I can not recommend to use Kevin Murphy Concrete Driveways. While Kevin was extremely pleasant, and…read moreassured his warranty, he never attempted to address any of the issues with our driveway, and I attempted many times to get him to come out. The driveway was poured in wet weather and the mix of concrete was not great, because it looks like a splotchy, diseased driveway. He assured us this would fade in time (more than a few months), which is not true, as it has been 2 years. This must be his technique to get the customer to forget about the issue until you don't care anymore. There is also a corner of the driveway that has a significant jagged, surface crack - not a crack from a control joint... He never attempted to fix this either - so his warranty is worth absolutely nothing. The absolute worst, though, was the patio he poured below our deck, in which he poured concrete around our existing deck support beams, which ended up causing them to rot. At the time, I did not know this was an issue, but in researching, this should NEVER be done. Now I have to figure out how to replace the wood and cut out some of the existing patio because of a shortcut his company took to do something the absolute wrong way.

Property Medics, Specifically Max, had a lot more knowledge than the 2 other companies. I chose to work with Max and he was first class all the way! He negotiated with the insurance company and got everything needed for a proper repair. I worked with the mitigation team and need to give a big thank you to Jesse who ran the team. What an excellent worker. Lead the team and worked as hard as 2 workers. Last but not least that leads me to the restoration process and Project Manager, Frank, he was fantastic. Frank worked with us on every aspect and made sure everything was done correctly. One final shout out to the Master plumber Migel. Thank you for your knowledge and excellent work, it was a pleasure to work this entire team.

When we first reached out to property medics in 2021 for some water damage that happened, we were…read moreso grateful and happy with the service. They replaced our floors and worked with the insurance to get everything covered and not have everything on our shoulders. We also paid them separately to replace our backsplash. At first we were happy with the floors. In our inexperienced opinions, it looked great. There were a couple of areas where it felt like the floor had some movement, but we trusted in their professionalism and didn't say anything because "maybe that's how it's supposed to be". The backsplash was not the cleanest work, but after having been out of my house for months, I didn't want anymore work to be done on it so I swallowed that pill and left it alone. Fast-forward to 2023, the floor starts peeling. Little bits of the edges of the tiles are peeling. We don't do anything harsh in our house like drag furniture everyday. Life happens and now it's 2024 and the floors have gotten worse and more little sections have started popping up. We contact property medics and they inform us that their work is only guaranteed for a year and that we can have the manufacturer come out and examine the floor. So we go through the back and forth of getting someone out here from both PM and the manufacturer. PM says it's the floors, and the floors say it's PM. per the findings of the manufacturer, the floor was not leveled during installation and that is causing the flooring to chip at the edges which in turn is causing the flooring to peel. The response from Property Medics was "Unfortunately, the warranty period expired in Dec. of 2022.  As we discussed onsite earlier this year the labor warranty is for one year and we would need the material warranty to kick in to be able to address the floors." I understand the warranty only being a year, but if the floors were never leveled, how is that not voiding the warranty? This is just very upsetting that now I'm going to have to pay for work that should have been done correctly to begin with.

Jeremiah at Fulton Paving Company gave me easy to understand direct quotes at very fair prices and followed through with top quality work. My experience with this company could have been avoided had we agreed what the size of the parking…read morelot was before the project even started. I gave them a map of the size of the parking lot. It was 750 square yards of asphalt. Once we started we quickly realized that the job finished covering half a driveway. Which clearly left the lot looking unfinished. This was our error. Wish we would have seen it on the map first, regardless they almost had enough to finish the job, but they had to come back 3 days later. All in all they did what we asked and they completed the job, here is where it went downhill. This new addition I expected to be around 100 square yards (really 89 but we went high). This guys comes back with 1240 yards! What?! You telling me we added 400 sq yards. He says no u didn't add that much; thats just the total of the park lot. We measured out that parking lot personally and we calculated at most 845 square yards of total asphalt. We also used google maps to measure out the total yards. We then met the guy out on site to measure the lot. This guy would measure half way between to points and stop (multiple by 2) he says bang thats the length. So we use exact measurements he uses estimates of some abstract point in his head that's half way, and we are still 400sq yards off from each other. We could not agree with his form of measurement and they constantly argued with us on our numbers. We did pay them for 890 sq yards more than what we estimated but less than 900 because we felt google backed up our numbers. After 3 weeks they did cash our check, but we have issues with trash paved in the parking lot. We will see if they back up their one year warranty against defects. It might earn them another star.2.0. It would be lower but his assistant Deborah was very kind. The paving job was solid for the most part other than the one soda can. That said they did beat 2 other paving companies in price. Had we agreed on the square yards before the project started this could have been avoided. However I glad I was forced to measure my lost and find google maps cause Im not left taking the word of someone taking half measurements.
