I recently moved from NC to Pompano Beach and I needed a new groomer for my 3 year old Pomeranian. I am very pleased with this place, Karina was so sweet to our dog who gets a little nervous when she goes to the groomers. I asked for a simple trim and she did just what I asked. I made my follow up appointment and I highly recommend Petcetera institute.

    So stinkin' cute

Finding one that treats your pets like family is almost impossible -- but that's exactly what Riverside Animal Hospital does. My senior cat, Ramses, owes his life to the care and compassion of this team. They didn't just treat him; they saved him. From the moment you walk in, the staff are welcoming, kind, and professional. They don't just rush you in and out -- they take time to explain what's going on, what options are available, and what the best next steps are. They communicate clearly, honestly, and with a warmth that makes you feel like you're not just a client, but part of their extended animal family. They're never shy about showing their facilities, which says a lot. Everything is clean, organized, and modern, and you get the sense that your pet is in safe, capable hands. There's no mystery here -- just transparency and professionalism. As a senior cat, Ramses needs extra care. The team here has gone above and beyond to make sure he's comfortable, healthy, and thriving. The level of attention and compassion they've shown is rare. Instead of feeling like another number, Ramses has been treated like an individual -- and it's made all the difference. Ramses didn't just get care here -- he got a second life. Riverside Animal Hospital is everything you'd want for your pet's healthcare: compassionate, communicative, transparent, and lifesaving. I couldn't be happier with the care Ramses is getting here -- and if you love your animals, this is where you bring them. They treat pets like royalty... Ramses included.

Dr. Crance and Dr. Robinson always take such good care of him. Today, Dr. Crance cared for Brody and explained the different causes for his behavior. She is extremely trustworthy, efficient, affable, and professional. She is also one of the most reasonably priced pet sitters in the city. I never worry when my cat is under her care. She's bailed me out on several occasions when I've been my absent-minded self and called her after I've already abandoned the poor kitty alone at home. By far, the best testament to her value is that on the rare occasion I've been home when Julie has visited, my 16 year-old cat has jumped from my lap and run straight to her.

I have never known her not to be available (or have a reliable back-up) or to fail to show. It's obvious that this lady loves the animals in her charge. Whenever we come back there's always a note from her telling us anything that we might need to know or just telling us that everything went well. A week or so ago, the "welcome home" note pointed out some symptoms that the boys were showing that we should have noted ourselves but hadn't. As a result they went straight to the vet and are now getting treatment for chronic renal failure. Julie extended their lives and improved the quality of their last months with her note. For that we owe her far more than her fees will ever cover. I recommend her without reservation.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Pet Paradise…read more A week before my scheduled boarding, I completed a tour of the facility and completed the the required paperwork prior to boarding. During the tour, I specifically asked if there was anything else I needed to do before my dogs' stay, and I was told everything was set. Today, I arrived to board my two dogs before leaving on a trip tomorrow. One is an almost 2-year-old French Bulldog who is perfectly healthy and fully trained, and the other is my 17-year-old Shih Tzu. After arriving, I was told they would not board either dog. My French Bulldog was excited from the car ride and had just been outside before we drove over, so she was panting. They said her temperature was elevated and refused to board her. As soon as we got home, she was completely fine, acting like her normal self, and showed absolutely no signs of illness. My 17-year-old Shih Tzu was also refused because I had put a diaper on her for the drive as a precaution in case she became nervous and had an accident in the car or lobby. I explained that she does not wear diapers at home and that I simply take her outside regularly. I didn't even bring extra diapers because she doesn't need them. Despite explaining this, they still refused to board her. What is most frustrating is that none of these concerns were discussed during my tour or after I completed all of the paperwork. Had I been informed in advance that these issues could prevent boarding, I would have had time to make other arrangements. Instead, I was turned away the day before my trip with virtually no notice. As the owner of brachycephalic breeds, I fully understand that facilities must prioritize safety, and I appreciate caution when it is genuinely necessary. However, this experience left me feeling that my dogs were being judged primarily because one is a brachycephalic breed and the other is elderly, rather than being evaluated based on their overall health and individual circumstances. If your family has a French Bulldog, another brachycephalic breed, or a senior dog, I strongly recommend not boarding your dogs here. My experience was incredibly stressful. I hope Pet Paradise reviews its intake process so other pet owners don't have to go through the same experience. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
