TL;DR: Overpriced, doesn't listen, poor workmanship, bad materials, and will leave you in the lurch. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I called this company to come fix a lock where the tumbler had come out. I don't know if they contract their work out, but the guy that showed up didn't have the right tools to rekey a tumbler, and he literally took my key to his car to try all the deadbolts in his trunk in the vain hope that he might hit the lottery. He tells me he can't get a lock that matches the one that's in the door, but that he can get a generic equivalent that will look close, and he'll be back tomorrow. So I spend a night with a door that anyone could open with a screwdriver. I considered calling them back and canceling, but I stupidly let it ride. He comes back the next day, rekeys the new lock and puts it in. That's when I notice it doesn't look anything like the lock it was replacing. I ask him about it, and he claims that I had agreed that all that needed to match was the color. So now I have a modern style deadbolt jarringly paired with more classic style door hardware. But I've already gone 48 hours with no functional lock, so I figure I'll pay the guy and call someone else. Yeah, he asked me for $205. For 15 minutes of work and an off-brand lock mechanism. I lost my cool and swore at him, and he "fixed" it by cutting the ask to $185, claiming he could waive the "trip fee". At this point, I just wanted him out of my house, so I left him swipe my credit card. After he left, I went to close the door behind him and realized he got the bolt slightly off center, so I have to shake the door after pulling it closed to get the deadbolt to close. I'm going to be paying someone to redo this shoddy work, and I'm posting this review in the hopes that you don't make the same mistake I did. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

I locked my keys in the car at a gas station. They answered quickly and said they'd be there in 15-20 minutes. I asked about pricing on the phone and was told $19 for someone to come out and "starting at $25" to unlock the door. Sounds reasonable, right? 40mins later, someone shows up, gets the door open in less than 5mins and tells me it's going to cost $100. I tried to resolve this without having to come to social media so now I will show how the mighty the pen really is. Sunday 7/21/19 at about 7:20 am I called this company to help me with a lockout of my home and car. I needed a new car key to be made. The locksmith called me at 8 am and told me he would arrive in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later he called to asked me for my address as if he didn't receive it from dispatch. Anyhoo he arrived at about 9:15am almost an hour after he said he would get there. When he arrived he was kind and worked fast. I asked him to unlock my home first because we needed to use the bathroom and then I would meet him downstairs so I could pay him and he could make the car key. Once I came back downstairs he was complete and had my key ready. He showed me the key worked in the door and ignition and I had no worries. Paid him the $200 and thought our business was done. Later that I day I did go to the store to buy a new deadbolt for the home door and the key did start up but I did feel something in the turn but of course I dismissed that because the car started up. I came out of the store the car started up. Now, all this was Sunday. Today, being Wednesday and the 2nd time i'm using the key how about it doesn't want to work! After fidgeting with it a few minutes it starts and my dumb behind decides to go on to my destination. WHY did I ever do that!?? I go into the store come out and cant get the car to start at all. I call AFL and they tell me the manager will call me back with the Locksmiths number. Obviously, whoever the mgr is, is sitting in a office with AC and not sitting in a hot car on a hot day in Georgia because it's a hour later and I still haven't gotten a return call! I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes talking to Jesus Christ himself on high begging him to PLEASE, let this car start and if it did I would NOT drive it again with this key! I have 2 phones and the phone that I had the locksmiths direct number was in my other phone at home! (Won't the devil be busy like that?) *Sign* Needless to say I'm a good prayer from back in my Pentecostal days so the lord saw fit to answer my prayer and the car started up. I drove out of that parking lot like a hooker out of church! Got home and called the lockmith directly and he proceeds to tell me it's not the key its my ignition! Hmmm so my car was fine with the old key but now with the new key it's my ignition? I called the office to ask them to mediate this situation and they bounced me around before they put me on hold for 18 minutes without anyone coming back to the phone! I called back 3 times So, the customer service people are rude, they transfer you while your in the middle of speaking and leave you hanging on the line: without any intention of coming back to help you. Now, I've been in customer service for MANY years and Customer service 101 is NEVER leave a customer on hold for longer than 2 minutes without letting them know that you are working on their issue. So, it's apparent to me this company is just GHETTO from the Locksmith people to the front and back office! Managers don't call you back, locksmith have sub-par equipment and the people who answer the phone are rude as all get out! So, the locksmith tells me he'll be at my home in 10 minutes and a totally different person calls me and shows up at my home and says he's outside. Apparently the other locksmith didn't want to even come back and face me. This guy