Most likely too much vermouth. The poor waiter took at least ten minutes before returning with a new martini without vermouth. He or the bartender clearly did not know how to make this. "Local Greens" were mostly baby beet greens with beets, candied walnuts, and a chocolate vinaigrette. All food was inventive, well imagined, and delicious. The lobster "pot pie" was the tastiest preparation of lobster I have had with sweet baby carrots and a lobster bisque sauce. Menu is short and limited, but each item on it is agem. Deserts are blazingly good. My only complaint was it is not handicap accessible with a long path around to the back of the building with several granite steps with no hand rail and then 3 steps up to the deck with no ramp I could see.
