They had no answer when I asked what the therapy regimen would be! So I asked around, and was told "John Ash is the only physical therapist I would see in town" - by another medical professional. I was nervous, but started with P.T. First right after surgery. I couldn't have chosen better. Every session helped restore my movement and while they were tiring, they NEVER hurt. I was using my shoulder the first week! I later learned ATI would have just literally handed me a lits of exercises and left me with an "assistant." For the same money! When people talk about how their injuries aren't improving, I give them P.T. First's phone number. If you want personal care, specific to YOUR needs, go here. My shoulder's doing great, and the great treatment from P.T. First is the reason.

Upon entering you may be greeted with some kids because there is a day care in the same building. The office is located in the lower level. There are two rooms for acupuncture & they suite need for a calm experience. The acupuncturist, Mai Lee, does a holistic approach healing the mind, body, & soul, which I found very beneficial for myself and my family. The initial would be the counseling & getting to know you & how your mind works. In addition, she also includes a massage after the acupuncture making the experience more complete. My husband has been seeing her for almost two years now for his back. His doctor recommended a back surgery, but he wanted to try acupuncture before doing a very invasive surgery. To our surprise, he no longer takes any type of pain medication & his pain has decreases & is manageable. The surgery is no longer an issue to address. We have also referred friends & family to Mai Lee & they, too, have experienced satisfaction with no to minimal pain with whatever their aches & pains are. I highly recommend for anybody to seek out Eastern Medicine before doing any major invasive surgery. The place to go for acupuncture would be at Healing Acupuncture LLC...

But then there's the billing people. I paid my bill in full and later got a notice saying I still owed. I figured it was faulty bookkeeping and they would catch it soon. Months later, I got a phone call letting me know this was my last warning before I go to collections. Collections?? For a bill I paid?? I explained that I had paid. So I was told I needed to find copies of my cancelled checks and email them. This was no easy feat since they are all on my bank's website. I found them and emailed the copies. I was told thanks and that their bank made an error. Ok. Good way to pass the buck. Due to that, I will look elsewhere next time I get a random injury.

Based on Pam M.'s recommendation, I went here because it was near my home. My other (personal)…read morechoice was a place downtown. I haven't really had any problems with my back, per se, but I just had a general "loose" feeling to my lower spine, like I didn't have much stability. As I told Dr. Paul, I felt like my hips and legs were a base and my spine was a spring. My upper body felt like a bobble head, just bouncing around most of the time. At times, it would feel as if the spring had rusted and I would have to crack my back to loosen it up again. Within minutes of meeting me, Dr. Paul could tell something wasn't right and decided we should take an x-ray. He also pointed out that one shoulder sat considerably higher than the other, something I never really paid attention to. The results of the x-ray showed that I had scoliosis, not all that uncommon, really. However, not only did my spine make an S curve, it also rotated slightly right at my chest. We immediately began with an adjustment, which as he put it, is basically like trying to train your spine to go back into it's proper position. To me, it was the best back-crack ever! The staff here are very friendly: they always greet me with a smile and a hello and wish me a good day when I leave. While clinic-y, this place still has a somewhat homey feel to it (because it actually used to be a house?) and is very clean with lots of big windows to look out of. It borders a small section of Whitnall Park and I actually saw a deer during one of my treatments! What you should know: you'll probably start off going every day, depending on what's needed. This will not be permanent! I went from every day for about a week to every other day for about two weeks, to twice a week for about two weeks and am now at once a week. Again, this will not be a thing where I have to go every week for the rest of my life, but training your bones WILL take some time! I realize that this isn't ideal, especially if you don't have insurance, but I believe that most chiropractors operate in this manner...something you may want/need to consider before consulting one. As for me, I, luckily, have very good insurance, so my portion of the bills is very affordable. I have noticed that my back feels much stronger and solid and I rarely feel the need to crack it since starting treatment. Also, my shoulders are pretty close to sitting even with each other. If you're in the 'burbs and need a good (and effective) chiropractor, check this place out. I don't think you'll be disappointed. 100/2015

There is no comparison. It is difficult to get appointments midday as the doctors take a long lunch from 1130am until 230pm or so. And the appointments end at about 530pm. But, you just have to schedule around that. They have always been very flexible with me if I am running late a few minutes coming from work, as well.