proceeds to cosign on the fact that its my ignition. I am asking him how is it my ignition and it was fine before I lost my key he starts getting loud with me and tells me that its the ignition but wont answer my question. He says the key is fine! Then he tells me that its my ignition and he can fix it now for me for $150. I'm like "What????" So, why when the other guy made the key and put the key into the ignition didn't he know it was the ignition? He says "The other locksmith will call you. You can have him come and fix the ignition and drives off!" Needless to say its the next day and he never called me. I called a steering mechanic I dealt with before to explain the situation. He asked me "What's the name of the Locksmith company?" I tell him and he begins to tell me his nightmare story he also had with them one time! His locksmith just happened to be calling on the other line so he clicks over to ask his advice about the situation. He clicks back and he says his locksmith says its possible it could be the way the key was cut and he could come out within a hour and make another key for $100. The steering guy says his locksmith has done many keys for him and he's never had a issue. So, of course I say ok because after all. I NEED MY CAR! well, wouldn't you know he makes a new key and the friggen thing WORKS!!!!!! You could see clearly the new locksmiths cutter was sharper than the other guys! AND just as a side note had my entire ignition taken out and inspected it was perfect nothing wrong with it!!! read more

Do not use! Very unprofessional! I had to replace the lock of my house door. They sent someone over to replace it but when he locked the door, it wouldn't open anymore. It was stuck locked and he wasn't able to fix it. When I called back to ask for someone else to fix it, they yelled at me and whenever I try calling again, they just hang up the phone. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. Sketchiest experience I've ever had. I called the company listed here and they seem to outsource and actually operate under the name of AMS. My technician flew into my neighborhood driving fast, blaring loud music with all his windows down. He had no professional ID other than a business card that didn't match the name of the company I called originally but only AMS. I was quoted something completely different over the phone in terms of pricing. I understand that they have to take a look at the door and lock because they're all different but had they given me a more accurate original quote over the phone I would have gone with someone else. I'm now out $100 for what took the technician 2 mins to open my door, not including the deadbolt. And he damaged my door frame. When it came time for payment, since I didn't have enough cash, the technician offered to follow me to an ATM to get cash out. When I declined to do that he said I could write a check but that I would have to write it out to his personal name and not the company's. I opted to give my credit card instead since that seemed off, but now am rethinking that since this entire experience felt like a total scam. These people are crooks. We locked our keys in our car. We called and they said that the fee starts at $45 so we figured the most we would pay would be like $60. The guy comes here and tells us $100. So basically they can charge how ever much they want. It literally took him 1 minute to do the job so i dont understand how they can charge us $100 when they said the flat rate was $45. DO NOT HIRE FOR CAR SERVICE'S FROM THIS COMPANY!! they may be good with other services like home and garage doors but i had the worst experience with them when i called to order a key replacement. I have been calling the company to talk to a supervisor for almost 2 weeks and the service ladies keep telling me that he is out of office and will return my call. I still have not received any calls so i am now giving them a review after several attempts to get this worked out. I ordered a key for my vehicle, was quoted 3 different prices over the phone($139,$129,and $140( when the technician got there, he told me it was going to be $180 and that the ladies who quoted me over the phone didnt know wha they were talking about. After i told him that i couldnt do 180 he asked me if i was going to pay cash or credit and i told him credit. I asked him if the price would be different if i paid cash and he told me it would be $160.I told him i would give me $140 and we finally agreed on $150 cash. When he started to work,he made 2 different keys for me because the first one wouldnt work. The second key he made barely worked. You had to wiggle it for about a minute before the car started. He kept telling me it was my ignition and that it was bad(i just bought the car from a dealer a month before that). After i told him that the ignition wasnt the problem and that it was the key, he started getting mad and told me he had to do something to the ignition. He brought out a computer and connected it to my car. After that the key worked fine. I asked him if my original keys would work and he told me they would. eventually, after he was putting everything together, my keys were found. i tried running the car with the original keys and it would not turn on. the car would just crank as if there was a problem. i told him that i wanted him to put everything the way it was before and he started to get mad. after he put it back i tried the new key he made and same thing, it would not start. i told him that i wasnt satisfied and did not want to pay for a service and i asked for his information and he wouldnt give it to me. he just got in his van(which didnt even have the company name and leaves to assume they contract out their services)and left.
