I was referred by a friend to Temo Foods when I was looking for some ideas to celebrate Valentine's…read moreDay. I went to the website to learn a bit more about the Temo Foods product lineup and learned that Chef Thomas can pretty much do everything in the kitchen. From providing private chef services for two or catering full on events, to making gourmet chocolates, the man makes a product that is the stuff of legend! The first time I ordered from Temo I ended up ordering the truffles. I've experienced some amazing chocolate in my life including some pretty good truffles. When I compare ANY of the truffles that I've tasted from Chef Thomas to every truffle that I've ever had in my life, his truffles are hands down the best that I've ever tasted! Some of the truffles that I've tasted are the Spiked Egg Nog & White Chocolate, Coffee Caramel & Cocoa Nib Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Caramelo, Matcha Green Tea & Yuzu White Chocolate, Cabernet & Cocoa Dark Chocolate, Pomegranate Molasses & Red Wine Dark Chocolate, Passionfruit White Chocolate, and freakin' PB&J! Yes, a peanut butter and jelly truffle (elevated to the next level of refinement of course)! They are all so full of flavor, and if hearing the flavor combinations of the truffles alone don't make your mouth water, the sight of them will. They're not only culinary masterpieces, they are truly works of art. ...But don't take my word to it. Go to the website and if you're not blown away by the truffles on the homepage, you're either legally blind or a zombie. I also love the fact that by buying from Temo Foods I am supporting a small local business. The business may be small and local but the flavor is big and the product is truly world class!

As a vegetarian I was overwhelmed but the selection of vegan meat products..... Older building, very clean. Chicken, Shrimp, Tuna, Beef, TVP, Steak, Barbecue, Sloppy Jo, Sausage, Bacon Bits, Hot Dogs, Taco Meat, I know I am barely scratching the surface of what this store has. Frozen, canned, dried, bulk... They also had some other types of health foods too-pastas, teas, gluten free items, oatmeal, etc. And lots of books. It is kind of divided into a book section and a food section. So surprised to find this in the area. If you don't eat meat it might be worth checking this place out just for the surprise factor.

Someone really needs to do a study on their marketing but for now, I'm just going to burn my lil candles. All B&BW stores are essentially the same on the visual level. I love that! You can always know what to expect, the stores are usually very organized, clean and just visually appealing. When I stepped into this Toco Hills location I saw that this store was the same as others I'd been in. When I visited, there were only 2 other guests in the store as well as employees. The employees were nice but a little standoffish which I'm so not used to. Luckily I knew what I was looking for and didn't have any questions, it was a pretty simple trip this time. With their great reward deals, sales and consistency in their brand, Bath & Body Works has definitely reminded me of why I've been a fan for so long.
