Slowly but surely, the mobility in my knees improved and I became strong enough to be able to balance on either foot for thirty seconds.

I would give more than 5 stars if possible! Extremely professional and personable at the same time!…read moreAbsolutely respect Dr Potos! He explained procedures before and while doing them. Dr. Paul provides a safe, understanding, sympathetic, private practice, and always accompanies his diagnosis with standard treatment suggestions in addition to recommendations. He is the first Doctor I have ever had that concentrated on wellness of the mind, body, and soul. Seriously, he is the first doctor that ever made me feel like I was more than just another patient. I can't say enough about his care. From entering his office and working with his kind assistant to the cleanliness and order of his treatment room, all the way to the check out process - his office and professionalism is second to none. As for the care he provided I truly appreciated his approach of treating me as a whole, not a collection of potentially disparate problems. Since he is a one doctor practice he seems to be able to manage his time in such a way that he gives himself time to think and focus on me as his patient - no hurried review of my file as he scampers from his previous patient in the next room, and therefore no rush out the door to his next patient. That's really amazing, and not like the typical doctor. He truly cares about me as a patient and as an individual. I was extremely impressed! Dr. Paul is a higher standard of health care, and I hope his model is the future of the medical industry!"

I have always had a 9 out of 10 experience with ATI around the Tacoma and University Place WA area…read more However, lately, my son experienced some strange behaviors from a PT saying her name was Ann We, I believe is it Ann WU, so you can imagine not even getting the right name there was issues.. The clinic director had us move to another location, instead of honoring his word of my son would not be treated from this Ann. She always had an attitude, but when someone is in a walker already, weak legs after severe malnutrition took all his muscles away, she wanted him to go up and down a lot of steps without any safety holding on to the rails. Also she is leaving this area, and told my son he was being discharged. Then for 3 weeks was all she was left and he was to face her again when her first words are we are going to do something different today?? I felt she was responsible for harming his left weak knee after the stair incident with new trials of something, so I totally supported my son to let's go. The clinic didn't follow through with our conversation to just avoid. She is leaving. So instead, we left to another location I guess so they can keep their image even tho Ann is leaving end of his week. Why do companies do that?? Why do they keep the ones that cause issues. No one else in 4 months had one issue with my son, nor he them So am hoping this next location works better for my son to getting his strength back. It's been a long enough recovery for him, he is doing great, but why do people have to cause issues and speak out of line. There is no discharge anytime soon. This was NOT a communication issue. It's just the same, get rid of the one causing no harm, so the one who does gets to stay. No matter what area or work place, why does this continue?? The star would be a 4 or 5 from my experiences and his experience up to few weeks ago. Now the whole schedule, the planning to rearrange everyone's elses schedule to fit in the new ATI therapy place has to be done. Why are we the ones going through all these changes and possibly having to hire outside the hours we already had scheduled. Oh the clinic director scheduled through December. Telling them I did that. No, I scheduled 6 weeks in advance and had no issues over the last few months. Ann had them deleted. Pecking order of boss vs worker seemed to have over rid somewhere???

They kept me motivated to put in the work and get better. After the 6 week program, I'm pain free and now have a detailed plan for me to continue strengthening at home so it doesn't come back.

I have a rare cancer that required a quad removal and femoral nerve damage. I have ptsd from…read moredomestics violence, childhood physical and sexual abuse. I'm on the autism spectrum. I was matched with a new therapist when mine quit after 3 weeks. I was very open about my struggles and was looking for a qualified therapist to stay with me throughout my recovery journey. After 30 minutes with Jackie from the White Fish Bay location who is now temporarily at the Farwell location. It was obvious it wasn't a good fit. She was not qualified to take on a ptsd, autistic patient repeatedly exclaiming she didn't know what to do with me and was underprepared. Being left vulnerable with a therapist who isn't exuding enough confidence to make her patient feel confident I begin to have a panic attack. While waiting for my ride the front desk woman Crystal, was packing up for the day and her and Jackie asked me if they could help me and gave me tissues. No one knew how to take control of the situation and felt helpless because I seemed helpless. I was deemed too difficult, they tried all they could. They left me crying in the front while other patients continued to arrive and they went into the back and were giggling and chatting. My panic attack became severe and I stepped outside. Crystal left for the day and said to me while I was crying outside "it's probably too cold for you out here you should go back inside." This team felt they did all they could and cared enough. I should have been kindly escorted to a safe place away from other patients until my ride arrived. I feel this team felt if I didn't ask for it there was nothing more they could do. Instead of understanding how debilitating a full blown panic attack is. Manager Amy Goebel called me to discuss what happened with Jackie about 20 minutes after it happened, I was still coming down and anxious. I hadn't had time to process what happened and rattled off in detail what happened step by step. When I was done, Amy said to me "no offense, at this point I feel I don't know how to please you and can't help you." After 30 minutes with my new therapist and 1 panic attack later. I have been deemed too difficult to deal with. Amy said to me she felt I was looking for a therapist that would "anticipate my needs." Which is a stigma towards mental health. While I was talking to her she was laughing at me, when I asked her why she was laughing she said she wasn't laughing. When I confronted her later if she could recognize she had indeed laughed, she said she did but it wasn't at me it was because I make her uncomfortable. It was only after I asked to speak to her manager that she begged me to give her a second chance. Two days later I called to follow up about Amy to her manager and the number she provided me went no where. When I reached out to my old clinic to speak to my old therapist and I reached out to the whitefish bay clinic to speak to their manager, I received a text from Amy saying "please stop calling everywhere, please stop." When I spoke to manager Farley from the whitefish bay location, she munched her lunch in my ear while she listened to my story, through my anguish she loudly ate her food in the phone and said she would take what I had to say into consideration and felt Jackie was qualified enough but underprepared. She said Jackie has worked with ptsd patients in the past but was unsure if she had worked with autism patients before. My anxiety and autism has made this team uncomfortable and frankly I'm baffled at how not just unprepared and low confidence Jackie was, but the ignorance of this entire team towards mental health and compassion. Since the event they have treated me like a problematic unruly patient. Anyone who struggles with post traumatic stress disorder or is on the autism spectrum or suffering from something outside of the basic bumps and bruises, should steer clear of any ATI as they are the super cuts of physical therapy.
