at the same time. I was very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, and care that was given to my fur babies! read more

They're close to our new house, so we thought we'd try it out. The staff is so friendly and quick when you need a nail trim or two. We take our two min-pins, Rocky (Rock Star Studly) and Coco who literally smiles. Coco never minds but Rocky is a bit scared. Even after being peed on by a "rock star" the staff smiles and takes care of him. Thankfully he doesn't do that anymore. We won't take them anywhere else! read more

I'll first start off by saying it is our fault for not know the styles and hair cuts available for 4 year old pomeranian. The Groomer there recommended the "Lion Cut" to us, and based on their professional (or what we thought was their professional) judgement we decided to go with it. We are very disappointed the groomer's recommendation and the kids behavior with our dog. The fact they recommended this style to us without further consulting on what it is, is just poor service. We will not go back to this place, and we not advise anyone else to use this groomer either. read more

This place is the best! Our pup comes home happy and looking better than ever every time! read more

I dropped my 70 pound Shiba Inu-mix off around 1:00 pm on a Saturday. I had to drive a couple hours north to pick up my son, and Scott said it was no problem. I did not make it back in time to pick up my dog, but my fiancée was there to get him. They did an awesome job shaving and clipping his nails. We will definitely be coming back again. Thanks to Scott and all the staff at Atlantic Doggery! read more

We know this beautiful place for few years now, and we had only good experiences and professional advices. Scott and Doug are the most professional educated people you can find these days in this field . Our boxer Spartacus is happy to go there for grooming and he loves the food we buy from this place(OriJen) recommended by them. We find also a variety of grooming and boutique products. I could not say enough great things about the Atlantic Doggery. I recently moved to Fort Lauderdale and struggled finding a reliable groomer for my Goldendoodle. I went to see Heather based on a recommendation and am SO please with her, her employees, and the grooming outcome of my pup. If I could give the Atlantic Doggery 10 stars I would! read more

You are risking your pet's health or quality of life if you trust this place. Please reconsider and find another place with a better reputation. There may be more positive reviews than negative but ask yourself this-- is it worth it to take just one chance on your pet being treated terribly by this horrible place. My pet was treated horribly and did not recover for many months after being cared for. Don't do it. read more

Heather & team are amazing with our baby and his pack of friends daily at doggy daycare. Lennox races and pulls me in everyday to get ahead start to playing ! Couldn't have asked for a better first experience with a groomer. The shop is cute and and Heather made us and our very shy puppy as comfortable as possible. She and her staff were patient and understanding and Lattee came out looking adorable. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Heather and her team are truly the best people I could ever entrust the care and appearance of my Cookie with! I've taken her to other places before and, while I've never been disappointed by any other groomer or daycare, Atlantic Doggery is just so great that I would never go anywhere else again. Cookie LOVES being there, and always looks fantastic whenever she gets groomed. Great hours, great prices...what more can I say?? read more

Absolutely the best! I have a 12 year old Frenchie who really doesn't need to be groomed that often (short-haired), but I take her to Robbie at Atlantic Doggery, as it is like taking her to camp. My dog absolutely loves going here. I watched Robbie cut her toes one day...I think he is the real Dog Whisperer. I was shocked as my baby acted as if someone was petting her rather than doing her nails (which she won't let me do). Robbie is not only the best groomer we have ever had, but he saves us so much money with his unbelievable health tips. Rather than go straight to a vet, I first ask Robbie his advice and 100% of the time thus far...I have not had to go to my vet! What great savings in money, time and unnecessary stress. We also purchase all our dog food and supplements from Robbie. As a grooming client, we get a 10% discount. There are countless ways Robbie and his loving staff show us their appreciation for our patronage. They all treat my baby as if she was their own. I can't say enough great things about this, one stop destination for all things best for my baby! Thanks so much Robbie and staff! read more

My dog is very anxious and gets extremely nervous when it comes to grooming his paws. I haven't had a lot of luck with him. He's either been kicked out of salons or he gets a terrible hair cut. My dog is such a cutie and they were so patient with him that they were able to give him such a nice hair cut. I greatly appreciated how patient they were with him and how much more handsome they made him. I'm very happy that I found this place! read more

I had a wonderful experience with my one year old Mini golden doodle at Atlantic Doggery. Savannah had quite a few matted area in her fur and Heather did an outstanding job dematting her and she gave her an adorable cut. We came back this morning to buy some natural dog food. Savannah could not wait to get inside. She was very excited to be going back in. I recommend this very clean facility for grooming, pet food and daycare. read more

I brought my Mini Golden Doodle Savannah in for a grooming this past week. It was the first time she had gotten so matted, and I was concerned. Heather did an outsanding job with Savannah, and she looks adorable. I look forward to using Atlantic Doggery for all grooming and bathing, and am going to look into using the day care as well. Great place, highly recommended Diane read more

Owner is rude and impersonal. Was two minutes late to pick-up dog and they wanted to charge additional. As well, the grooming job they did was the worst he ever received. Would of given them a second chance until I remembered how rude the groomer was. No thanks - I'll take my business elsewhere where it's appreciated. - Awful experience. read more

We bring our two yorkies all the way from the Keys. After years of uncaring groomers, we found Scott and Ron right after they first opened and near our 2nd home in Pompano Beach. Our pets (and us) are delighted with the results. They love the social interaction with other dogs and come home pleasantly exhausted from playing with their canine buddies. They are good about listening to what we want and our dogs really enjoy the special food that Scott recommended. read more

This is the place to get your dog groomed. We had our Soft Coated Irish Wheaten Terrier here twice and Heather has given the best "haircut" ever.
