My time was short this year, but I didn't want to have a summer without a little Atlantic Brewing love. So we popped into the Midtown location for the first time. It was a little rainy, so we sat inside. But it looked like they also have some pretty cool outdoor space for options during better weather. Service was great, and the food offered a little more variety than the BBQ at the main location. Small plates. Different options. A nice change of pace. All on top of their usual excellent beer! Definitely an amazing place. They had a discount on lobster rolls on Wednesday and Sunday, and we came on Sunday. I had lobster roll and my husband had fish sandwich. Food was absolutely amazing and with a discount it was even better. It's not a typical brewery with beer and a few snacks. They have a very extensive menu, so you can come here even if you don't drink beer. Service was quick and attentive. Ambiance is very laid back and chill. Some of the friendliest staff I've met in the North East! Great beer selection I enjoyed several of all of them, and would highly recommend the Ellen Coffee Stout if available! This brewery had plenty of space to catch up with friends or hangout, and had plenty of board games to play while enjoying a few brews! Had an early dinner here on a Saturday and although relatively busy seating was still plentiful! Enjoyed the Korean BBQ Duck Wings and the Day's Special Short Rib Sandwich both were delicious and honestly left me wishing the portion of the wings was a little bigger. Great food, great service! We got the panko crusted fish with fries which husband doesn't usually choose since he likes beer battered fish better. I chose the Cadillac Mountain stout to celebrate our climb to the same mountain a few days earlier. Loved the rich taste and flavors that popped. We sat upstairs at the window ledge. My go-to brewery every time I am in Bar Harbor, Maine as a beer fanatic. There are a lot of seatings - two floors for indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. You can either do beer flights, or a pint, or even just small 5oz tasting pour. I love their wide range of beer selection. They also have a huge food menu for those who wanna grab a bite as well. Good selection of beer. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any cider (not a beer drinker) so I tried a Rose. It wasn't the greatest (but I still drank it all lol). My husband had a flight and enjoyed all the flavors. We also ordered the pretzel - holy giant pretzel! It came with mustard and beer cheese. Very good! It's a bit pricey here, but it is a tourist town! It's in an out of the way location so that was great (not so crowded). We did not get a very good recommendation or feel from our tour guide about the food, we did see quite a few people eating, however, we chose not to eat. Quite a variety of items and they all looked pretty decent but again we can't give an honest review of the food since we did not eat here. While the interior decor is stark to non-existent, the beer is good: that's what you want in a brewery. Five-ounce tastes: $3. Flight of any five tastes: $14. Pints: $8. Brewing beer is like printing money. The real ale is an easy drinking brown ale with a creamy mouthfeel and 4.8 percent ABV. The Simcoe-, Citra- and Mosaic-based mountain hopper IPA is citrusy and a little dank: a good IPA. Crisp and slightly malty, the low life lager (4.4 percent ABV) is reminiscent of a Kolsch more than an American lager. The Oktoberfest, a martzen-style lager (5.6 percent ABV) is good, but a little light on bitterness. The prosciutto panino was good, but had too much Dijon mustard. Salads are large, but lack the option to add protein. Sandwiches are served with potato chips. At Atlantic Brewing, beer is first; food is second. Stopped by the Midtown location of Atlantic Brewing after spending the morning/early afternoon at Acadai National Park. The blueberry ale was just what I needed after a day if hiking/siteseeing. It was light, refreshing, and slightly sweet, with hints of blueberry coming through at the end. Shared the fish and chips, with came with three generous pieces of panko crusted haddock and tons of fries. Really good! I also tried some of the Midtown smash burger, which was super juicy and flavorful. The burger was pretty thick at 8oz and came topped with crispy bacon, smoked gouda, and garlic aioli. In addition to my beer, I also had some of the Old Soaker blueberry soda, which I found to be just okay. Could barely taste the blueberries. Definitely prefer Maine Root over this one. Service was good. Parking could be hard to find in Bar Harbor. Although there are plenty of lots and street parking (both of which you have to pay for), you'll likely have to circle around a few times before finding a spot. read more

This is a wonderful brewery in Maine. We had their beer at a lobster place earlier in the day and were delighted to try their own brewery while we were there. We ordered a flight with different ones but I remember the blueberry ale and the chocolate stout being a crowd fav. We were stuffed from our earlier meals so did not order any food but had a good time here. The vibe is casual, decor is nice and there is plenty of seating for large groups too. Reuben was pretty good. No complaints there. For drinks, I'd recommend getting the flight of beers. We got a Real Ale, Blueberry Ale, Mountain Hopper IPA, Cadillac Mountain Stout, and Summer Ale.
