Clearly they were stressed about how few umbrellas they had, but also why did they feel it was okay to sell us such a pricey table without one? The pool was tiny and cramped and full of kids and not as advertised at all. The food is alright-- I actually really enjoyed their tuna crispy rice, kale salad, and margaritas both times I've visited. The whole experience was overpriced and truly we could've done without the attitude from the staff.

Plus there were no premium stations and even very little regular cable stations. It felt like we were in some remote area where they couldn't get any station coverage. Otherwise, it was fine. Hotel suite on PH level had a jacuzzi, terrace, living room space, and bedroom with extremely soft linens. Cost was $350 a night which is what we'd pay for an ordinary room nearby. Easy parking, great coffee, very friendly staff and when we needed to extend checkout a few hours the cost was shockingly low, they were very accommodating. Didn't try room service but no problems ordering Uber Eats to the hotel. They also have an option of placing chocolate covered strawberries, rose petals and champagne in the room for $75. Regardless of occasion, choice this option! Primo will definitely stay here again if life brings us back to the neighborhood.

There are flight attendants and pilots who stay here on a very regular basis - so much so that they know everyone who works at the hotel. I've only stayed at the Sunrise 3 times, but I'd definitely go back again. The hotel staff is very friendly and they treat us well. As said above, the rooms have been renovated. They are very nicely decorated (for a budget hotel) - in warm gold tones. The bathrooms have marble countertops. There is a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in every room. There is also FREE high speed internet in every room, which to me is huge. The beds are very comfortable - honestly the mattress rivals the heavenly beds at Westins. The hotel is directly across from the train station if you need to get around. There are is shopping nearby (I believe Target, TJ maxx, etc.) and a grocery store all within walking distance. I've gotten chinese and italian delivered. They offer a typical budget hotel free breakfast in the mornings. There is a free shuttle service from JFK every 30 minutes. I'm not sure about LGA, you'd have to call them and ask. They will also take you to a gym (I believe it's a Bally's) at no charge. So this hotel has everything that airline commuters want, and we stay in alot of hotels - clean rooms, comfortable beds, food nearby, friendly staff, near the airport, and a reasonable price.

I think it was a live band until about 1, then switched to a loud sound system. The bed and walls were reverberating from the bass. It was perhaps the worst sleep I've gotten in years and I was exhausted the next day. I checked out early and we cut our trip short because I couldn't deal with two sleepless nights in a row. I got in touch with management hoping they would refund me for the night I wasn't there, and they wouldn't. They said I should have contacted them to switch rooms, but I don't see how that would have fixed having a hotel above a loud bar. I wish I had read the many reviews I now see here about how loud this place is at night. If you're a night owl this place will probably suit you, but keep this in mind if you go to bed earlier.

When we checked in showed the receptionist the service animal card and everything was fine. Around 4am my fiance and I had went to smoke a cigarette in the truck. When I walked out of the room I saw the woman staring at us in the window I had a feeling that something was gonna happen and for sure she just takes it upon herself to go in our room. Which my dog was still there and scared her. After that she was trying to get us to leave with only 50 dollars saying we never notified anyone about the dog. Or pay an extra 50 dollars for dog. She also tried to trick me to leave room so she can deactivate key card but luckily because the air conditioner was not working i left window open and was able to get in. Rm 102.We called the police and they agreed she either needs to give us full refund or let us finish out stay. She was not happy about it because she thought she was right. But I had all legal documentation for my dog. All in all you have no right to go in someones room or deny anyone for service animal unless they are be destructive or disturbing someone. She is crazy and stay away to avoid any drama if you want to have a nice night with your man or woman. She really had nothing better to do than to mess with us. Even saying I was not military becasue my cat card was expired but I had my va vard right next to it which she wouldnt even look at just kept saying I was not military.
