I recently had my French Doors (leading to my 2nd-floor deck) replaced with Sliding Doors. The…read moreinstallation was completed by Finish Carpenter. The job was a challenge because they had to hoist the three-door, assembled frame up to my second-floor deck. They safely prepared all the decking in drop cloths to prevent any damage to the frame or the deck. They expertly removed the old frame and installed the new one with flashing tape and a door pan to avoid any moisture or mold. They filled in the door gaps with insulation foam, trim, and caulking, and painted all the trim nail holes. They are extremely neat, organized, and very efficient. They cleaned up the entire area and vacuumed. They disposed of all the old material, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their expert craftsmanship. I highly recommend Zoabdile, the owner of Finish Carpenter, for any carpentry project, including windows, doors, etc. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and patient, explaining all the minute details of the project, and has all the latest tools to make the project a professional one. I was very satisfied from beginning to end with Finish Carpentry and highly recommend them.

We also wanted to get a new countertop, which they do not do, but Luis referred us to someone else who was equally as responsive and efficient. The whole project took under one month from getting a quote to finishing the job. We were very pleased with the process! One thing to note is that while the quote is indeed on the lower end of what is out there, the work might not be considered absolute perfection. (e.g. paint might be a touch uneven in some areas; some difficult corners of kitchen have a bit of a rougher cut on the tile but still patched with grout) For me though, it was not an issue because I do still think the job was worth 5 stars for the value. Just know what you are paying for!

I needed old-fashioned plaster repair on every surface of my kitchen, including the ceiling, and completely new drywall in an upstairs bedroom. The team was prompt, polite, professional and skilled. They were never more than an hour late and usually right on time. Plaster repair is not cheap, but I felt I got my money's worth. Before the big move, I would only be in town a few days across multiple weeks but Alex met me at my home and on my schedule. I called and emailed 5 other handymen and explained in detail and with pictures what I needed done (kitchen cabinets, backsplash, crown molding in all bedrooms and living room, multiple window replacement, installing driveway lights) but Alex was the only one who came to see the house and he gave me a fair estimate that he stuck to. His expertise and professionalism were exactly what we were looking for especially since we had to manage the project remotely. Alex's advice on materials and his discount on paint at S Williams also helped save me some serious cash. These are the guys you're looking for.
