Used to go to the one…read morein Chicago on 63rd St near Central Ave. So I have been receiveing PT at the location in Willowbrook IL. for a broken arm. Been going since December. I have, however, been dealing with what I deem inappropriate behavior and have been doing everything in my power to talk to someone about it. I have reached out to the corparate office and beleive it or not was transferred to a third party entity to report my issues. That third party is located in some thrid world nation!!!! I am to try and explain my issues with someone whose first language is not english! Let'st start there. There is also a significant delay when conversing with this individual due to internet connection or whatever the reason but it is MADDENING and unprofessional. Also, these overses agents speak from a script. There is no real conversation to be had at all. I am going to ATI's flagship location. Location #1. I am in a situation where I do not feel comfortable continuing my healing under the circumstances but I am 10 visits in. Almost $400 out of pocket is my responsibility. I am mere minutes from their Bolingbrook Corporate Office but I cannot get a phone call back from anyone. Not one soul has called me even though I was promised a phone call this past Monday 1/20. I was assured someone, Chad, perhaps would call me 100% and nothing. How is this acceptable????? I am beside myself. I did not go in today for my 12:30 scheduled appointment and no called me despite me making several attempt to call them at 630-455-6630. It just rings and rings and rings then goes to a fast busy, I also called the corporate office at (630) 296-2223. Also no answer at all. I will post this everywhere until I get a response. This is upending my recovery and care. Sad from an entity who is supposed to help with said recovery.

She is really knowledgeable and I think she is going to be able to help me. The facility is clean and modern looking and in an easy accessible location in a shopping center. One thing I have always hated at previous therapy centers though is the casual "whatever" attitude that physical therapists have towards their patients. Yes, I want to feel comfortable, but please remember that I am paying for your services and not just visiting a friend. I say this because two things happened: First, there wasn't enough time scheduled for my initial visit. The therapist was quick and extremely professional, but she had a lot to do. Unfortunately the next patient arrived while I still had about 1/2 hour of treatment left. My therapist handled it well, but I should have been given more time for the initial visit. Then to make things more difficult, a manager stood in the middle of the office and announced that they were having an impromptu staff meeting... right now. This was at approximately 1:00 PM in the afternoon. My therapist explained that she was with a patient and the manager said, "it will only take a few minutes, this is important!" ... never apologizing to me, or any other customer for the interruption ... and being quite condescending towards my physical therapist. The meeting went on for about 15 minutes, the manager talking about how she had learned new techniques at a seminar that she had to share, something about new bonuses, etc., etc. My therapist tried to continue my therapy as much as she could, but it was really annoying. I am paying for my treatment. Why should I have to listen to a staff meeting? Save it for another time!! I could tell my therapist was embarrassed, but then what can an employee say to a manager? This was so completely unprofessional.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at Little Steps. Her doctor identified a gross motor…read moredelay and referred us to physical therapy in 2020, and later assessments done by her school district identified a severe fine motor delay. We worked with Sarah at Little Steps to assess her and develop a treatment plan, and worked toward clearly identified gross motor milestones before progressing to occupational therapy. The therapists at Little Steps have even coordinated with her school district regarding her IEP. We have both really enjoyed working with the therapists at Little Steps and look forward to coming together each week. My daughter has made so much progress over the past year! PT and OT have improved all facets of her life--beyond improvements in motor skills, her behavior and attention have improved at home and in the classroom. She's more comfortable and has better endurance.

The first 3 visits were billed at a certain rate. Then, without notice, the billing rate went up 30% for the next 3 visits. I found out about this after treatment was completed on a statement. All 6 visits were for the same time, and the same routine - nothing changed. I called and spoke with the Manager (my therapist), who stated that yes, he was aware that by changing the billing code, the actual billed amount would increase. To me, sounds like an attempt to bolster their billing rate. Unethical at best.

Keep in mind my daughter had already done multiple horse back riding sessions through our special needs recreation department. They said they thought the horse was probably also too small after the session. (Not our fault). Fast forward less than a week and we get a call saying she can't participate anymore because of safety. Keep in mind NONE of this was articulated to me after the session. It was "it's okay, lots of kids have a hard first session. We will see you next week". Nope. They won't even try again. If your kid has behavior issues, don't count on hummingbird. Ridiculous experience.

You can tell the people who created the Hummingbird facilities put so much attention to detail into this place. The bright, vibrant colors put everyone in a calm and upbeat mood! Super happy with my son's therapist, Rachel. Huge facility with so many resources. They can even help your child ride a bicycle. They offer aquatics as well programs with horses. Just amazing stuff! They have a really neat gym as well. The minute you walk in the door your mood gets elevated. Such a happy place! My son is here for occupational therapy to help with fine motor skills development. However they offer almost any program you can imagine including talk therapy to help with emotions. Honestly, can't say enough about this facility and this is after our first visit! I was concerned my son was going to be bored and feel like this was work. However, the therapist makes everything fun and enjoyable. My son loves it!

I went to Team Rehab a couple of weeks ago for a complimentary injury screen, which I heard from…read moremy friend. I've had pain in my upper back and neck for the past 3 weeks, so I figured I'd give it a try. I met Dr. Oi at Team Rehab, who was very respectful and professional. He made me feel welcome when I walked into his clinic. He was very knowledgeable about my issue and was able to help me relieve my pain through educating me with stretching and strengthening exercises that I can do at home. He called me a week later to see how I was doing and I told him that the pain was gone. Team Rehab was great and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

She is kind, funny, engaging, flexible, and creative which means my daughter LOVES her sessions. We began working with Krissy in April so it's all been remote. She has formed a fantastic relationship and the reviews from her teachers and at her IEP meeting reflect just how much has been accomplished in such a short amount of time. Alex was instrumental in helping us start services and continued to find a way to make her practice's services fit with our daughter's diagnosis. She explained everything I needed to know and promptly got back to me with dates and times for a group. Krissy is the SLP who runs the group. Until very recently, he was only able to be seen (elsewhere) once every 2 weeks for Speech. At the same location, we were waitlisted for three months just for an OT evaluation! Needless to say, that was NOT working for us! My son needs more intensive (weekly!) services. Turning Wheels Therapy came recommended by another professional we saw. The owner, Amy, worked with me to get my son in for both therapies on the same scheduled day, and at a time that luckily worked with our crazy schedule. I am SO appreciative of that!! My son really enjoys his OT with Erin and his Speech with Kelsey. Both have been great with my questions. Erin especially has been great with providing me with resources and information regarding OT-based activities and supports. They are currently remodeling their basement area to better accommodate OT/equipment, and I am excited to see the final results! I am very happy that we found private services that works for us. My son is making great gains already, and that makes life easier for all of us!
